It takes some “figuring out” and I am still learning…and the low key legit competition is interesting and engaging. ### 5/5 — Greatness *2025-07-01, version 2.6.0* Black Excellence ### 5/5 — About 1 month in *2025-06-30* I have enjoyed what I’ve experienced so far, much more rewarding and meaningful than sharing my work on Instagram and other sites. ### 3/5 — Good all around app! *2025-06-25* The app have come a long way with many adaptations and changes! But as anticipated the reward system started to dwindle with the increase in active users. However the rewards are not the main reason for us to enjoy this app and the photography, it is still a good app/platform for photographers. The downside of a reward based system is cheating and repeating cheaters! No matter how hard you try there will always be the incentive for certain people to pursue the financial rewards and this takes away from the fairness and contribution from all the players who are genuine. Finally, I have been on the list to run a challenge since running challenges by users was introduced which lacks transparency towards the loyal members! **Developer response:** Hi Snapzy, thank you for your detailed feedback! Можно все таки было заработать коины и купить звезды для участия в конкурсах. Я даже взял мастера ! Сейчас же все- экономике конец .! Только жадно, алчное :»Дай !» от разработчика. И я не дам . Просто удаляю это приложение. На что Вы рассчитываете ? Еще и рулетку эту добавили , куда люди по своей наивности сливают коины, которые так тяжело заработать. Жалкая капиталистическая модель. Сами играйте в свою рулетку. Особенно клинит еще. В 500px раздел с нудистскими снимками. Я все понимаю, есть у этого жанра своя аудитория , но я все таки за разделение этих ниш. Там где то на порнхабе сделайте раздел и туда заливайте. Хорошо хоть в пульс пикс этого жанра нет. Короче нет. Это приложение вызывает у меня только уныние. Мало того что нужно купить технику, научиться снимать, снять! Выложить- и вот оно «дай!» . Я должен заплатить , чтобы поучаствовать в конкурсе. Иначе никак заработать звезды нельзя. ### 1/5 — Financial fraud *2026-04-15, version 2.8.5* I am a professional photographer and I’ve been waiting for my $100 payout since February 5th. My RAW files were requested and SUCCESSFULLY verified by their team. They officially confirmed the payout via email, claiming "internal financial issues." Now, two months later, they are ignoring all my emails and have completely DELETED my transaction record from the "Redemption History" in the app. The points were never returned to my balance. This is a clear case of withholding earned funds and tampering with financial records. DO NOT USE THIS APP. It is a scam. I have all the screenshots as proof of their confirmed debt and the subsequent disappearance of my data. ### 1/5 — Hand over your work *2026-03-11, version 2.8.5* A quote from the Terms & Conditions of this app: „This User Licence allows us to use all submitted Content for promotional and other purposes at our sole discretion, without compensation.“ This is not acceptable business conduct. ### 1/5 — Non pagano più *2026-02-25, version 2.8.4* L’app è carina e fino a qualche mese fa tutto bene, pagavano regolarmente, ma il 24 gennaio ho chiesto l’ultimo pagamento e dopo un mese ancora nulla, ho contattato l’assistenza più volte e mi rispondono sempre la stessa cosa che si scusano e di attendere… ### 1/5 — Cannot download the app *2025-12-23, version 2.8.2* Cannot download the app on iPhone 17 Pro Max! ### 1/5 — Many Contests *2025-12-22* EDIT: I have lowered the rating for this app. I feel this app doesn’t support beginners whatsoever and actually has taken exp points for not doing good in a contest. I have had a photo DQ’ed without explanation (I followed guidelines) while other photos get voted above mine and don’t follow guidelines. There is usually room to improve.** ### 1/5 — Looks like you will be banned at redemption *2025-12-08* I’ve been using this app since the beginning. At first, withdrawals worked fine — I provided RAW files as requested, and my first payout went through. But now, it’s clear the app bans accounts when you try to withdraw your winnings. My first account was blocked after redemption for “AI content” so, I decided that it because of Photoshop generative retouch and created a new account to continue using the app. That account worked fine until I tried to ask for redemption again — it was immediately banned as a “duplicate account,” even though I read the rules and there is no prohibition on having a second account. It feels like the app simply doesn’t want to pay users. My previous review disappeared without any response. Extremely frustrating and unfair. ### 1/5 — Puritanical nonsense / A nice idea but no growth opportunities *2025-12-04* Update: My accounts were deleted, and customer service has been unhelpful. They claim that I violated some policy. I am a nude fine artist with bodies in forests and on mountains. There is barely anything to see, and besides — the way the app works is you connect it to 500px, and import from your portfolio on 500px. Why would the policies be different when they are connected? It makes no sense. Ironic too because my photos were winning the contests. So who exactly had a problem with it? A bunch of puritan bible thumping nonsense. Original review: I will admit that I don’t understand the long term benefits of using this app. I’m a longtime user of 500px, where you can present your portfolio and get followers and likes and it links back to your professional site. In comparison, PULSEpx feels “cute.” Like, awe you’re trying to be something but not quite making it. There is more opportunity to win tiny amounts of prize money but even then it’s split between multiple people. I won first place and got a whopping $6 because I didn’t realize the first place prize was split between ten winners. And I don’t understand the growth opportunities. No one can follow you, there are no links to your professional work. What is the point besides getting a few pennies a day in prize money? Good quality photos get ranked down. ### 1/5 — Scammers! *2025-03-21* These are scammers! They just write off the likes that people put on your photo. I made screenshots on purpose and made sure of it.
