### 4/5 — Cool Update??

*2022-06-05, version 2.3.7*

A cool thing you guys could do to make your app better is to make an option in the grades section to calculate the average, like all the grades would be shown and then there could be a button on the bottom saying “Calculate Average” and it would show us the average we would get quickly at the end of school years or semesters instead of the long process we have to do to on the calculator. I know the average would be shown regardless on report cards by our schools, but this could give us a better view at our grades and what we would get beforehand and how we could improve.

### 3/5 — App Extremely Buggy

*2021-09-12, version 2.3.6*

For an app that is necessary for students to see their grades and assignments it is vital that the app works in perfect condition. That’s sadly not that case with this app. When registering for an account, the app immediately crashes when you try to set a birthday, so you are forced to use the crappy website. The FaceID is also extremely buggy at times. I’ve had it where I log in with FaceID and it’s just blank. Also at times, the app is extremely slow. Please fix up these bugs as it is necessary for students.

### 3/5 — Please fix wrong details issue.

*2021-07-29, version 2.3.5*

I’ve been trying to login into pupil path. It’s seems everytimd I try to login it says wrong details although it isn’t. This has been going on for about a year or so. It’s a big frustrating. I use it to see my grades, credits, and emails. Although I can use it perfectly fine on the website. The app for me is easier for me to use and more accesible. The layout is much more simpler and clearer. It would be nice to access it right away. Other than this issue I really like the app. It worked perfectly before but now it doesn’t.

### 4/5 — First time using this app and I like it

*2020-09-22, version 2.3.4*

With the pandemic forcing schools to do distance learning, having an app like this makes it easy to track the class progress of my teen. She likes it too. I just received a text that took me to the app to tell me about her grades. Love that. We both would like the app to show the times of the class schedule by class and topic not just the period the class is in. Another recommendation is the simplifying the login for students since the app says to sign in with an email address but in the NYC public schools it is the Student ID that is required. Overall though, this is a good app.

### 3/5 — A few bugs and fixes

*2020-06-22, version 2.3.4*

Pupilpath is a great app that lets me check my grades from my classes. But there are a few bugs in this app.

When I get a reply from a teacher on the app, I can’t see the reply, I only see my email. This is really frustrating because then I have to go on the website and check.

Another bug is that when I check my grades, and my teacher just uploaded it, I get a notification 1-5 hours after they actually uploaded it. I want to know my grade as soon as it is uploaded.

Also, I can’t see my NY state test scores on the app, I have to go on the website to check them.

The last bug is that whenever I open the app, it shows my ID and my password, and I get a loading screen and then it takes me to the app. I don’t like this because I don’t want to see my ID and password every time I open the app.

A suggestion I have is to take away the range thing. (e.g. 85-90) I just want to know my real average for that course. I also want a GPA number on top of all the grades so I know my average for all of my courses.

If you fix all of these bugs, and add the last part to your app, this would be 100x better.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day.

### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2020-06-21, version 2.3.4*

I will be very honest here. This app is really only good for for seeing grades and contacting teachers.
I wish you were able to mail things out to more staff, like your guidance counselor. And no matter how many times I swipe, the messages in my inbox won’t delete. I have to go to the website and press select all and delete them. Even then not all of them delete.
I also don’t see the point of a schedule if it’s not going to tell you the times. Overall the website works better than the actual app.

### 3/5 — PupilPath

*2020-05-18, version 2.3.3*

PupilPath is an app that assigns homework and gives grades from teachers. But the thing is that the website is more better. In the app, I can’t submit the homework. In the old days I can’t receive mail from my teacher. But now, I could. The website is better for mails. The app works pretty well. In this app, I can’t see my work, but shows that I submit my work. I can’t even see files from teachers. The website has more options for mail, like bold, italics, underline, and even highlights or colored text. The thing is that in the website, when I delete it because I made a mistake, It won’t delete it. PupilPath needs better things. The website could change by letting me delete mail that I sent.

### 3/5 — PupilPath

*2020-04-15, version 2.3.2*

For the past couple of days the app won’t let me or my classmates even log in. It exits the app the second we press it or try to log on from our computers or tablets. We can still get notifications to see our grades but we can’t see our averages. Also if you try to submit an email to a teacher it will delete the email while you are typing it and will log out. It’s a great app overall, although sometimes it’s grades and averages are inaccurate.

### 3/5 — Hit or Miss

*2020-02-13, version 2.3.1*

Its been a hit or miss with my experience. When its working its great, I prefer using online browser vs app. I like getting the notifications, but when using the app you don’t know where or what the notification is when you get into the app. When you use the browser you don’t get the notification. So like I said hit or miss... another pet peeve is when you open mail thru the app, you don't get the attachment. When you get the email to your email address, you see the attachment but it isnt marked as read when you read it thru email on the app or thru browser.
The idea is great. But it has been having too many glitches. Wish it was more consistent.

### 3/5 — Improvements needed

*2019-12-05, version 2.3.0*

I like this app there are just a few problems with it. Number one, most of the time when I close the app and reopen it later me out! Witch os’s very annoying and stressful. Second thing is more of a suggestion, I was out sick and needed to see what my homework was and what time the classes started and ended (I’m not good at remembering that stuff) so I could text my friends for the homework assignment’s because pupil path doesn’t show me all my assignments only a select few. I’m not sure how to change/fix that or if it’s even possible. I also think that when you go to today view and it shows classes or souls spa what time the classes are at.

### 2/5 — Blank

*2019-10-31, version 2.3.0*

I was introduced to PupilPath last year 2018. For the most part It did the job as expected. For some strange reason the app no longer works for me. When I’m enter my log-in credentials I receive an error message “server not found” with a black screen. Even when I wait nothing happens. The odd part is my daughter has the same exact phone as me and the app works perfectly fine on her phone. The school suggested I delete the app from my device then reinstall. I’m about to try the suggestion. I hope it works because I found the app very help in keeping up with my daughter classes. Issues I faced during the time the app was up and functional. The email communication doesn’t work well in any way. I suggest maybe have a chat option rather than email. Maybes something similar to ClassDojo. They have mastered communication. Cumulative grades aren’t accurate. I can’t think of the other issues right now. Thank you

### 4/5 — Hmmm...

*2019-10-29, version 2.3.0*

hello I’m an student that uses PupilPath at school. I really like the app but the only thing wrong with it is notifications. I accidentally pressed no when they asked me if I wanted it. So I went to settings on my iPad and I pressed notifications on. So I went back to the app to find out that I couldn’t turn them on. So please fix this because I get my report card on Friday and I’ll be absent so...

### 3/5 — It’s Very Glitchy

*2019-10-19, version 2.3.0*

PupilPath is a good app for students to check grades but it has so many glitches and I hope they update their app soon. I really dislike the fact I have to sign in every-time I open the app and how the app doesn’t allow me to see my grades by saying “Service Error.” This isn’t a good look since it’s clearly showing me that downloading this app isn’t worth it if they can’t even show you your grades. I have the IOS app and I hope you guys fix the glitches the app is giving.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — So Annoying!!

*2021-09-02, version 2.3.6*

I just started using this app and the first day on using it I can’t even login it tells me that I have the wrong login credentials or something. I restarted my phone, deleted the app, redownloaded the app, closed all tabs, closed all websites on safari, tried logging into another device, completely erased the app from iCloud, brought it back, tried logging in on website, changed my password, tried registering again, and I could go on and on and on. It doesn’t work at all! They have to fix these bugs and glitches it’s so annoying.

### 1/5 — Malfunctional Login Never Fixed

*2021-07-23, version 2.3.5*

I’ve been dealing with my correct log in information being marked wrong in the app for 5 years. It’s been 5 years, and the problem has yet to be fixed. If the log in works on all other browsers and devices, it should work on the app too. It’s been 5 years. I’m tired of not being allowed to log in when I most need it. Fix the problem. I usually understand in these cases. We are all human, so mistakes are inevitable and understandable. Making no attempt to solve any issue, however, is not understandable. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of students rely on your app. There is an entire team to work on your app. I don’t think it takes more than 5 years for an entire team to fix a bug. I’m not the only one who has been affected by this.

### 1/5 — Grades

*2021-04-08, version 2.3.4*

Hate it as a student my self I hate it I got a 13/25 and I had a grade of 85 and it brought it to 51 hate this app with my whole heart why are these grades showing up from the last marking period like wth it’s getting me more stress and my parents are telling me why I got this low it’s not even the right average it’s so different then the ones they give in school fix this pupil path they school district should find another app for grades or give us the average themselves it’s getting students more stress out about school

### 1/5 — How setting up a account is hard

*2020-12-01, version 2.3.4*

Setting up an account is like trying to build a tower all by your self when I finished setting up my account o went to login so i typed in my email and password and clicked login and it did not work so I tried copying and paste but It did not work as well and my teacher need us to have an account so I changed my password for like 3-6 times already so I gave up and asked my friend to do it on a computer and it worked so you have to do it on a computer.

### 1/5 — Too easy and boring

*2019-06-19, version 2.3.0*

I’m student who is having trouble in keeping up with their grades. When I logged into to the application. I immediately wanted to check my grades and close the application. I speak for the people who want to make grades feel something positive on what to improve on. My suggestions is to make the app more interesting, example I would like to see videos of students accomplishments. For student to feel motivated into thinking class is more than having grades but for the honors, experience and challenging. Make an online chat with teachers and student. Make more educational online games. To challenge other student and keeps us more focus on completing a task. I feel that’s would be interesting.

### 1/5 — Rather use its webpage

*2019-01-06, version 2.2.3*

The amount of bugs on this app is immediately off putting not to mention irritating. Ever single time the app is opened, there is a “server communication error” message, automatically signing me out, and forcing me to relog in. Various times a teacher would attach a link onto their message, and the link doesn’t appear. It takes less time to open safari and go to pupilpath there compared to this app. These bugs should’ve been fixed long ago, but there seems to be no signs of it being improved anytime soon.

### 2/5 — Major bugs

*2022-06-22, version 2.3.7*

When I first got this app it was working fine and well but it would log me out randomly and when I would log back in it was say it’s wrong when I could copy and paste it from my notes when it was they same exact password from before.

I deleted the app and re downloaded it to see if it would start working again but everything was just blank it didn’t say my School id or my school name nor my term all of it was just blank I reregistered and put my school Id and my school name but it just stayed blank I couldn’t see my grades either.

### 2/5 — Please Help Me

*2021-06-03, version 2.3.4*

Please fix some bugs. There’s a lot of them and one of them causes me to not even be able to access my account. I never changed my password but one day it just stops working. It just keeps saying that my log in details are incorrect. When I try to reset my password, it doesn’t send me the email. So I decided to try and resistor my account again and it send me an email that tells me that I already have an account and to verify the email I inserted. Whenever I verify my email and make a new password, that pass never works. This is weird cause I’ve always just been automatically logged in whenever I opened the app. It usually takes me straight to my account but now it I can’t even access it. I’m very confused and unsure how to fix this.

### 2/5 — Problems

*2019-11-21, version 2.3.0*

We all know how useful and necessary this app is to parents, students and teachers but there are so many problems that has not been addressed for years. I have the app for 4 years now and just recently added my 2nd child to it. Besides having the SAME continuous problems as stated in your reviews even as long as 2 years ago which are user/password info getting rejected, shuts down for no reason, service errors, not getting notifications, etc my newest issue is that I cannot email a teacher. Whenever I hit new email icon in the mail section of your app, it just shuts down. My children’s teachers email are linked to pupil path. This a huge inconvenience and it should not happen!!!!! Fix your app already!!!!!

### 2/5 — Need to do better

*2019-11-20, version 2.3.0*

I have children in different schools and each used PupilPath, however, I only logon to one account. When I try to login to the other I get kicked out of the app. When I tried to sign in for my daughter it prompted me to reset my password saying that the current one was incorrect. It also will not recognize the email used to register. I cannot see notifications or assignments in the app although I receive them on my phone. As the app of choice for most schools it is not very productive for students and parents.

You need to do better.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-02-06, version 2.3.7*

This app is the very best thing to use in order to see your grades. It shows a display of your averages and it also shows your attendance. This app deserves a five star rating for its organization and information. It’s the most incredible app to have when viewing grades!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2020-12-11, version 2.3.4*

I really like this app, before I went on safari to search up PupilPath and it was annoying. Now I have been using this app for almost 2 years. I just downloaded it on my iPhone but I had the app on my iPad for 2 years. Every time I want to know if I am passing or failing my class I open the app and I know right away. I don’t have to ask my teacher for the grades and it safes a lot of time.

### 5/5 — Good app for students and parents 💖

*2020-05-26, version 2.3.3*

This lets me keep up with my grade to see if I need to do better or keep up my good work for each class. It also helps my parents keep up with my grades I’ve been using this for a long time and it really helped me. I’m about to graduate high school and when I go to college I am gonna use this app no questions ask thank you for making my life successful.

### 5/5 — PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE TO THE APP ‼️

*2020-05-08, version 2.3.3*

the app is good , but a feature that really needs to be added is when you get graded , you can comment on the grade that you get . For example you get a 50 on a quiz or test you can press the grade and then there should be a comment section where you can ask your teacher questions about why you got that grade or what you need to improve on , i think it’ll help communication with students and teachers a lot better than emailing them through the email option , since the comment section would be very quick and not a long wait between responses .

### 5/5 — Great App with some educational exceptions.

*2020-03-13, version 2.3.1*

Unfortunately in this day and age you have parents that are not computer or application savvy. It would be helpful to those parents of guardians if this app came with either a brief multi lingual tutorial or instructions to help this persons quickly learn how to navigate the app or speedily find certain grade or sections.

### 5/5 — pupilpath - ding dong

*2020-01-19, version 2.3.1*

im a student who uses pupilpath myself. i rely pretty heavily on it and i really like it. however, as stated by multiple people the bugs need to be fixed. in september and october of 2019 pupilpath was literally causing so many issues, even my teachers had trouble using it. it was fixed but it still occurred and is one of my examples. another examples is every time i clicked out of pupilpath, i was logged out and i had to sign in every time. this was very annoying and didn’t get fixed at all despite my many efforts. i tried deleting the app and restarting my phone but to no avail. this didn’t get fixed until i got a new phone. these are just small examples of things i went through, despite all that i enjoy using this app and check my grades regularly.

### 5/5 — Easy to check my grades

*2019-11-29, version 2.3.0*

As a student I use this all the time to check my grades and what I have to do for hw. I recommend this app to anyone that’s a student. But there is one thing on the app the creators can improve on. There are some slight glitches every once in a while. Otherwise keep on doing what you are doing.

### 5/5 — Great way to keep track of your kids performance

*2019-09-20, version 2.3.0*

We really like the idea of having the ability to keep up to speed with was going on in our girl’s school life and also communicate with all the school personnel in one place. The only thing that could be debugged is the Touch ID signing feature, otherwise, excellent app.

### 5/5 — Hi

*2019-03-29, version 2.2.3*

So I have used this app for almost 2years (my school does)and it has helped me calculate my overall averages before any parent teacher conference which makes me more confident of what I will be expecting! Also, teachers and parents can find teacher’s email to reach each other for any issues.I would highly recommend this app to be used by all schools!!!👌🏻

### 5/5 — Excellent, useful, easy to use and very helpful!

*2019-02-09, version 2.2.3*

As parents of a bright, very active and creative 14-year-old boy in 9th grade of a public school in NYC, we have used PupilPath for Apple iOS for about six months with great satisfaction. It allows us to track our son’s progress in school quite closely and very effectively. Moreover, it has been quite invaluable to ensure that work is assigned, that studies are completed, that the homework is performed on time, that our son is well aware of upcoming tests and assignments. Quite frankly, we really depend upon PupilPath and we cannot imagine how we ever got along without it before. PupilPath is really excellent, useful, easy to use and it is extremely helpful! We highly recommend PupilPath to all teachers, parents, and students. Have your school embrace PupilPath.
