With 5000 photos and a refusal to live under the iCloud tyranny, auto-uploading your photos to OneDrive/Plex/whatever, then deleting them off your phone is the only way to operate. ### 4/5 — Sehr coole App um aufzuräumen, wenn man einen Teil behalten will *2018-07-22, version 1.1.0* Funktioniert sehr gut, ich synce meine Fotos immer auf mein NAS und möchte danach aber ein paar Highlights behalten. Verbesserung: es wäre gut, wenn man Favoriten von der Sicht ausnehmen könnte oder sie hervorgehoben würden. —— Idea for improvment: Highlight Favorites in the list or even give the option to exclude them from the purge view as for many they may be no candidates to be purged. ### 2/5 — Just OK *2018-01-14, version 1.1.0* This isn’t really helping me get the job done any after and it’s missing a couple key features that would really help... - if you know a photo is also going to be deleted from an album then show me the pic and give me the option not to delete it. I mean I probably placed it in an album cuz I liked it so I’d like the option to selectively confirm or deny deletion of its in an album as opposed to a warning and a yes/no to everything - it’s going to take a few passes to get through 10,500 photos... why not bookmark where I got to on the last pass? It not likely I’ll be doing this in one sitting nor am I likely to remember where I was when I stopped. ### 1/5 — Doesn't Delete Anything *2016-12-24, version 1.1.0* If you have a LOT of photos, this doesn't work. I have 25,000 photos on my phone that I am trying to get rid of and this was NOT the solution. It can delete 1 photo or a dozen with no problem. But you can do that easily with the photo app. If you try to delete thousands of photos with the app, it just freezes and does nothing. Obviously the testers at CNET never bother to test this with a very LARGE photo library. One common use case: I have tons of screenshots! Most of them are just one time used photos so I usually have to go to the screenshot album and delete the newly added photos. (I realized that if I delete a photo in albums that are create by me, they are actually not deleted but 'removed' from the album... It might cause some problem? Then it finally works and it is just the same as the Photos app. This is wrongfully advertised that it is more helpful to declutter than the regular photos app but in reality it is thE SAME THING only with a picture of a cat when they ask do you want to delete. I couldn’t even download the update as there wasn’t enough room. Plus I didn’t want all the photos and videos. Then I found Purrge and within 15 minutes of finding the app, I was updating my iPhone.
