To offer the safest browsing experience and best iOS integration, we make use of the iOS Screen Time restrictions. With the help of an accountability partner, friend, or family member, you can ensure that restrictions cannot be bypassed.

SAFE BROWSING IN SAFARI
Purified Porn Filter runs as a plugin in Safari and doesn’t slow down the browser. Since the browsing filter technology only works within Safari, we strongly recommend removing other apps and browsers that may be used to access inappropriate content. Once those apps are removed, by using iOS restrictions, the installation of other apps can be prevented and a safe browsing experience can be maintained.

The Purified Porn Blocker app is available as a free download. You can try the app with a free 7-day trial period. Ongoing use requires an active subscription, available on a monthly or yearly basis. Yearly subscriptions are billed the total annual fee at the time of purchase. Monthly subscription users billed per month.

SUBSCRIPTIONS & TERMS
Purified requires an active subscription. We offer two subscription options:
• Monthly with a 7-day trial
• Annual with a 7-day trial

You will not be charged until the free trial has expired. On the last day of the free trial period, unless you canceled your subscription, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee. All subscriptions automatically renew if it is not canceled within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for the next subscription period up to 24 hours prior to the current subscription expiring. It is not possible to cancel an existing in-app subscription. You can disable the automatic renewal function at any time by adjusting your account settings.

The instructions tell you to use screen time to limit adult content in order to “keep the app from being shut off.” That is not at all what screen time does. Furthermore setting up Screen Time to do that means that iOS is blocking the content, not this app. It does precisely nothing.

The filter is a bit too broad and blocks a lot of innocent sites and even blocks searches for resources. If you search “combatting porn addiction” the filter blocks that. Its well thought out. Not sure I would pay money for something that takes away too much normal functionality.
