Now there are a few PumpFuse ripoff’s available. Stick with the original, you won’t be disappointed! I have always wanted to be able to collect data on my sump pump run time for various reasons. This product came along, and I have been using it for two years and have collected so much data. It also gives you incredible insight on the precise power draw during each cycle so you can predict when problems are occurring. The hardware is excellent, and the app is absolutely perfect. I love this thing so much and you will too! ### 5/5 — Absolute must! *2025-04-22* I have three sump pumps for my drainage issues. Having the pump fuses along with this app is a must. Info is key and this system gives the info you need. The alert options are awesome! I highly recommend!! ### 5/5 — If you have a sump pump, you need this. *2025-04-15* This is app along with their PumpFuse monitor is what folks have been wanting for years. Not only does it tell you when, how long, and the amount of power used for each cycle, but you can set alerts to notify you when the pump fails, starts or stops and more. I just bought and connected a second monitor so I can now go to this single app to see how they are both performing. But most important to me is that I will now get a notification if my secondary pump cycles. Like I said, if you have a sump pump, don’t wait for the disaster to happen when it fails, get this and get notified when it’s about to or when it does. ### 5/5 — Peace of Mind *2025-04-05, version 1.17.121* PumpFuse has given me a lot of peace of mind. Now I know my sump's normal output and when I am away, I can check in on it. However, if there is a power outage and you are away from your own wifi, you won't be able to reconnect to the app when the power comes back on until you are home and on your own wifi again. This is annoying... not knowing if the power is on and the sump is working. I would love to see a line graph of the year and my sump's ups and downs over the course of that year. Gives me peace of mind knowing the sump pumps running when I’m not home. Very simple solution. The app is very straight forward. It allows you to see how often your pump goes on, how much power it uses each time, how long it was on each time and will even tell you if/when it fails where ever you are at! We moved into a new house about a year ago. From the beginning it was apparent our sump was draining a spring. After heavy rains it runs up to 5,000 times a day. Before getting this application my anxiety was intolerable because I had no idea on the condition of the pump. I now have a battery backup system and with Pump Fuse monitoring the primary pump I have data that I need to assess the situation. It shows every time your pump cycles and graphs the wattage of the pump cycle. The alert notifications work great. One thing I would suggest to show some sample graphs based on pump size of what a failing pump cycle might look like. Include some form of process of how to use the app to determine your pump health. This would then allow a user to replace the pump before it fails. ### 5/5 — I waited 25 years *2023-12-19* I’ve had a drainage system in my yard since 1998. The only way I knew for sure that my sump pump was operating — or even worked at all was to go out in the rain and look. I just updated my system and I decided to look for a device that I could use an app to monitor. I found just what I needed. They work as advertised and are amazing. There is only ONE major issue. In multi pump systems when you get an alert it doesn’t give you the pump name and you have to figure it out by clicking through all your pumps. Please fix the alerts to provide you with the pump name! **Developer response:** Thank you so much for the great feedback — we’re glad the system has been helpful! You’re absolutely right that this was inconvenient before. We’ve improved this behavior in an upcoming update (version 1.20.157, coming very soon). Now, when you tap on a push notification, the app will automatically open the correct pump/device directly, so you no longer need to click through multiple pumps to find the source of the alert. I could monitor the performance through the storm.] ### 5/5 — Great App *2026-07-09* Having just replaced an expensive sump pump which burned itself out due to a faulty float switch staying "on" even though the sump had been emptied, I wanted to find a device which would protect the replacement pump. PumpFuse comes highly reviewed and rated, so I gave it a try. I am totally impressed with the hardware and the associated iOS software for monitoring, alerting, and, if necessary, automatically disabling the pump if it is running dry for any length of time. As a retired electrical engineer with 40+ years of experience, my judgment is that they have included all the necessary and appropriate measurements and associated control logic to ensure reliable and accurate detection and loss prevention. The change log shows a very large and constant initiative to refine and improve their algorithms. The hardware device is also very nicely designed, has excellent Wi-Fi connectivity, it is totally automatic.
