## What is Pulse Vitals?

Pulse Vitals is a calm, local-first companion for seeing selected Apple Health data on iPhone, Apple Watch, widgets, and complications.

TODAY AT A GLANCE

See your latest available heart-rate and blood-oxygen samples, today’s steps, sleep summaries, and workout context. Pulse shows timestamps and gaps honestly; it does not imply continuous measurement.

PROGRESS AND COMPANIONS

Join the optional consistency program from Progress. A day counts when you reach your step goal or record a workout. Choose Ember, Sprout, or Orbit: static companion artwork reflects credited active days, rank, growth phase, and recent activity. Progress is computed locally and is not a health score.

OPTIONAL REMINDERS

Daily-progress and gentle-return reminders are local, off by default, and scheduled only after you enable them in Settings. Pulse does not use remote push notifications.

STEP QUEST

Start a 90-minute Step Quest yourself from Progress. Its ActivityKit Live Activity can show step progress on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Updates depend on recent Health data and Apple system delivery; Pulse does not start it automatically or promise real-time background updates.

APPLE WATCH AND WIDGETS

See your chosen companion and progress on Apple Watch, run a short local heart-rate sensor check, and use snapshot-based widgets and complications for quick reading.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account, no server, no ads, and no third-party analytics. Health data stays on your devices. Pulse stores only compact local state needed for its app, Watch, widget, notification, and consistency features.

Pulse is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, emergency alerts, or continuous monitoring. Blood-oxygen availability depends on device, region, settings, and Apple Health support.
