### 4/5 — It’s Easy

*2026-05-18, version 2026.4*

This automation app integrates seamlessly with Apple Shortcuts seamlessly. It runs in the background and makes automation dependable. The interface is easy to use.

### 2/5 — “Critical Alerts” not available.

*2025-12-17, version 2025.11*

It is not worth paying if critical alerts are not available.

### 4/5 — Possibility to change notifications icons

*2025-09-23*

Would be great 🙏

### 4/5 — Add live activities support

*2025-08-22, version 2025.7*

I love how you add widget and lock screen support. But I wish you also add support for live activities in the future.

### 4/5 — No sound if iPhone locked

*2025-06-09, version 2025.5*

I have aan automation that triggers an alarm sound when it is triggered. Since I got my new iphone with iOS 18 the sound won’t play unless the iphone is unlocked. Is Pushcut failing or is it a setting I can’t find?

### 4/5 — Instructions unclear, brain stuck in server

*2025-05-30, version 2025.4*

It’s amazing how little helpful information is out there for such a complex and powerful app

### 4/5 — Great but unreliable

*2025-04-30, version 2025.4*

This app is essential if you run a HomeKit smart home. It’s super helpful but it’s unreliable, it often needs to be restarted, hence the four stars.

### 4/5 — Great but unreliable

*2025-04-16, version 2025.3*

This app is essential if you run a HomeKit smart home. It’s super helpful but it’s unreliable, it often needs to be restarted, hence the four stars.

### 2/5 — No free trial given, directly charged for subscription

*2025-04-03*

Hi developer,
Im a user, who is looking for automation tools addon for shortcuts app. I came across your app and gave it a try. It said start free trial , thinking i would get free trial, I approved the autopay request. I didnt get any free trial, and rather it got subscribed and my money is debited! I just thought of trying this app and see, but this happened. Please help!

### 3/5 — Widget AI

*2025-04-01, version 2025.3*

Where is that? Nowhere to be found?

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, period

*2025-01-12, version 2024.11*

Out of the box it’s inoperable and I build apps for a living as well as created deep integration / hack level shortcuts for over a decade. You can’t force users to jump through dozens steps or read massive documentation just to use your tiny app, which is exactly what it doesn’t and if anything is don’t incorrectly, there’s no reversing the problem. You’re stuck at the hands of this strangely complex user dependent integration. Then tries to prompt for an upgrade. Yeah right.

### 1/5 — Too limited on free / Too pricy for unlimited access

*2024-12-22*

Well, it’s sad to see an App that can be so powerful to use but no chance to even test less than 10% of its possibilities !

I am a huge fan of automation and created some personal Apps. I have so much ideas of using this type of App like PushCut, like I use so much of Home6+, Signals, Controller…

But PushCut on free, it’s TOO limited on testing so few things… (We only can create 2 custom Notifications with only ONE option !! ??). And not possible to test others features

and What The Heck ! Over 60$ for an unlimited access ? Too expensive when we see what others can do. I’m a kind of person who would pay for extra features for Shortcuts automations but not at this price !

Message to developer Simon Peter Leeb :
If you want people to download your App and USE your App, lower your price, you will see some good surprises !

Do you prefer to be downloaded 1000 times and only get 2-3 unlimited access? Or be downloaded 1000 and get over 30% of unlimited access ?

With this 64,99$, you force people like me to not purchase your App whereas I would love to pay but … less !
But with a lower price, you would more than triple your incomes on mass for each 1000 downloads.

Be sure people would download your App, will USE your App, will pay a full use of your App, would rate FAIR your App, and more download to come, and more incomes to come.

With your high price 64,99€, you force people to badly rate your App, and you kill your App by yourself …

How many downloads do you have ?
How many contract plans people purchase for your App ?

**Developer response:** Hi,
Sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with Pushcut’s pricing. We offer a 7 day free trial of the Pro subscription, allowing you to test all of the app’s features for a week without paying anything.

Pushcut provides a server-side API and multiple integrations, allowing you to trigger effectively-unlimited notifications from any device with an internet connection. The €64.99 lifetime plan covers not only the cost of the app and ongoing maintenance, but also our server costs associated with providing these online services. We offer monthly (€1.99) and yearly (€19.49) plans for customers who do not wish to commit to the upfront cost of the lifetime plan.

### 1/5 — 2024.9 update

*2024-10-27, version 2024.9*

2024.9 update is failed. Fix it fast!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Não funciona direito

*2026-06-18*

Assinei e ficam solicitando uma nova assinatura .

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-06-14, version 2026.5*

Shortcuts no longer import.

### 1/5 — So much for the free trial.

*2026-02-03, version 2026.1*

I wanted to do the trial, I selected the lifetime option, because I thought if I like the app, I’ll let it charge me for the lifetime license. I hate subscriptions with a passion! Anyway, it billed me straight away and now I have no option to cancel it.

Secondly, there is another subscription hidden in this app even if you do have a lifetime license?

### 1/5 — Useless unless you pay for it.

*2025-12-30*

Unless you pay for the app, it’s useless because the notification that you receive will always have “upgrade message” in the beginning and only then your message.
Better option is telegram.

### 1/5 — Not reliable

*2025-12-23, version 2025.11*

Not reliable at all

### 1/5 — Fagqot Flags

*2025-10-29, version 2025.9.2*

Celebrating who you sleep with is weird for an automation app

### 1/5 — Almost ALWAYS times out

*2025-07-20, version 2025.6*

Never follows through on automation. Can't believe I spent 30 dollars on a lifetime license. What. A. Scam!

### 1/5 — 𝙱𝚊𝚍

*2025-07-11, version 2025.6*

𝙸𝚝 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔 𝚜𝚘 𝚍𝚘 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚜𝚕

### 1/5 — Can't add widgets to home screen!

*2025-04-06, version 2025.3*

I paid $38 for this app and I am unable to add widgets to my home screen. Wish I could get my money I feel scammed

### 1/5 — Pushcut not working

*2025-02-17, version 2025.1*

It tests fine but will not push a notification when activated by a device. Others are expressing this issue with ios 18.3. Also 18.2. No workable fix found on internet.

### 5/5 — Great app

### 5/5 — Fallo y sin solución

### 5/5 — Best

The best shortcuts app there is

### 5/5 — Gives you full control over notifications (further actions, threading, lifetime, etc)

*2025-01-08, version 2024.11*

If you understand the title you’re probably already sold. Have fun.

(2024/2025 review, 5*)
Eventually it clicked and it has long been an essential part of my shortcuts now :) thanks Simon. The website also looks great and resolves my suggestions.

(2021 review, 4*)
Looks fine and I trust the other reviewers but I don’t get it. So I’m not convinced I should make the investment of time to learn how to use it. Suggestions to developer: 1) publish one of those easy-to-parse tables of features, showing things that Shortcuts/HomeKit/IFTTT can’t do and that Pushcuts can do, and why exactly this will improve my life, 2) improve the onboarding and show us something cool that the app can do, even if it’s not an interactive demo.

### 5/5 — Amazing the Future

*2024-10-31, version 2024.9.1*

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review!

I absolutely hear your points - and I agree with them. I am struggling at the moment to organize the developer power to move things forward again, but I hope that there will be improvements for both app and documentation coming in the following weeks and months.

### 5/5 — This has totally revolutionised my home automation

*2024-04-11, version 2024.2*

Fantastic, well thought-out documentation and just really polished. Worth every penny. It has totally bridged the echoing void between Homekit and Personal automation. I can finally do really useful stuff that saves me time and effort.
