## What is Pulsio?

Pulsio - Wake-on-LAN Tool is a streamlined utility designed to remotely power on your computers using the Wake-on-LAN feature. This application sends a "Magic Packet" via a POSIX UDP socket to your devices' broadcast addresses, leveraging a secure on-device process. It allows you to maintain a customizable list of your devices, including their name, MAC address, IP, broadcast address, port, and a chosen icon, all saved locally in UserDefaults. Before sending a packet, Pulsio performs a Ping Check using TCP connect to verify device availability and also intelligently detects broadcast addresses using getifaddrs, while ensuring you're in the same network subnet with an alert if discrepancies are found. The app includes a helpful Setup Guide with step-by-step instructions for Windows, Mac, and Linux, alongside a 3-screen onboarding process and 8 device icons to personalize your setup.
