### 4/5 — Idk I guess I need a title

*2026-07-07, version 2.37*

I really like everything about it but if I could change the sound for the Dow and up beats not just the sound in general but to like do wood block for down beats and cow bell for up beats that would be nice but like I said it is great and simple especially while I’m practicing

### 2/5 — Background App Battery Drain

*2026-05-20, version 2.37*

While it’s a sleek and simple app it drains battery in the background for some reason, it stayed on for 12 hours and brought my battery life from 90 to 20 overnight.

### 4/5 — Good but could be great

*2026-05-15, version 2.37*

Love it but please add 1) an option to change the time signature on the main screen without having to go to settings 2) customizable bpm presets on the main screen

### 2/5 — No haptics, no app support

*2026-05-07, version 2.37*

So this doesn’t do anything I wanted it to do. Can’t see any point to it.

### 5/5 — Amazing Metronome App

*2026-03-23, version 2.37*

I started using this app recently and it’s an easy-to-use, simple, ad free and user friendly app. It is also visually pleasing and easy to navigate. I definitely recommend this app to any musician whos looking for a good free metronome app.

### 2/5 — Applewatchからでは。。

*2026-03-01*

振動が弱すぎて全然使えないかなと

### 5/5 — Gorgeous design

*2026-02-13, version 2.37*

I’m honestly floored at how beautiful and functional this is, while having a nice minimal clean interface.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-02-06, version 2.37*

This is an amazing metronome and I love it. I use it for guitar and piano personally. It’s great. Wish there were more song presets though.

### 2/5 — Please help

*2026-02-06, version 2.37*

How do I turn it off???
Or make it go to zero?

### 5/5 — It’s good

*2026-01-22, version 2.37*

Yea, pretty good…

### 2/5 — i can’t stop it 😢✌️

*2026-01-19, version 2.37*

no matter what i did, i literally could not stop the metronome on my watch. i tapped it 50 times. when i open the app back up on my watch, it just keeps going. it only stops when i’m not on the app. it seems weird for me to complain but i’d like to keep it open while i’m changing pieces without feeling the overstimulating rhythm on my wrist.

### 3/5 — Watch not great

*2025-12-09, version 2.37*

The haptics of the watch are not strong enough and you can’t hear it either except if you use it with the phone

### 2/5 — No more haptics on phone app?

*2025-11-15, version 2.37*

I used to like this app so much, but now the haptics are gone for the phone app? No more haptics option? Please add it back!!!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2025-11-02, version 2.37*

Very simple and intuitive. Great metronome and precise. Love it.

### 3/5 — Could not get it to download on apple watch

*2025-10-18, version 2.37*

Didn’t work on Apple Watch

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Tried it for running cadence

*2026-08-03, version 2.37*

I wanted to use this as a cadence timer for running on my Apple Watch but I could not get the sound to work.

### 1/5 — Metronome doesn’t work

*2026-06-17, version 2.37*

When I try to turn on the metronome, it doesn’t turn on. It says to tap to turn on the metronome, but when I do that it changes the tempo, and doesn’t even turn the metronome on. This app is useless.

### 1/5 — I hate it

*2026-04-02, version 2.37*

I hate it

### 1/5 — No

*2026-03-24, version 2.37*

I don’t like it it was really hard to get the tempo you wanted and you had to tap to get it and you couldn’t just choose

### 1/5 — Clicks just stopped working

*2025-11-14, version 2.37*

Worked fine for a while and suddenly it stopped making the click i need to keep rhythm, no idea why and nothing in settings helps you work it out

### 1/5 — Apple Watch app hard to use — This app is DEAD

*2025-09-13, version 2.37*

It’s not clear how to start and stop the metronome. We don’t have Force Press anymore. Note that the app has not been updated in 6 years. It’s dead dead dead.

### 1/5 — Too light a tap for the watch

*2025-07-01, version 2.37*

Can’t feel it on my wrist when walking. Can’t use this app.

### 1/5 — Cannot feel the pulse

*2025-06-19, version 2.37*

The pulse is so weak I cannot feel it. That’s the whole point of this app on the watch. I want it to pulse the beat so I don’t need the phone. This app is not useful at all. I’ll look for another one with stronger haptic pulse.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work Well for Watch

*2025-06-13, version 2.37*

Haptics are too faint to be useful on Apple Watch. Deleted app after 5 minutes.

### 1/5 — Not strong enough on watch

*2025-06-11, version 2.37*

Looking for a metronome for running on the watch so I don’t need to carry the phone. This one only allows a faint haptic. Not worth it. Deleting.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Soo good for musisians

*2026-08-27, version 2.37*

I have been playing for 7 years and this app helps me archive my dreams so use it wisely

### 5/5 — Great metronome, but don’t see haptic options

*2026-08-21, version 2.37*

I’ve been using this for a number of years. I especially like the feature that let’s you tap to establish a bpm. I was recently looking for a metronome app that would keep beats with haptics. The app store info seems to indicate that Pulse will do that, but I can’t find that option.

### 5/5 — 真的很好用啊。。。。

*2026-08-07*

我忍不住给五星好评，完全简单，而且免费，很人性化，没有过多的文字只靠图标就能够理解怎么使用了。。。。

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-02, version 2.37*

I am a piano player and having this app is great to stay on beat. I play for a local church and it is great to have this metronome when playing in a band or group.

Overall great app.!!!

### 5/5 — Génial

*2026-07-25*

Propre, simple, sans pub, efficace. Tout ce que je cherchais dans mon métier de comptable cadencé de produits.

### 5/5 — It’s a metronome

*2026-07-09, version 2.37*

Free, no subscription, no in app purchases, and a working metronome. What else do you need?

### 5/5 — Super Useful and Simple

*2026-06-29, version 2.37*

It only took me a couple of minutes to figure this out and I use it all the time with my music teacher. It makes learning songs and staying on beat super easy and simple. 10/10

### 5/5 — Running - Perfect but need volume control

*2026-05-04, version 2.37*

Perfect but need volume control. I use it exclusively for running at 180 cadance and it works wonders

### 5/5 — Dependable Timekeeper

*2026-04-28, version 2.37*

I’ve been using Pulse Metronome for years. Out of all the free metronomes I’ve tried, Pulse is the one I kept coming back to.
Easy to use, ability to customize accents, color of pulse beats and options for metronome sound. I use it for everything !

### 5/5 — Dunno

*2026-04-22, version 2.37*

Really simple and easy MM to use
