## What is Punjabi Bolo?

Punjabi Bolo is the foundation that gives heritage learners the courage to speak Punjabi with their family.

This isn't an app that teaches Punjabi end to end, the family at the dinner table does that. What Punjabi Bolo does is hand the learner enough vocabulary, phrases, and pronunciation confidence to start the conversation, so when Nani asks how school went, there's an answer in Punjabi instead of silence.

Built for heritage learners who read English fluently but stumble when speaking Punjabi. Five minutes a day. On-device. No accounts.

Punjabi Bolo is an auto-renewing subscription service. New installs include a 3-day free trial; after the trial, an annual subscription of US$2.99 (or local equivalent) is required to continue using the app. There is no free tier beyond the trial, and there are no separate in-app purchases — every feature described below is included in the subscription.

Gurmukhi appears alongside transliteration, so you can find your footing either way.

Bolo, the parrot, is the patient tutor. He repeats a phrase as many times as it takes. He doesn't grade, he doesn't tire, and he doesn't move on until you're ready.
