## What is Pupu Quest?

Learn to read kanji while going on an adventure with Pupu.
Pupu’s Adventure is a kanji learning app for elementary school students that makes studying feel like playing a game. Run, choose the correct answer, and progress through stages — before you know it, you’ll be able to read kanji naturally.

Why focus on “reading” first?:
Understanding how to read kanji helps children grasp meanings and build stronger word associations. Developing reading skills expands vocabulary, which naturally leads to improved writing ability. This app is designed with a reading-first approach to make learning more effective and approachable.

Learn naturally through words:
Kanji are learned through common word combinations, allowing children to connect meaning and pronunciation together. By learning kanji in context, both onyomi and kunyomi readings can be acquired naturally.

Features:
- Includes all kanji taught from Grade 1 to Grade 6 — completely free to learn
- Learning design focused specifically on kanji reading skills
- Adventure-style gameplay that keeps children motivated
- Short play sessions perfect for small pockets of time

Recommended for children who:
- Struggle with reading kanji
- Have difficulty staying focused on studying
- Love games
- Learn best while having fun

For parents:
The app is designed to encourage natural repetition through play. Our goal is to help children steadily master the kanji taught in elementary school without pressure.
