## What is Pulse?

Pulse is the personal-finance spreadsheet you've been maintaining — reborn as an app that actually feels good to use.

EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
• Live Dashboard with your real net worth across every account, currency, and asset
• Insights hub — net worth over time with a settable goal and projected pace, an interactive cash-flow diagram, and spending drill-downs into cash, debt, investments, and expenses
• Monthly budget that plans ahead and tracks actuals as you go
• Accounts ledger covering checking, savings, credit cards, debt, and cash — in any currency
• Portfolio for shares, ETFs, and crypto with live prices and intraday sparklines
• RSU and vesting plans with vest-date notifications
• Property holdings — flats, cars, collectibles — at your stated value
• Scheduled transactions that materialize automatically
• Unified transaction feed showing income, expenses, transfers, and investments in one stream
• Home-screen and lock-screen widgets — net worth, budget, upcoming bills, account balances, and vests at a glance
• Quick-add from anywhere — Siri, Shortcuts, the Action Button, or your Apple Watch

WHAT MAKES PULSE DIFFERENT
• Multi-currency native — no app makes you re-enter foreign accounts as USD
• Local-first — your data lives on your device, synced privately through your own iCloud
• No ads, no tracking — you're the customer, not the product; Pulse never sells your data
• Designed for power users — the precision of a ledger, the clarity of a real app

WHO PULSE IS FOR
• People paid in multiple currencies, or with international accounts
• Spreadsheet maintainers ready for a real iOS app
• Switchers from YNAB, Revolut, or Wise — one-tap import presets bring your history over
• Investors tracking shares, crypto, RSUs, and property in one place
• Anyone who wants their real net worth in one number, refreshed live

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Pulse stores everything on your device. iCloud sync keeps your iPhone and iPad in step through your own iCloud account. Pulse keeps your data in your iCloud, not on our servers — and when you connect a bank, that link only fetches your transactions; Pulse's connection service stores none of your financial data. CSV import and export at any time — review every row before it lands, and undo an import in one tap.

Your net worth. Every currency. Private.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.4 — 2026-08-26

Money opens faster, even with years of history.

• Changing an entry's currency now re-checks its exchange rate — a foreign amount no longer counts as dollars.
• The bank-sync indicator stays visible while you scroll, and stops spinning while it's waiting on the bank.
• Hide numbers now hides them from VoiceOver too.
• Fixed a transfer that could go unsaved, and the month total on the Money card.

### 1.5.3 — 2026-08-20

Pulse opens right away — no more pause on the first screen.

• Sync one bank card straight from the account's menu.
• Fixed Insights taps opening the wrong screen, and the category picker losing your place.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-03

Scheduled transactions now link to real entries — cover one from Quick Add, link a bank import to it, or bring back a missed date.

• Debts and savings goals get their own cards in Money.
• Planning a budget item shows last period's spend.
• Faster launch, bank sync and feeds.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-07-21

Budget items can now roll over — carry what you didn't spend into next month.

• Compare spending to a previous period in Insights.
• Net worth headline now reads net of debt.
• See a live preview of your file while you map columns on import.
• Turn any entry into a transfer from its detail screen.
• Faster on large ledgers, Hide numbers on Apple Watch, plus amount and transfer fixes.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-14

The biggest Pulse update yet — a new Insights hub, widgets, and a redesigned Money tab.

• Insights — a new analytics space: net worth over time with a goal you set and a projected pace, an interactive cash-flow diagram, and spending drill-downs into cash, debt, investments, and expenses.
• Redesigned Money tab — faster and smoother, native swipe actions on every row, and balances grouped by currency, type, or liquidity.
• Widgets — net worth, upcoming bills, and account balances on your home screen; net worth, budget, and vests on your lock screen.
• Add expenses hands-free — with Siri, Shortcuts, or the Action Button.
• Stronger import — one-tap presets for YNAB, Revolut, and Wise, multiple files in one go, duplicate detection, and undo.
• Prices & Rates — searchable watchlist with intraday sparklines.
• Card review — swipe through bank-synced transactions to categorize them fast.

Plus many speed, accuracy, and polish fixes throughout.
