## What is PushFit Pro?

You do push-ups. PushFit counts.

Place your iPhone on the ground beneath you and start pushing. The front camera tracks your face and counts every rep automatically. It even measures how deep each one goes. No tapping, no equipment, no excuses. Work out at home or anywhere.

Join 475,000+ people building strength one push-up at a time.

One purchase. No subscription, no ads, ever.

APP FEATURES
▶ Automatic rep counting with the front camera: face tracking measures your distance from the phone, so only real reps count
▶ The Lockout: choose the apps that steal your time and they stay locked until you do your push-ups. PushFit never learns which apps you chose
▶ Streaks that survive rest days: training banks recovery, so a Monday, Wednesday, Friday routine keeps its streak with nothing to schedule
▶ Apple Watch app that counts reps from your wrist, no iPhone needed, with a haptic tick every rep, heart-rate zones, a voice coach and five complications
▶ Live Activity with reps, sets, rest countdown, and heart rate on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
▶ Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, including a one-tap button that logs ten push-ups without opening the app
▶ "Hey Siri, start my push-ups" to start, log, and check your count hands-free, no setup required
▶ Compete with friends and family on daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and all-time leaderboards, with friends added by a link you send
▶ Charts drawn from every single rep: your climb over time, the depth of each rep, and your heart rate through the workout
▶ A calendar of every day you trained, with the depth, consistency, stamina and rest behind each one
▶ Share a workout as a five-second video, made for Stories and Reels
▶ Records workouts in Apple Health with heart rate and calories
▶ Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals, drawn as rings or bars, set straight from the home screen
▶ Your music keeps playing, with the controls right on the workout screen
▶ Lifetime record of push-ups, sets and personal bests
▶ Workout reminders to keep the habit going
▶ Customizable themes with matching app icons, your own display name, plus your favorite photo for motivation
▶ Built for everyone: VoiceOver rep announcements and audio graphs for every chart

THE CAMERA NEVER RECORDS
Face tracking measures one thing: how far your face is from the screen. No photo or video is ever saved, and no face data ever leaves your iPhone.

THE PERFECT EXERCISE
The push-up is simple, functional, and scales to any fitness level. Perfect whether you're chasing your first push-up or your hundredth. PushFit Pro slots into any routine.

Push-ups target:
▶ Chest (pectorals)
▶ Shoulders (deltoids)

### 5/5 — Went from good to awesome

*2026-08-27, version 3.0.0*

I've been consistently using this app for a couple years now. It's always been pretty good. But the most recent update has made it fantastic! Much better face tracking, updated goal setting process, and the new lockout feature just pushed it over the edge. Many thanks to the developer!

### 5/5 — Best

*2026-08-26, version 3.0.0*

The best app out there for counting push-ups on $2.99 just buy it and get a full version you won’t regret it !
Add love the new version update

### 3/5 — Feature Request: Custom Workout Schedules & Rest Days

*2026-08-24, version 3.0.0*

Hi PushFit Team,

I love using PushFit, but I have a feature request that would make it even better.

Currently, the goal system only allows setting continuous daily, weekly, or monthly targets. It would be awesome to have a customizable workout builder where users can set specific training days (e.g., 3 days a week like Mon/Wed/Fri) with predefined set goals for each session.

Having dedicated rest days built into the goals would help maintain progress without breaking streaks or cluttering daily targets.

Thanks for the great app, and keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-08-21, version 3.0.0*

Great app for the price.

### 5/5 — Love the new update!

*2026-08-12, version 2.9.0*

I have used this app 3x a week for over a year. It has really helped me keep track. It’s very motivating. I love the way it works now with my Apple Watch. It is by far the best workout app I own. I really wish the developer would come up with a sit-up app. I would buy it in a heartbeat!

### 4/5 — A good app

*2026-08-10, version 2.9.0*

There is nowhere in this app to actually label the different types of push-ups you can do. Some type of push-ups are much harder than others.

### 4/5 — Surprisingly motivating

*2026-08-10, version 2.9.0*

Doesn’t recognise when you’ve done a push up unless you touch the screen with your nose so forces you to do a full press up. Tracking your counts really helps with motivation

### 5/5 — Great app to keep track

*2026-08-09, version 2.9.0*

Simple and does what is has to do! Thanks for the product support

### 5/5 — Consistency is key

*2026-07-16, version 2.8.6*

Fantastic app !

### 5/5 — Def 5 ⭐️

*2026-04-19, version 2.8.6*

Even though I still stand by giving it the 5 stars, I would just like to note make sure there’s plenty of light cause the odd shadow can block the accuracy, and may cause it to miss a number account & I don’t usually play my tunes while using. I prefer the bleeps myself, But your music plays perfectly,, So for a free app & bit of crack with your pals if they don’t cheat, lol There was more meat on a butcher’s knife then me 😂. But not now so if you’re looking for a new set of shoulders & chest & core, Stick to this little app 110% results, PS…I’ve nothing to do with this company and I hardly ever do reviews. I’m Irish and I’m dyslexic so you probably won’t even understand what this says. This works ☘️🇮🇪

### Can I use PushFit Pro for other exercises?

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0.1 — 2026-09-03

Features
* 85 achievements, in Game Center. The celebration shows the medals a workout earned, your whole history is counted the first time you open the app, and a medal on the Stats tab opens the full list.
* Stats is rebuilt around tiles. Sets, Duration, Days Trained, Calories and Best Workout join the records, each with the day it was set, and tapping a record opens that day in the calendar. The range control stays pinned while you scroll, and the tab loads in a fraction of the time.
* Your live heart rate, and the zone it is in, on the workout screen and under the rest timer, from Apple Watch or a Bluetooth heart rate monitor.
* Rest days have one rule now: every workout banks two, and you can hold three. The streak pill says "Train Today" on the day the chain is actually on the line.
* The weekly goal can be a number of days. Pick "3 days" from the ring's menu instead of a press-up count, and the ring fills one segment for each day you train, whichever days they are.
* Tap where you stand on either leaderboard for a card you can send: your place, how far behind the person above you, and an invite your friends can scan.
* The music controls play and pause whatever your phone is playing, Spotify and podcasts included.
* Settings has a Backup screen that says where your history lives, in iCloud and in the PushFit backup, with "Restore from Backup" as a real row.
* Notifications, each with its own switch: a friend finishes a workout, passes you or accepts your invite, a streak about to break or a goal about to be missed, sent at 6 PM with time left to act. Long press a friend on the leaderboard to call them out.
* The camera warms up the moment you press START, so the first rep counts faster.
* New animations at the end of a workout: the counter turns into your medal on the summary, and tapping Done flies the medal back into the START button.
* Apple Watch: the rest timer counts down on the wrist during an iPhone workout, and a forgotten session asks "Still working out?" at fifteen minutes and ends itself at an hour.
* A day's workouts are numbered again, "Workout 1", "Workout 2", with the time of day underneath.
* The Lockout: the block screen names the app it is holding and the deal, "10 press-ups to unlock", and the tab shows the icons of the apps you chose. Share the block screen as a card, with a tile for each app you chose, your rep target and an invite your friends can scan.
* A few new bugs, so the next update has something to fix.

Fixes
* A workout started on iPhone with Apple Watch along saves to Health once, with its calories, and editing or deleting it in the app reaches Health.
* A workout left running ends at its last rep, and coming back to it after half an hour lands on the summary.
* A workout with no reps is no longer saved, on iPhone or Apple Watch.
* Turning haptics off silences every buzz.
* Tapping a widget opens the screen it shows.
* Face Detection with camera access refused asks once at the start of a workout, "Count by Tapping" or "Open Settings", instead of a standing banner.

### 3.0.0 — 2026-08-18

Features
* The Lockout: pick the apps that steal your time, and they stay locked until you do your press-ups. Those reps count toward your goals, streak and leaderboards like any other.
* Streaks now survive rest days. A Monday, Wednesday, Friday routine keeps its streak, with nothing to schedule.
* The calendar's day view is rebuilt around stat tiles, with Depth, Consistency, Stamina and Rest, and a card that caps each finished month with its total.
* Four new home screen widgets: This Week, Month, Year and Next Milestone. Today, Streak and Lifetime are redesigned to hold up on a tinted home screen and in StandBy.
* Press and hold a set to correct its reps, instead of deleting the whole workout to fix one miscount.
* Share a workout as a video, made for Stories and Reels.
* Settings is rebuilt around your profile, with live values on every row, and your display name can now be changed.
* Goals are edited from the rings on the home screen, and every ring can be a bar instead.
* Music keeps playing after the last rep, with the controls in a now playing bar.
* The rest timer beeps and taps through its last five seconds.
* Apple Health: iPhone workouts run a real workout session on iOS 26, and measured calories are used whenever your device measures them.
* A workout started on Apple Watch now appears on your iPhone Lock Screen while the phone is locked.
* Now available in Arabic, Czech, Dutch, Indonesian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese, with full right to left layouts.

Fixes
* Game Center no longer asks you to sign in on every launch
* Best Set no longer counts manually entered totals
* Daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards follow your own time zone
* The counter says when it has lost your face, so reps no longer stop counting silently
* The Lock Screen Live Activity is redesigned, and long workouts no longer wrap the clock

### 2.9.0 — 2026-08-06

Features
* All-new Apple Watch app: push-ups counted automatically from wrist motion, heart rate, rest timer, a week chart, and watch face complications

* Workout detail charts redesigned as "The Climb" and "Form"
* A refreshed look across the app, including Liquid Glass on iOS 26
* Now available in Italian, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Traditional Chinese
* Improved iPad layouts, VoiceOver, and Dynamic Type support

Fixes
* Siri shortcuts work again
* Performance improvements

### 2.8.6 — 2026-04-17

* All-time view now renders charts (previously skipped)
* Added three new stats: Most In a Day, Longest Workout, and Best Reps/Min
* Stats now show period-over-period change
* “Highest Rep" renamed to "Best Set" for clarity

### 2.8.5 — 2026-04-11

Features:
  - Added commas to large numbers in the summary and stats screens for easier reading.

  Bug Fixes:
  - Fixed off-by-one error on the global leaderboard rank caused by users signed in on multiple devices
  - Faster loading of total push-ups, stats history, and workout start dates
