When I expand articles to try to read them, it just opens up a mostly blank box with a bunch of unclickable keywords and symbols. I can only ever read the initial summary and never the entire article. I tried deleting the app, and now I can’t even reinstall it. The App Store icon says OPEN rather than INSTALL. When NP first started I got a “LIFETIME” membership. When the app came out I got a second “LIFETIME” membership just to show support! One year later, they changed me an annual renewal fee! I tried to contact them directly…no response. I challenged the charge. My bank tried to contact them, and they got no response. When the app first came out big promises were made…weekly podcasts, physical magazine, etc. Really all they do is rehash every story your already bored with by the time NP gets it published. On rare occasion there’ll be a self-serving analysis by Raheem (when he finds a way to interject himself into the periphery of the story). My mistake was hoping finally having the app would make NP a better news source. If it wasn’t for RRB and Fleccas i would’ve cancelled my subscription ### 1/5 — Love the content but app is terrible. *2024-06-13, version 1.0.4* Have to download the app each and every time I go to it on my iPad. Very frustrating. Would like to pop into the app from time to time but the process of redownloading every time is ridiculous. I hardly go to it even though I paid for a subscription. If it does play, if connected to my car, the music automatically plays in the background because the app doesn’t mesh with other Apple apps. Once I log back in it’s there for a while but goes blank after checking back a few hours later. In either case I can’t open the editors notes as promised in the subscription. Even turned off my VPN to see if that helped, and it didn’t. ### 2/5 — Broken app *2024-05-25, version 1.0.4* Pulse+ is great. I love watching Fleccas and RRB but this app is completely broken. The video player doesn’t work nor will any of the articles load. To read that content, one must sign in to the website through a browser. The news content is good, but the app is unusable. Will NOT be renewing subscription as NO ONE responds to the issues with the app. Sent several emails to a supposed support address… but “crickets”. ### 1/5 — No Support! *2026-07-15, version 1.1.0* The read more function hasn’t worked in quite awhile. The read more article is distorted and is not easily readable. Since I can’t reach support and it just renewed, I am stuck with non functioning app for another year after cancelling! And I really appreciate getting the top global headlines as well.
