But after my phone updated I can’t use the app. It says a download of the current version is available to push the download button but I don’t see any download button. I can’t update the app from App Store either. Help!! I need to use the app ### 2/5 — Update problem *2023-07-16, version 1.15.0* I cannot open the app. It says to update app to continue and It is updated. Also when the “prescription” is needed to be refilled what does that mean I cannot use the app anymore. ### 3/5 — Wish it didn’t go bankrupt *2023-07-01, version 1.15.0* I loved the program and won some money in the beginning for doing the lessons. Well the last few months I only won badges and I’ve won all the badges and completed 100% of the lessons to come to find out the reason that I stopped winning money and only received badges and now the program isn’t even working at all is because they went bankrupt and it’s too bad cause it was a really great program. ### 3/5 — Updated review rewards are kinda fixed *2022-08-09, version 1.12.2* Well what to say, the first 180 days I’ve won so many $5-$20 rewards on spin, but it seems like that the program knows how many more refills you have, I have no more refills now and I have not won a single $5 reward in over 6 weeks, it’s such a bummer bc I was using gift cards to pay for my mom or girlfriend out to eat at places like ihops… I can understand not hitting a rewards in a couple or few weeks but cmon, 6 weeks and before that I only won $5 in the 4 weeks prior, so in all I am so unsatisfied and cannot wait for the prescription to run out so I don’t have to deal with any disappointments, I know it isn’t all about the rewards but it was nice to give back to family and friends, it made me feel good about myself. Now it’s just frustrating me, therefore I feel like the rewards system is fixed, when your a brand new user you win a lot more but when they know your script is expiring for good, you get zip ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2022-07-19, version 1.11.1* When my doctor mentioned it I thought it would be great. What better way to help rewire my brain and win rewards? I’ve only one the initial sign up gift card, the rest has been badges. I’ve only done like 7, so many it’ll get better. It also repeats a lot of questions which just confuses your brain too. ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2022-05-18, version 1.11.1* So I’ve been using this app for MAT since August 2021 at the beginning it was great! I would win gift cards regularly mostly $5 occasionally $20 and one time on my birthday I won $100! Once I completed all the lessons and went into review mode I rarely win anything and if I do (maybe once every 10 spins) it’s $5. Definitely not random or your algorithm is not working accordingly. Please take a look at your spin system and it could use some video updates and new lessons as well. ### 1/5 — Show me the money *2022-05-09, version 1.11.1* So wow for Mother’s Day I got two stickers and five dollars and a thumbs up, does anybody else win more than five dollars when we are listening to all the lessons intently and getting 100% or doing it quickly makes no difference and I think it is about the money because it’s lengthy and I want a lot of make up because I don’t have any I was so excited to start this and now I just get mad at it really!! ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2022-04-22, version 1.11.0* Ever since the APP did its new update my screen is white after it loads, nothing shows up!! What am I supposed to do? ### 2/5 — Grammar *2022-02-24, version 1.10.0* My grammar is not the best but please fix it. It’s terrible. Some sentences make no sense and when you put the proper word in it counts it as incorrect. ### 1/5 — Adrussell *2022-01-10, version 1.9.0* This is a joke! They will say your prescription has expired and when you go through speaking with at least 4 or 5 employees and giving the same insurance information over and over they will make up some other reason your app is not working. I gave all me insurance info. When I signed up. I only was able to use this for 5 weeks. Then I give my information again and again. The dr office call them they get the run around too. The prescription has been submitted but they say it’s under review. This has gone on for months. I just give up! It’s not worth the aggravation! Deleted the app! I am not the only one because half of the clinic is fed up. I’m just tired of being lied too. I’m done with the headache! I will make sure my insurance company doesn’t pay them another dime. ### 1/5 — Bad program *2021-12-24, version 1.9.0* Reward wheel is fixed I’ve got like 80 stickers in a row ### 3/5 — Technical Issues….more often than not. *2021-10-15, version 1.8.0* I’ve been having a ton of technical issues. I wasn’t into the app much in the beginning and finally started sticking with it and checking in regularly and now I’ve had every bit of 6-10 phone calls back and forth with support in the last month or two. The last issue took 3 weeks to resolve/hear back from someone. After that I had given up on it and quit doing it again for awhile because I was over it and wasn’t hearing back. Now I’ve been using it again for not quite 2 weeks and here we are again waiting for another issue to be resolved. I have not gotten a gift card yet with my rewards and have been saving them for months and finally decided that I wanted to and suddenly there’s an issue with rewards. Its not allowing me to do anything or get a gift card. A message came up saying issues on our end if it’s still doing this for 30 minutes to contact support. I called 2 days ago and she talked as if it would be fixed in no time. I called back yesterday to check in on it after 24 hours and they told me that the support team still hasn’t even addressed the issue. Now we are on day 2, still having the same error message, and still haven’t heard anything. I will say, all the women who answer the phones or I have interacted with have all been extremely nice and have great customer service skills. I just think whoever is on the support team that is supposed to be fixing these issues that are conveyed to them are clearly in no rush to get these problems resolved. I could understand a few days but a few weeks? A bit much. The app overall has potential and really be helpful to some, but there’s an overwhelming amount of technical issues. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Update Not Working *2024-02-25, version 1.15.0* I downloaded the app via Apple Store, but with both this and the pear reSET (original) app, there is no way to update it. The message shows promoting an update, but the button to do so does not appear. ### 1/5 — Awful *2023-09-20, version 1.15.0* Used to hit $5, and up to $20 on spins but the last few months nothing any more! And now I can’t even use it. I’m on an Apple device it says it needs an update however it’s updated already and still won’t launch because of this it gets a 1 star! It is pretty upsetting! ### 1/5 — app is horrible *2023-07-20, version 1.15.0* i don't see a place where i can just tap and it will update for me? why can't i update my app ? ### 1/5 — Total Failure *2023-07-06, version 1.15.0* This app started off so strong, I completed my lessons and won up to $30 one week but then it just went totally downhill. They tricked you by making the wheel disappear when it was about to land on your prize so you couldn’t see what you were getting and then it just kept giving me all badges and no prizes. So then they went bankrupt and someone else supposedly bought it but when I go to the app it says it needs updated and there is no way to update it. So not a good start for the new “update” lol. ### 1/5 — Not for me *2023-06-22, version 1.15.0* This app did not do anything for me. If I wanted to study for a test, then this would be a great app. I don’t need to take a test on my drug usage I need to actually have some help. Yes, I know the repetition style that this app follows works or they say it works for some people, but I have no idea how. As far as only winning money on the first two or three spins, did you honestly think that they are going to hand people money all the time? No. They want you to follow your “addictive“ behavior by luring you to take more of their “tests“ in the hope that you’ll receive financial compensation for it. Basically, instead of chasing a dope high you’re now chasing a money high by passing their tests and hoping that your spin will give you money. The reason they repeat everything is that they know people are skimming through and just want to get to the end so they can take that spin on the wheel. Then, you might remember a few things because you repeated it 25 times. Like I said, it’s great if you’re taking a test but we’re not taking a test on issues we are already aware of. People are complaining that it’s “not fair“ and they want to give their family money by using this app maybe -you should find an alternative way to make money. I doubt there is any app that’s going to give you $50 or $250 just because you read through and took a bunch of tests. I used this app for the time it was prescribed and of course I won actual money on the first few spins, but then only one stars and stickers afterwards. So as I will repeat myself again (in homage to this app) you will only win the first few times and then you will be chasing a money high instead of a dope high The entire concept would be better if it were truly personalized to your own experience. Everything, is extremely general and we already know that we should be making good choices and not using. Again, if you were studying for a test in school, this would be a fantastic way to get people the knowledge they need in a scholastic manner, but not in a true to life situation. I do hope that is helps people as we need all the help we can get. ### 1/5 — Steal your insurance company's money *2023-04-26, version 1.15.0* Thought the whole point was to rewire your brain with small positive rewards after lessons. Since I got my refill and started the bottom lessons i won a single $1 reward which is too small to even cash out. I then won 7 weeks of all badges in a row, not a single reward. Doesn't really enforce any positive reinforcements if you don't actually win anything in 2 months. I get it's not all about prizes but that's literally supposed to be the point of this app and why my insurance pays them $$$$ for 2 different "prescriptions." Obviously the lessons don't cost much to make so they are making a lot of money off our insurance companies. ### 1/5 — Greedy *2023-04-20, version 1.15.0* They make money off of you from your insurance paying for their program. I haven’t won even $1 in the past 3 weeks. It’s all been just awards. So, I’ve won so many awards it’s now just ‘stars’. Basically since I’ve won every single award they have, any new award I win are stars. Which will eventually turn into regular awards once they think of new awards to make. It’s unfair I hear of people winning $50/$100 awards meanwhile I’m lucky to even win a $5 reward. I’ve won nothing but awards in the past month. I’m considering dropping reSET-O from my insurance so they can no longer make money off of me, especially when the wheel is clearly rigged. So greedy. Also when the subscription expires it takes PearConnect months to renew it. It took them 3 months to renew my subscription last time, even with contacting them multiple times. So I wonder if they still make money from you during the times it takes them months just to renew your subscription. Just so greedy. ### 1/5 — I hate to say it but… *2022-10-17, version 1.12.3* I hate to say it but this app is really a joke I agree with the other negative reviews on the App Store I have been using this reset – oFor about two years now and I have only won a total of $500 in the two years which I mean that’s pretty good but number one my insurance pays for it so it’s not coming from the company and they say that you can only win 500 a year but after the first year was up and I started into the second one for the first six or seven months I never received a single reward so I stop using the app I tried complaining multiple times to support and they told me there’s nothing they can do that there’s a cap on it at $500 a year however even though my year had been up I still didn’t start getting rewards again I actually just now started getting rewards again even though it was only five dollars this week it’s still something I use these gift cards for my kids getting them food or whatever they may need because we are currently homeless and I know the app isn’t about just making money however it really does helpTo have a little extra money here and there especially when you don’t have any at all, you’re homeless, we have three children and have been doing great in my program haven’t slipped up and relapsed not once! I do believe it people in recovery should be rewarded like this well the idea of the app and what it potentially could be but there are just too many flaws right now with it and I know they just did an update with they will but that’s literally all they did they did not even put an effort into adding new lessons or different tiers for different lessons I can do the same for categories every single week and it doesn’t matter if I do any of the others because I have done them all so many times that it doesn’t even matter anymore I remember every question to ever answer and every category they have! This app is the absolute greatest app in the world not only do you get the therapy without leaving your house but you get paid !!! I have been on this app for 10 weeks now and have won over 250 dollars for nothing literally nothing !!!! I can screen shot my rewards for you and show you lol . I have bought so much off Amazon and got free rides on Lyft several times and also ordered from ihop for my whole family of 5 with this app all for answering some questions in therapy that I have to do anyway . The lessons are great and the rewards are amazing! It’s very fair with its rewards and super easy to cash out! The lessons and points were more effective with the practice of recovery. I could then relate with the struggles I had early on. It is great way to help me not slide back. They have done a ton of work to upgrade this app and have it running smoothly. The lessons do help if you actually take the time to read them and reflect on each one. The app starts off a bit basic but works by repetition. Repetition is a very effective means of remembering new information. The incentive with gift cards is fantastic as well! But the lessons themselves are what you should be coming for. The app monitors your drug usage and reminds you to check in daily. The people behind all of it are very friendly and encourage you to do good, and they are always looking for ways to improve. It can help you a lot if you take it seriously. I’m all about advocating for it, as I want to be a bit more active in the recovery community. ### 4/5 — Wish I could do more than 4, weekly. *2022-10-21, version 1.12.3* I love this! At first, I thought it was to good to be true. My husband made $80 for 20 min of his time!!! Then I found that 4 lessons per week is what you’re rewarded for.
