(feb 22). Can the developers come out and declare whether there is the intent to support TEVI? Or the app is only for the newer products. Maybe they don’t have the tech or programming to work with this app? Bit of a shame it doesn’t work but it’s not an essential app to have, ear buds still work fine and you can always play with the EQ settings in Music on an iPhone if you need to fine tune sound. ### 1/5 — Not working *2021-08-25, version 1.4.0* Buds are connected long before, but still the app cannot detect it. (I’m in iPhone 14 Pro Max). LDX audio is alright and good if you don’t take the time to set up your own sound freq. profiles. Hear through is mostly useless but if it’s available, sure, use it. It would be nice if it stayed on when you hit pause. The find my headphones feature should be mandatory for all devices. My Z7 is back to its best performance. ### 5/5 — Greatly improved App corrects sound presets *2022-07-22, version 1.4.4* I originally wrote that the app had an incorrect flat/original preset, and that the ear buds’ sound out of the box was atrocious. The latest app + firmware update has finally corrected this - the presets have been tweaked, and the flat sound signature sounds balanced now. Excellent sound on excellent ear buds. ### 5/5 — Best headphones support app *2022-07-21, version 1.4.4* I regularly use the Z3, the LG TONE Free FN6 and FP5, and the Sennheiser CX True Wireless. Of all the three apps, the PureControl is the best, with classy look, snappy buttons, smooth transitions and excellent EQ control, with two manual EQ and six presets that drastically change the sound to your need. There is also the unique LDX audio button that adds steroid to the sound, which is a truly unique feature. In comparison, the EQ of the Sennheiser Smart Control app is laggy, with only three bands, and the TONE Free app takes a while to start, without the nice loading icon that PureControl has. ### 5/5 — With the recent patch, app works great. *2021-09-01, version 1.4.0* Using Lypertek Tevi’s(AKA Pureplay Z3), the app works like a charm. I had no issues with the app recognizing my Tevi’s. Equalizer settings work with my Tevi’s even when the app is closed. The new Lypertek app version is excellent — the equaliser allows me to tune the sound very well, the custom EQ settings appear to stick when I next use the earphones whether the app is open or not, and now there are two custom EQ presets, which is really useful — for me that means a subtle EQ tweak for listening in a quiet space, and a more V-shaped EQ for listening while I walk the dog. ### 5/5 — Solid app *2021-03-17* About as much as you would need in an app for wireless earbuds. Sound config is nice but haven’t played around with it too much. I had no problem connecting my earbuds to the app with the buds already connected to my phone; however i do believe it requires both earbuds to do so.
