### 3/5 — Great app but no offline capability

*2026-08-02, version 3.13.3*

This is a really nice app, however it doesn’t work offline which unfortunately is no good for me

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-03-07, version 3.10.3*

Great app!! However would love to be able to select which specific pieces of gym equipment are available when using a limited gym/limited dumbbell weights. Also would love a widget for home screen showing the progress body as a daily reminder which muscle groups need focus/rest.

Big ask, but would like this to sync to whoop for muscular load data. No idea if this is even possible without whoop’s coordination tho lol

### 4/5 — 90% perfect

*2026-03-01, version 3.10.3*

The app is overall great, I really like the programme management and the auto progression feature. However, I feel like it’s missing a few features that would push it all the way to perfection: live activities showing remaining rest time and current / next set, optionally apple watch integration, and more exercises in the library.

### 5/5 — Latest upgrade

*2026-01-31, version 3.10.0*

Perfect! This nails all the tiny things like knowing the weight before you start a routine and being able to reorder exercises.

I rarely write reviews but you’ve nailed this release

### 2/5 — Not for this price

*2026-01-31*

I really like the idea, but to less futures for this price…

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-01-28, version 3.10.0*

I’ve tried and paid for many other apps to log and track workouts, and this one just clicks. You’ve earned a subscriber and I highly recommend this to anyone including both people who are experienced for just getting started. The only thing I think this app needs is support for live activities.

### 5/5 — Love It

*2026-01-21, version 3.9.7*

App is great, easy to use, looks nice, has easy volume trackers per muscle group, and the dev team is responsive and makes consistent updates

### 5/5 — Personal PT

*2026-01-19, version 3.9.7*

A simple yet elegant app. £50 a year for a personal trainer is well worth the money, scientific growth, backed by studies. Motivation is never higher when it does all the thinking for you. Only on week 2 so will report back if the algorithm is terrible

### 3/5 — Good but Disappointing at times

*2026-01-16, version 3.9.7*

Amazing app, using it for a while.
…but recently saves workouts differently than I did (if I change session on the go while exercising). Makes no sense! Coming back to let’s say push session week after to see it was saved not true to the script or wasn’t save at all, with some weird stuff included I didn’t ask for, with results from time ago instead of what it actually was (when checking history as well saves not actual training accomplished) so it ruins experience of updating my session on the go and not showing last results etc!
Another annoying thing it brings in new sessions equipment I opt out of, even though I have free weights only option marked drops randomly machines in...
Would be cool to be able to stick to the plan the way adjusted without needing to memorise and rebuild again when session repeats. Like simplicity of the app but please fix all the bugs. Reset changes button won’t heart either to get back to original plan if got to far with things. And pause workout button actually to be able to switch it off and return to it later but that’ll be a bonus

### 2/5 — Excellent idea. Poor execution.

*2026-01-15*

I really like this apps training philosophy, but it’s buggy to the point that I can’t use it anymore.

Also, it needs the capacity to just train without a structured workout plan. I find myself deleting all exercises and adding new ones based on which muscles I’ve hit the least this week.

I might come back in a couple of months once the implementation is polished enough to pay money for. Right now I feel I’m paying to be a beta tester.

### 4/5 — It’s good

*2026-01-11, version 3.9.7*

I’ve used multiple workout apps, this one is particular special because it tracks how many times you hit each muscle group and I’ve always had difficulty doing that, I just want to see this app more adaptive and easier to access maybe make the RPE easier to access however drop sets and myo sets are a very good touch. Back to being more adaptive I would like for it to not just go up 5 pounds I find myself having to change that a lot overall a very good workout app for the price point. But please make these changes

### 3/5 — Great App but missing Apple Watch support

*2026-01-04, version 3.9.5*

Agreed with all the other reviews, I’ve really been enjoying this app. But it desperately needs an Apple Watch App to complete the experience. This creates a 3/5 star experience for me.

### 4/5 — Apple Watch support

*2026-01-01, version 3.9.5*

I gave it 4 stars it’s pretty good used it a full two years I am now 56 and actually building new muscle, is it just the app no but while everyone in the gym doing random exercises I follow the program . So far almost 2026 and still no Apple Watch support, also Be mindful of lifting as it sometimes suggests the progressive increase can take you beyond your limits adjust it accordingly or switch to maintain muscle.

### 3/5 — Change Sets & Reps

*2025-12-25*

Hi, great app, but why can’t I change the number of sets and reps in my programs?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Pointless!!

*2026-08-30, version 3.15.2*

They offer you ‘one time discounts’ as soon as you literally open the app before you even get to look at anything.
I rejected these 2 offers as I wanted to see what it was like. Literally 30 seconds later you have to pay FULL PRICE instead.
No looking around, no trying anything, no free trial! Nothing! Just wants money completely upfront.
Why would I hand over £15 or £90 when I don’t know what I’m getting!?!?

### 1/5 — App Won’t Open

*2026-08-02, version 3.13.3*

I was enthusiastically using this app with every workout. Paid for a full years membership and suddenly it stopped working. It doesn’t open on my IOS. All updates have been made and still nothing.
So buyer beware. It’s got good qualities but pretty useless if I don’t have access to it. I’ll be asking for my money back.

### 1/5 — Does not load

*2026-06-25, version 3.12.11*

Would love to review but the app does not load. You get the yellow bar at the bottom but it never finished loading. Such a shame as would love to try and a big fan.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2026-06-23, version 3.12.11*

Do not get this app. Could not load exercisess. Be careful they took my payment as soon as I subscribed, no free trial .

### 1/5 — Can’t enter profile details or help and support

*2026-06-08, version 3.12.8*

I really wanted to like this. Unfortunately I can’t input any details including name, gender, weight etc. When I tap the options it has this reactive animation but nothing happens. Same with the help and support button. I reset the app. Deleted and installed it too. I really loved the aesthetic of the app but it feels like it is vibe coded. Such a shame. Going to go with Built with Science as it also includes meal logging.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-05-28*

Not free

### 1/5 — Great app but they ruined it

*2025-12-03, version 3.8.0*

It was a great app at first but then they got you to update it and now you can’t get off the page where it’s makes you pay for the monthly or yearly subscription - why make it free and then switch it up for a payment? You can’t even use the app until you’ve paid literally doesn’t let you get onto the app until you’ve paid 🙄

### 1/5 — Streak No longer working

*2025-09-08, version 3.4.0*

Pls can you fix?

### 1/5 — No well rounded programs

*2025-09-02, version 3.4.0*

There is no deload and progression. Not well rounded

### 1/5 — Unable to open the app

*2025-08-24, version 3.4.0*

I have downloaded this app but I am unable to open it, it just gets stuck on the loading screen. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but I’m still having the same issue.

I tried filling out a feedback form on the website but I am unable to submit it.

Would be great to try this app out!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Hickey loves this app

*2026-08-25, version 3.15.1*

10/10

### 5/5 — Best out there + suggestions

*2026-07-01, version 3.12.12*

I have used push for over a year and loved it! I took a break and then used other apps thinking there might be better ones out there but I was wrong. PUSH is really the best out there. Better pricing especially for what you get I love Joe Delaneys videos and so stoked about it app. Forget testing out other apps like me this is real the best out there! Joe Delaney is my hero!

My suggestions.

It would be cool to be able to put eliminate exercises that I don’t want to do like deadlift or back squat out of the program instead of having to swap the exercises all the time. Those exercises hurt my back.( my technique could be bad tho). Also it would be cool to have like a de load week as part of the program. Maybe you have that and I don’t see it though.

### 5/5 — Love this app but…

*2026-07-01, version 3.12.12*

Love this app! Genuinely the best app I’ve used for the gym, and have felt myself get stronger the more workouts I do with it. At times it can feel a bit repetitive, but it does switch it up. More importantly; what I feel it still really needs is a travel mode when you don’t have access to weights, so that you can maintain muscle growth progress or maintenance even when you do not have access to the gym.

### 5/5 — Best app I have found for training

*2026-06-19, version 3.12.11*

Really clear that the maintainers have spent a long time thinking and using the UI on this app. It just feels good to use. Subtle details like the tactile feedback to know you’ve pushed something in feels great. Workouts are great, feeling soreness in muscles I have not activated in a long time. Really impressed.

### 5/5 — The Watch App Makes This 5 Stars

*2026-06-13, version 3.12.10*

App is great for tracking and the auto progression takes the stress out of progressive overload

But the watch app takes it over the top. So convenient.

### 5/5 — Consistently sore from my workouts

*2026-05-14, version 3.11.1*

Love this app, it’s a perfect app in progress! Please add ability to save when adding exercises to a workout plan.

I know it auto saves in some cases. But it’s unclear when it does that. So a manual button would be helpful.

### 5/5 — EDIT: Greatest App - now with a Watch App

*2026-05-10*

I like this app esp for tracking what has been worked on thus far.
Progressiv Overload, Deload or Plateau Breakers are all built-in.
This makes training a non-brainer and more like game with PBs, summaries and a satisfying feedback when progress is happening.
—
With its rather expensive but absolutely worthwhile subscription this is such a helper with getting my head out of planning and into actual lifting.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-03-23, version 3.10.4*

Would love if you guys could implement this into the Apple Watch it’s one of the best training apps out there.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-02-18, version 3.10.2*

Love the app. Takes the thinking out of programming and elite level of tracking. I’ve been such a stop start fitness guy and this app has kept me consistent now for 1.5 years.

### 5/5 — Hands down the best gym app I’ve used!

*2026-02-02, version 3.10.0*

I feel like they have thought of everything when developing this app, it’s brilliant!

A few basic questions and I’ve got a tailored plan that fits my schedule. No more manually entering each exercise, figuring out rest time, sets and progressive overload. It is all calculated for you and is straight forward to understand. The progressive overload is sometimes abit ambitious but it’s easy to edit. If a piece of equipment is not available in your gym there’s other suggested exercises and each exercise has a demonstration video. You simply can’t go wrong with this app, for me it’s perfect and I recommend it to everyone. If your time is limited and you want the benefits of a PT, but perhaps you can’t justify one then just get this app, you won’t regret it!
