### 4/5 — Good app, but they should add this feature

*2026-08-22, version 26.8.5383*

I think they should add a primary trained responder function so individuals that have or hold basic life support certification should be assigned as primary responders if there are multiple people with the app in the area. If there is no one in the area with that, then individuals without proper certification
can be alerted

### 3/5 — Location

*2026-08-20*

Seems like a good app but doesn’t work in my area. If you all could put Alberta on the map that would be cool, specifically Edmonton, AB

### 4/5 — PulsePoint

*2026-08-17, version 26.8.5383*

The system is very good, retired firefighter and enjoy seeing where my friends are responding to.

### 3/5 — Remove the dispatch radio

*2026-08-12, version 26.8.5383*

I would give this app another star or two but you can’t listen to fires or large incidents due to the dispatching of the runs. People just want to listen to fires or large incidents not an EMS run dispatch.

### 3/5 — Hipa

*2026-08-09, version 26.8.5383*

Some departments show a house but not the address for medical emergencies. Mutual aide for chaplains also gives the location and address. Could be a violation or inconsideration for family.

### 5/5 — 48 yrs Firefighter.

*2026-08-05, version 26.7.5371*

Enjoy everything you good people do. From PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY MARYLAND.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-08-04, version 26.7.5371*

Love PulsePoint! It is It is nice to know where emergencies are happening and they do a pretty good job of giving the precise location! It is like letting someone listen to your scanner 24/7 and you only just get the important information lol. 😊

### 2/5 — Alert sound

*2026-08-04*

(Turn off) Mute alert sound
Option to vibrate instead of ring tone
Choose specific area(s)

### 4/5 — Poo

*2026-08-04, version 26.7.5371*

It doesn’t show all the emergencies so I kind of hate it so don’t download it

### 5/5 — Just me

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Frequencies

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

I no longer hear feedback from units because the responses are on different frequencies that are not supported.

### 1/5 — use to be great

*2026-08-25, version 26.8.5383*

This was a great app. Now there is rarely any info in my area. No fire or accidents and hardly any of the ambulance calls.

### 1/5 — Surveys suck!

*2026-08-21, version 26.8.5383*

Stop preventing the app from working for a stoopid survey.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-08-17, version 26.8.5383*

Not working

### 1/5 — Sound quality

*2026-08-15, version 26.8.5383*

The sound quality is HORRIBLE right now. It’s muffled and can’t hear anything!!!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Not working for over a month

*2026-08-14, version 26.8.5383*

Unable to give an appropriate review due to the app not working for over a month and a half! Very disappointed

### 1/5 — Down

*2026-08-10, version 26.8.5383*

It’s been down since before July 4th and it would be nice to be able to see things

### 1/5 — Current state

*2026-08-07, version 26.8.5383*

This app is currently (8-6-2026) not working. I’m listening to audio about an ongoing fire that shows no units assigned and is in closed section. It’s clearly not closed as additional units are still being dispatched and new alarm being called. Pulse Point shows no units associated with the call nor anything except closed at 4 minutes. This is ongoing issue and has been this way for some time even with most recent updates. USELESS

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-08-04, version 26.7.5371*

I tried to use the app and it froze my phone. It asked me about allowing alerts and froze the screen. so after I forced restart my phone I deleted the app.

### 1/5 — No service:

*2026-07-31, version 26.7.5371*

Why are we not able to access??

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Wish to know more

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

It's a nice alert to avoid the area. Wish I knew what the codes mean. Thanks

### 5/5 — Helpful, Easy to Use emergency notification app

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

I’ve been using PulsePoint for several years now and it works well and it’s easy to configure. Most of the time I get notifications of local emergencies before I hear sirens, so it’s also very fast.

### 5/5 — Thank you!!

*2026-08-26, version 26.8.5383*

Thank You!!

### 5/5 — Great community support

*2026-08-22, version 26.8.5383*

Anytime I hear a siren in town,I check PulsePoint to see what’s going on. It feels helpful to see if there’s an emergency that I should be prepared for or if it’s something else. There’s been small fires in my town that the bigger fire app didn’t show, but it was valuable to know that they were happening and where. Just in case they did end up being a threat to our town. Also helps knowing where the traffic collisions are, and any thing that would change how long it takes me to get to work or appointments.

### 5/5 — Patty

*2026-08-22, version 26.8.5383*

Would like to see more details about the call. Thank you.
And, thank you for all that you do! Great job and quick response when our neighborhood has requested help for medical issues.

### 5/5 — In the know…

*2026-08-15, version 26.8.5383*

A great app to keep informed of local emergency situations

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-08-15, version 26.8.5383*

PulsePoint is absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It’s easy to use, informative, and gives you real-time alerts when you need them most. I love having important local safety information right at my fingertips. Highly recommend! 🚨❤️

### 5/5 — Primary News Source

*2026-08-12, version 26.8.5383*

Just the right amount of information

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-08-12, version 26.8.5383*

Great app, I love to keep track of anything going on around me and this is just the perfect app for this, so if you always want to be on it get this app I really recommend, also if you are nosy, like if you want to listen to the radio of what they are talking about you can listen if this app 10/10 🙌🏽🙌🏽

### 5/5 — Great app to know why you hear sirens

*2026-08-07, version 26.8.5383*

This is a great app, works in a ton of jurisdictions and lists fire and EMS emergency calls. Each call listed shows the street and clicking on the call shows a map with the exact location. The built in scanner lets you hear what’s going on with the call. As a bonus, if you know CPR and enable location services the app will tell you if someone nearby needs CPR. I use this app all over the US.
