Purrge is a beautifully designed app for staying on top of your ever growing photo library. The app takes full advantage of simple swipe, drag, and flick gestures to make deleting pictures easy, fast, and (dare we say) enjoyable. 

Grid View: Select photos one at a time or select multiple photos at once by swiping across. 

Single Photo View: Swipe up to delete. Swipe back and forth between photos to determine which photos you want to purge from your library. Shake to undo!

Today View Widget: Keep an eye on your photo count when you're not using the app.

Bought the app. Screen was all black as soon as I allowed access to camera roll. Then it finally works and it is just the same as the Photos app. This is wrongfully advertised that it is more helpful to declutter than the regular photos app but in reality it is thE SAME THING only with a picture of a cat when they ask do you want to delete. Stupid. Give me my money back.

Select all photos —> delete all. 

With 5000 photos and a refusal to live under the iCloud tyranny, auto-uploading your photos to OneDrive/Plex/whatever, then deleting them off your phone is the only way to operate.

Funktioniert sehr gut, ich synce meine Fotos immer auf mein NAS und möchte danach aber ein paar Highlights behalten.

Dann benutze ich Purge um ab und zu etwas aufzuräumen.

Verbesserung: es wäre gut, wenn man Favoriten von der Sicht ausnehmen könnte oder sie hervorgehoben würden.

Idea for improvment: Highlight Favorites in the list or even give the option to exclude them from the purge view as for many they may be no candidates to be purged.

This isn’t really helping me get the job done any after and it’s missing a couple key features that would really help...
- if you know a photo is also going to be deleted from an album then show me the pic and give me the option not to delete it. I mean I probably placed it in an album cuz I liked it so I’d like the option to selectively confirm or deny deletion of its in an album as opposed to a warning and a yes/no to everything 

- it’s going to take a few passes to get through 10,500 photos... why not bookmark where I got to on the last pass? It not likely I’ll be doing this in one sitting nor am I likely to remember where I was when I stopped.

- Today View Widget. Can't get enough swiping? Neither could we. Swipe like a cat ninja down from the top of your phone (no matter where you are) and check out how many photos are in your camera roll + recently deleted. Requires a little bit of effort on your part -- you've gotta install the widget. Do it!
- Select All. You asked for it. Kitty-kaboom! All your photos gone in one fell swipe.
- Recently Deleted Count. A little nudge instructing you on how to empty the litter box (aka "recently deleted") Because space.  
- Vote on Down Swipes. The o-purr-tunity to vote on a future feature. What the fancy feast should swipe-downs do? Just swipe down in individual photo view to vote. 
- Sharing. So, you're purrging happily and, all of a sudden, you come across a photo of yourself that is purrty amazing. You wanna share it, don't you? Heck yes, you do. Tap the share button in the bottom right in individual photo view. And we don't even brand the share. Because you're worth it.
