## What is PursueCare RESET?

Recovery can be a challenging, ongoing process - especially in between therapy sessions, when you may not have access to a counselor or doctor but still need support. RESET-O® is a Prescription Digital Therapeutic—a new type of therapy prescribed by doctors designed to help with treatment. It works in conjunction with buprenorphine medication assisted therapy (MAT), and lets you continue the work you’re doing in recovery on your smartphone or tablet. You can build new skills and get support—anytime, anywhere.

RESET-O® is a 12-week prescription digital therapeutic for patients with opioid use disorder who are in outpatient treatment. It provides cognitive behavioral therapy, as an adjunct to outpatient treatment that includes transmucosal buprenorphine and contingency management, for patients who are currently under the supervision of a clinician. RESET-O® is the only FDA-authorized prescription digital therapeutic that’s clinically proven to help people with opioid use disorder stay in treatment longer (1,2).

Important Safety Information

Warnings/precautions: Do not use RESET-O® to communicate any emergency, urgent or critical information. RESET-O® does not include features that can send alerts or warnings to your clinician. If you have feelings or thoughts of harming yourself or others, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. RESET-O® is intended for patients whose primary language is English or Spanish, who have access to a compatible tablet or smartphone and are familiar with the use of smartphone applications (apps). You should be able to upload data periodically, i.e., have internet/wireless connection access. RESET-O® requires you to enter a user name and password prior to use. Please do not share your user name and password with others. RESET-O® may contain and transmit protected health information and/or personally identifiable information. RESET-O® is not intended to be used as stand-alone therapy for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and does not replace care by your provider. RESET-O® is not a substitute for your medications. You should continue to take your medications as directed by your provider. 

The long-term benefit of RESET-O® has not been evaluated in studies lasting beyond 12 weeks (84 days) in the OUD population. The ability of RESET-O® to prevent potential relapse after therapy discontinuation has not been studied. Please see the Patient Brief Summary Instructions for RESET-O® in the app.

I downloaded the app via Apple Store, but with both this and the pear reSET (original) app, there is no way to update it. The message shows promoting an update, but the button to do so does not appear.

Used to hit $5, and up to $20 on spins but the last few months nothing any more! And now I can’t even use it. I’m on an Apple device it says it needs an update however it’s updated already and still won’t launch because of this it gets a 1 star! I’d gladly update this once I can use it again!

I cannot open the app. It says to update app to continue and It is updated. Also when the “prescription” is needed to be refilled what does that mean I cannot use the app anymore.

This app started off so strong, I completed my lessons and won up to $30 one week but then it just went totally downhill. They tricked you by making the wheel disappear when it was about to land on your prize so you couldn’t see what you were getting and then it just kept giving me all badges and no prizes. So then they went bankrupt and someone else supposedly bought it but when I go to the app it says it needs updated and there is no way to update it. So not a good start for the new “update” lol.

I loved the program and won some money in the beginning for doing the lessons. Well the last few months I only won badges and I’ve won all the badges and completed 100% of the lessons to come to find out the reason that I stopped winning money and only received badges and now the program isn’t even working at all is because they went bankrupt and it’s too bad cause it was a really great program.

This app did not do anything for me. If I wanted to study for a test, then this would be a great app. I don’t need to take a test on my drug usage I need to actually have some help. Yes, I know the repetition style that this app follows works or they say it works for some people, but I have no idea how. As far as only winning money on the first two or three spins, did you honestly think that they are going to hand people money all the time? No. They want you to follow your “addictive“ behavior by luring you to take more of their “tests“ in the hope that you’ll receive financial compensation for it. Basically, instead of chasing a dope high you’re now chasing a money high by passing their tests and hoping that your spin will give you money. The reason they repeat everything is that they know people are skimming through and just want to get to the end so they can take that spin on the wheel. Then, you might remember a few things because you repeated it 25 times. Like I said, it’s great if you’re taking a test but we’re not taking a test on issues we are already aware of. People are complaining that it’s “not fair“ and they want to give their family money by using this app maybe -you should find an alternative way to make money. I doubt there is any app that’s going to give you $50 or $250 just because you read through and took a bunch of tests. I used this app for the time it was prescribed and of course I won actual money on the first few spins, but then only one stars and stickers afterwards. So as I will repeat myself again (in homage to this app) you will only win the first few times and then you will be chasing a money high instead of a dope high The entire concept would be better if it were truly personalized to your own experience. Everything, is extremely general and we already know that we should be making good choices and not using. Again, if you were studying for a test in school, this would be a fantastic way to get people the knowledge they need in a scholastic manner, but not in a true to life situation. 

I do hope that is helps people as we need all the help we can get.
