### 5/5 — Finally!!

*2026-07-17*

I’ve been looking for an app just like this!

### 5/5 — Excellent user experience

*2026-07-13*

I’ve downloaded several fitness apps and none have been as user friendly or motivational as this one. I love the feature where I can upload a synopsis of my workout with a selfie onto my instagram story! It provides nice social connection as well as goals-tracking to the gym experience

### 5/5 — So intuitive

*2026-07-06*

This app does it all - and keeps getting better. I love how intuitive it is. I can get to the gym and quickly build my workout without wasting any time. I love the ability to add workouts from others too. The suggested tempos are such a great addition.

### 5/5 — Incredible!

*2026-06-25*

Would love to see a library of exercises to choose from but other than that so happy to have an app like this!

**Developer response:** thanks for you feedback! We are currently working on the library and should be released early July!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-06-22*

Started doing more time under tension training from my trainer and this is so nice to track everything

### 5/5 — Love the tempo!

*2026-06-22*

Used to use my timer and it was so inefficient, never not using this again!

### 5/5 — Incredible!! but one request, groups!

*2026-06-21*

One of my favorite features is the ability to share workouts and follow other users. It adds a great sense of community and motivation, and I’ve discovered some fantastic workouts from people I follow.

The only feature I’d love to see added is the ability to create groups. It would be awesome to have dedicated spaces for friends, gym buddies, fitness challenges, or specific communities to share progress, encourage each other, and stay accountable. I think it would take the social side of the app to the next level.

Overall, it’s a fantastic app that I use regularly and would highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your support and feedback! We are working on groups and hopefully will have it live this summer. Can't wait to get your hands on it and see what you do with it!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-17

Replay your routes in 3D, see your heart rate where you train, and watch how every exercise should look.

• Movie Map: replay a GPS workout with Follow, Sweep, and Orbit cameras, with your route draped over real terrain
• Heart rate joins the workout: a dedicated page in Timer Mode, a live trace behind the GPS lock screen card, and your max heart rate from Apple Health or set by hand
• Form demos show you the movement on library exercises, with pinch to zoom in full screen, your own video in place of any demo, and a switch to turn demos off
• A per workout volume history, opened straight from the volume tile
• Make Private on any activity, from the feed card or the detail menu
• Library search now finds matches that a filter chip was hiding, and My Requests is searchable too
• Quick Start is open to everyone
• Rest and tempo behave: skip any full screen rest, zero out the tempo phases to switch tempo off for a set, and a single set never offers rest after it
• Videos in the feed play without interrupting your music
• A new app icon, a Create with AI starting point, and an end of workout drawer in place of the old alert

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-09

A smoother start and better control over your workouts.

• Redesigned sign-up and sign-in: a cleaner welcome screen, sign-in that remembers how you joined, and a verification code that submits itself
• Quick Start tiles now jiggle and drag to reorder, so your go-to workouts sit exactly where you want them
• Paused a cardio Quick Start? Pick it right back up with RESUME on screen or from the menu
• New accounts now start with no rest between sets
• Comment notifications take you straight to the comment they're about
• Milestones link back to the workout that earned them
• Choose whether your shared workout card shows the date, and emoji in story titles now render upright
• PumpIQ tells you what it's working on while it thinks, and reusing a superset number adds the exercise to that circuit

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-07

Pump 1.1.0 builds out the outdoor side of training and the way you share it.

GPS & CARDIO
• A full-screen experience for GPS activities, with your route behind the numbers
• Swipe between stats pages, and arrange the focus page to show what you care about
• Watch a replay of your route at the pace you actually ran it
• Live GPS metrics on Apple Watch and the Lock Screen
• More activities recognized, including sailing

SHARING & FEED
• Redesigned share cards for workouts and photos
• Add your own description to a post
• Sharing picks up where you left off if you leave the app mid-flow

SOCIAL
• Ask a friend for one of their workouts
• A fuller notification history, with follows you can act on in place

TRAINING
• See a live preview of a tempo while you edit it
• Clearer spoken cues, plus rest after an exercise and between sides
• Audio settings you can set per exercise
• Live calories during a set, and heart rate detail from any workout

Plus faster, more reliable uploads and a long list of fixes and polish.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-08-01

Pump 1.0.9 takes your training outdoors. Runs, rides, hikes and walks are tracked by GPS, drawn as a route on the finished session, and shared to your feed as a map.

OUTDOOR & CARDIO
• Track a run, ride, hike or walk with GPS — live distance, pace or speed, and elevation gain as you move
• Your route is recorded and drawn as a map on the workout and in the feed, and you can export it as a GPX file
• Measure any exercise by distance, calories, incline, resistance or floors, with a target per set — or leave the goal open and just move
• Pace and heart rate arrive on their own whenever the data exists
• A GPS-tracked session reads as an activity, with duration, distance, pace and climb instead of sets and reps
• Typed distances roll up into the workout total alongside the recorded route

ACTIVE WORKOUT
• The rest pill follows you anywhere in the app — drag it wherever you want it, and it stays put
• Lock the full-screen focus overlay so a stray touch can't pause your run; press and hold to unlock
• A short buzz confirms every set you log
• Range sets now ask for the reps you actually did, and record the goal if you skip it
• Superset rounds read correctly on the lock screen and the watch, with a segmented track showing your progress through the round
• Live heart rate on the timer overlay and the lock screen
• The workout list dissolves softly into its backdrop at the screen edges
• Confetti rises over your cards instead of behind them

APPLE WATCH
• Your watch records the calories you burned during the session
• Finish a paused tempo set right from the wrist, with the rep count you're about to log on screen before you tap
• Rings, numerals and captions scale to fit the smallest faces
• A rebuilt phone-to-watch connection keeps heart rate and workout state in sync through drop-outs, with a status screen when you need it

PHOTOS & FEED
• Post several photos to one workout, shown together with your route map
• Tap a photo to expand it in place, then pinch or double-tap to zoom
• Tap anyone's profile picture to see it full screen
• Recaps carry each set's tempo, so time under tension shows on the post

HISTORY & PROFILE
• History moved to your profile — a calendar beside your activities, always there even when you're offline
• The Volume card plots its bars per exercise instead of per session
• Workouts imported from Health skip sessions you already logged in Pump

PUMPIQ
• PumpIQ remembers your conversations — reopen an earlier thread from the chat history, or swipe one away
• Chat text is selectable and copyable
• Cardio goal edits stick, and PumpIQ sticks to the exercise details it actually has

SHARING
• Share the workout behind a feed post as a link, not only as a graphic
• Share cards, totals and the end-of-workout summary read in the weight unit you actually lift in — your Settings choice decides what every total is measured in
• The feed carries the unit a weight was logged in, so you always see the load someone really put on the bar

MORE
• Move an exercise straight to the top or bottom when reordering
• Save form cues from a how-to answer onto the exercise it describes
• The library knows which movements run the lift downward, and defaults to eccentric first
• Notes fields autocorrect as you type
• Attach several screenshots to a bug report, delete your own, and find out when a fix has actually reached you
• Faster loading throughout, plus fixes for crashes when pausing a ride, reordering a superset, and force-quitting mid-workout

### 1.0.8 — 2026-07-29

Pump 1.0.8 sharpens the active workout, adds a faster Quick Start, and brings a wave of Apple Watch and tempo refinements.

ACTIVE WORKOUT
• Set a Maximum Rest Time — a red stopwatch alert and a notification let you know when you go over, and your watch buzzes too
• The exercise name now appears on the weight, reps, rest, and duration keypads
• Media uploads with a real progress bar and time remaining
• Attached photos and videos now show on superset headers
• Tap either exercise name on a superset header to open its settings
• Show or hide weight for individual superset exercises
• The rest stopwatch now appears after warm-up sets too
• Deleting a set in a circuit cleanly drops that round's slot
• Pause a tempo, finish the exercise, and the reps you completed are still logged
• Quick half-step weight adjustments once an exercise goes off the standard grid

TEMPO
• "LAST REP" now reads as one large phrase on the full-screen tempo
• Isometric holds animate with a smooth, constant-length ribbon
• Eccentric First and Reverse Direction now appear on the Tempo screen

APPLE WATCH
• Resuming a paused tempo or timer replays the GET READY countdown
• The countdown ring sweeps smoothly instead of ticking once per second
• Timed holds count down to zero, just like rest
• Turn the crown to adjust weight by the 2.5 lb half-step when you're off the grid
• Calories are now captured on Apple Watch workouts
• The exercise name sits on its own row above your progress

PUMPIQ
• Smarter superset handling and clearer, how-to exercise descriptions
• Your conversation stays intact after you apply its suggestions during a workout
• Timed exercises it creates now start with a sensible default length

SOCIAL
• Tap a notification's photo to open that person's profile, or the message to jump straight to what it's about
• Tap the comment icon on a post to start writing a comment right away
• Runs now show pace, while rides show average speed

MORE
• A refreshed, more consistent look across buttons and controls
• Milestones now count only your in-app workouts
• Share Story centers the PUMP wordmark
• Exercise history follows your device's light or dark appearance
