### 1/5 — App Not Support

*2024-02-28*

This app will not load on any of our devices. It is a shame. I have 3 PUSH devices and now they seem completely unsupported.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2016-09-07, version 3.0.1*

Took away push assist, the only reason I bought the band to begin with. Also, if I can't bench 280 once, how am I going to get it 3 times to test my 1rm?!

**Developer response:** Hi Aconnors024! Good news, PUSH Assist 2.0 was just introduced to our app and it has a lot of powerful features that you'd like. We hope you give PUSH another shot. Please don't hesitate to contact us at: info@trainwithpush.com for any feedback or suggestions.

### 1/5 — Won't sign in

*2015-09-04, version 1.11.1*

I'm sure it would be a great app, but it keeps saying there is a server error when I try to sign in. The app is the most equally important as the actual PUSH band is so its worth 200-300$. So please fix this so I can actually use the band.

**Developer response:** Hi Nic! We hope you've had a chance to try our app again since 2015. Our new app and updates, especially PUSH Band 2.0 are a world apart from our earlier versions. You're going to have any server issues to contend with. Trusted by 150+ pro teams and counting.

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2015-04-26, version 1.10.6*

App crashes at least twice a week. Their website data won't be lost but I have yet to recover any sets that are lost when app crashes

### 1/5 — Latest update is terrible

*2015-02-24, version 1.10.1*

Cannot log back into app. It's stuck on "syncing." DO NOT update to this version. Please fix!

### 1/5 — Since update ... Problems

*2015-02-23, version 1.10.1*

App does not work. Please fix. When attempting to log in the app becomes stuck on syncing and never logs in.

### 3/5 — A Good Start

*2020-07-07, version 7.1.0*

Update: 7/7/2020
Push assist has returned! I’ve been waiting a long time for something like this to happen! I don’t have a coach but I was one of the initial backers of the push band. Looking forward to trying this out!

Push assist removed. No use for general trainees without a coach anymore. Good luck designing a velocity based program on your own.

Update v3:
New release is buggy. Also removed the push assist. At this point it seems their goal is a tool for coaches more so than something to help individual trainees. I would avoid if you are buying it to use on your own.

Update: These guys are really on to something. Lots of updates and it just gets better and better. It is clear to me they are dedicated to making the device the best in its class. It really needs a workout planning mode in the app but I believe this is coming soon.

The software is a good beginning. The exercise choices are very limited right now. In addition it has trouble connecting to the PUSH band. There have been a few times I had to reboot the phone. Even though the band was connected via Bluetooth the app would not recognize it.

Also, for me the data is hard to understand how to use. This may be ignorance on my part but it isn't as clear as doing more weight or reps than you did before. They need a detailed explanation of how to use the data effectively.

As of now you can't create a routine for yourself. It only functions in Free mode and doesn't recognize the exercise automatically. You must select the exercise and the weight each time.

**Developer response:** Hi Finance76! We're really glad to hear that you've come back to try PUSH Assist 2.0 - don't hesitate to share any feedback or comments with us at: info@trainwithpush.com

### 4/5 — Complex info

*2021-04-06, version 7.12.0*

I see why this is best used by coaches. Coach Derek Wilcox, PhD, VBT in my case. This is month two for me. I love that it helps me dial in the right weight. I find I have been not lifting as much as I can. On the other I struggle getting around the app. I do learn more each day I use it. Thank you for your work.

### 5/5 — VBT

*2021-05-01, version 7.13.0*

This product makes it easy to include VBT in your training program without a trainer or coach and on the other hand is a great tool for analysis for a trainer or coach . As a sports scientist the ability to get real time analysist is very helpful and visual feedback to the athlete is awesome.

### 5/5 — Huge game changer

*2020-11-18, version 7.7.0*

Push has been an integral part of my athletes’ training. Very user friendly and customer service representatives and more than helpful. More than recommend to anyone looking to improve their training.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best in the Business

*2020-11-16, version 7.7.0*

Push has completely transformed the way that we train at our college. It has allowed us to get the real time feedback that we need to push our athletes to become as athletic as they possibly can be. In addition to the software, the entire Push team is incredibly responsive to critiques and is open to new ideas to make the app better. Highly recommend Push to anyone that wants to take their individual athleticism or the athleticism of their whole program to the next level.

### 5/5 — Great Product and Great People

*2020-08-21, version 7.4.0*

I am impressed with the product and all the support I have received! I am an individual who wants to learn about VBT and metrics and every person I have dealt with at Push has been more than helpful! I love the Zoom calls!! Thank you Push!!

### 5/5 — Really Powerful Coaching Tool

*2018-09-26, version 4.2.2*

PUSH is a game changer. We have tried several other VBT devices and find PUSH to be the most modern, convenient and scalable without losing quality of the data. This product has been great for our facility. It’s a powerful coaching tool. Athletes love to use it and be educated on it. Customer service is great. Keep up the great work, PUSH!

### 5/5 — Great Customer Service!!!

*2017-06-14, version 3.1.8*

I am so happy with this device. I am more impressed with their customer service. They have reached out to me numerous times to see if I had any questions or if their was anything that they could help with. I highly recommend the Push Band product

### 5/5 — The absolute best way to strength train

*2016-01-18, version 1.12.10*

The application and website is what makes everything perfect. There's a lot of lifts already in the application and the velocity based training method is the best way to make sure you have the right workout each time.

### 5/5 — Constantly improving

*2015-01-05, version 1.7.0*

Updates come frequently and the app pairs well. Some issues with the phone when having this paired with my armour39. But it may be the other app. Overall, company moving in the right direction and app registers with about 90% accuracy on reps

### 5/5 — Great tech

*2014-12-26, version 1.6.0*

I've only had this device a day and I know it is going to change how I workout completely.

### 5/5 — A very useful tool if...

*2014-12-10, version 1.6.0*

you know how to interrupt the data, or has a coach or trainer that does. Once you can analyze, then you have something that can go head to head with multi thousand dollar pieces of equipment, and is a mandatory addition to your training program to help you reach your dream.
I have had a two instances where I have had to repair the band with my phone mid session, but the developers are already addressing this issue. The app is very fluid and easy to use, navigating between exercises and different weights is a breeze. Above all, the developers of this product are anything but lazy. They are continually putting out new updates with better algorithms and new exercises, and will communicate with you if you have questions or issues, which is by far the most valuable aspect of this tool.
