## What is PulseKernel?

PulseKernel turns the system signals that iOS makes available into one clear, private dashboard.

See what is happening now:
• Device-wide CPU activity and per-logical-processor estimates
• This monitor's own CPU use and physical memory footprint
• Apple's thermal pressure state: nominal, fair, serious, or critical
• Battery level, charging state, and Low Power Mode
• Total storage and the capacity iOS reports as available for important use
• Live download and upload throughput across active network interfaces

Understand the last hour:
• Follow CPU load, battery level, thermal pressure, and network throughput over time
• Keep separate foreground sessions visually distinct

Keep a battery reference:
iOS does not provide battery health or cycle count to App Store apps. PulseKernel lets you enter the values shown in Settings and stores them locally for convenient reference.

Honest by design:
PulseKernel reports Apple's supported thermal state rather than inventing a numeric temperature.

PulseKernel samples every two seconds while it is open. For unattended sessions, an optional keep-screen-awake setting can prevent Auto-Lock while the dashboard stays visible. Ordinary iPhone apps are suspended in the background, so gaps between foreground sessions are shown instead of filled with estimated data.

No account, ads, analytics, or tracking. PulseKernel does not transmit your readings.
