## What is Pure Tone?

Pure Tone plays a clean, steady tone at the frequency you choose, with big text and big buttons that anyone can use.

ONE-TAP PRESETS
• 3k, 8k, 17.4k and 20k with a single tap
• Or type any whole frequency from 20 to 20000 Hz on a large keypad

EASY FOR EVERYONE
• Extra-large Play and Stop buttons and a clear "Playing" / "Stopped" status
• High-contrast design with Dark Mode support
• Fits on small iPhones such as iPhone SE
• Remembers your last frequency

CLEAN, UNINTERRUPTED SOUND
• Pure sine wave with a smooth fade-in and fade-out, so there are no clicks or pops
• Changing the frequency goes through silence instead of sweeping, so you only hear the tone you picked
• Pauses music and videos from other apps while playing
• Keeps the screen awake while playing
• Built-in tips for turning on Do Not Disturb or Silent Mode, so alerts don't interrupt

SPEAKERS AND HEADPHONES
• Plays through Bluetooth speakers and headphones in high quality
• Shows where the sound is coming from, with a button to switch outputs
• Stops automatically if headphones or a speaker disconnect, so it never blasts from the iPhone speaker by surprise

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No ads, no accounts, no tracking. Pure Tone doesn't collect any data.

Available in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Please note: Pure Tone is not a medical device and does not test or diagnose hearing. Many adults can't hear very high tones such as 17.4 kHz or 20 kHz, and some speakers can't play them. Keep the volume at a comfortable level.
