## What is Pure Milano?

Pure Milano gives you access to a constantly updated database on architecture and the arts in Milan. It is the ultimate reference tool for tourists, academics, students, architects, and all those interested in the great variety and quality of architecture that the city of Milan has to offer.

All the stunning, high-resolution black and white photographs are by photographer Sosthen Hennekam and look particularly good on iPad or Mac.


Features:

- Search by name, architect, artist, art, address, style, year, function, or a combination of search words.

- Select a building on the map and follow the directions to get there.

- All buildings are geo-localised, with the 'around me' function you can find nearby buildings on the map.

- Categories include villas, condominiums, office buildings, churches, public spaces, monuments, graves, parks, factories and more.

- Images can be enlarged to better appreciate building details.

- Select and save your favourites. View them in a list or on a separate map, so you can create your own itinerary (available in the PLUS and PRO versions).

- Take notes for each building and you will be able to create a customised list and map (available in the PLUS and PRO version).

-Select your language (Italian, English, French)

Available versions:

- The free version gives access to 100 buildings and monuments, related by info and photos.

- The PLUS version (one time in-app purchase) gives access to over 2000 buildings and monuments with info and photos. In addition, you can save your favourites and take notes for each of the items you are interested in.

- The PRO version (one time in-app purchase) offers all PLUS functions and gives access to the complete database with over 9000 buildings.

Future updates of the database, such as new photos, new buildings etc. are included.

A great app born out of a passion for architecture and research. A fantastic resource for architects and tourists alike. More cities should benefit from the same level of attention and thoroughness. The team also worked hard to solve a bug following an iOS update, even if it was a minor thing and seemingly only affected me. Buy this app, support good ideas and passionate people.

I contenuti di questa app sono fantastici, una vera e propria enciclopedia sulle architetture milanesi. Ho fatto l’upgrade e merita davvero!! Unica cosa che non mi piace è il fatto di dover tornare indietro una volta visualizzata la scheda. Esempio sto guardando un edificio di Gio Ponti e devo tornare indietro per selezionarne un altro, sarebbe bello invece continuare a SWIPARE a destra e vederne un’altra architettura e così via.

Finalmente una fantastica iniziativa che permette di apprezzare tantissime architetture, più o meno famose! Molto valida anche per scoprire edifici poco conosciuti o per vedere con un occhio diverso qualche edificio a cui magari non abbiamo dato molto peso in passato. Trovo utilissimo il sistema di ricerca che permette di filtrare con tante diverse possibilità!

Se siete curiosi di conoscere quello che magari avete sotto gli occhi a Milano tutti i giorni, quest’app è perfetta. Stile minimale e rilassante nella consultazione, è fatta molto bene. Vale i soldi che costa, considerando che una bella guida non costa di meno e qui il lavoro è stato veramente notevole. Sarebbe ancora più bella ci fosse opportunità di renderla collaborativa con contributi degli utenti.
