## What is PulsePoint Respond?

PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected mobile app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is needed nearby. If you’re trained in CPR and are willing to assist in an emergency, the app will alert you if someone near you is having a cardiac emergency and may need CPR.

In addition to nearby “CPR Needed” notifications, you can choose to be notified of other events that may impact you and your family, such as wildland fires, flooding and utility emergencies. You can also monitor live dispatch radio traffic for most PulsePoint-connected communities with a simple tap on the speaker icon.

PulsePoint currently provides coverage for thousands of communities in North America, with many more on the way. For more information, visit pulsepoint.org, contact us at info@pulsepoint.org.

PulsePoint Respond is an end-to-end FirstNet Certified™ application. FirstNet Certified solutions must demonstrate 99.99% availability and pass independent third-party security, data privacy and performance audits.

PulsePoint is a 501(c)(3) public non-profit foundation building applications that help public safety agencies inform and engage their citizens.

### 1/5 — Frequencies

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

I no longer hear feedback from units because the responses are on different frequencies that are not supported.

### 5/5 — Wish to know more

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

It's a nice alert to avoid the area. Wish I knew what the codes mean. Thanks

### 5/5 — Helpful, Easy to Use emergency notification app

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

I’ve been using PulsePoint for several years now and it works well and it’s easy to configure. Most of the time I get notifications of local emergencies before I hear sirens, so it’s also very fast.

### 5/5 — Thank you!!

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

Thank You!!

### 1/5 — use to be great

*2026-08-25, version 26.8.5383*

This was a great app. Now there is rarely any info in my area. No fire or accidents and hardly any of the ambulance calls.

### 4/5 — Good app, but they should add this feature

*2026-08-22, version 26.8.5383*

I think they should add a primary trained responder function so individuals that have or hold basic life support certification should be assigned as primary responders if there are multiple people with the app in the area. If there is no one in the area with that, then individuals without proper certification
can be alerted

### 5/5 — Great community support

*2026-08-22, version 26.8.5383*

Anytime I hear a siren in town,I check PulsePoint to see what’s going on. It feels helpful to see if there’s an emergency that I should be prepared for or if it’s something else. There’s been small fires in my town that the bigger fire app didn’t show, but it was valuable to know that they were happening and where. Just in case they did end up being a threat to our town. Also helps knowing where the traffic collisions are, and any thing that would change how long it takes me to get to work or appointments.

### 5/5 — Patty

*2026-08-22, version 26.8.5383*

Would like to see more details about the call. Thank you.
And, thank you for all that you do! Great job and quick response when our neighborhood has requested help for medical issues.

### 1/5 — Surveys suck!

*2026-08-21, version 26.8.5383*

Stop preventing the app from working for a stoopid survey.

### 3/5 — Location

*2026-08-20*

Seems like a good app but doesn’t work in my area. If you all could put Alberta on the map that would be cool, specifically Edmonton, AB
