The app stops at checking for content update…. Please fix this I would really like to use it on the go instead of taking my computer with me.. thanks in advance

I have an iPhone 13 Pro. When opening app, it freezes at the You Visit screen with the words “checking for content updates”. It doesn’t actually update but freezes at that point. 

Could it be that the app is not compatible with the iPhone?
