However, Push Pay does not notify you exceptional situations that requires your attention. For example, Push Pay does not flag these issues when the credit card transaction is denied (my experience), or the church you donate to no longer participates in Push Pay (other’s experience). ### 3/5 — No in-app option for giving statements? *2023-02-20, version 7.5.2* Otherwise a good app, but lacks the ability to download giving statements from the app … a big drawback. (Website-only access to giving statements!) ### 3/5 — Stop recurring gifts *2023-02-03, version 7.5.2* My church stop using Pushpay without me knowing it. Now I can only access the transactions, but cannot give one time or add a recurring gift or change a recurring gift. The recurring gifts I had set up continue to be honored and deducted from my checking account. this is distressing. I liked the app while it was in use. However, I could not revise the recurring gifts. This may be my problem with understanding. How do I stop these gifts from occurring now? ### 3/5 — Needs work *2022-11-05, version 7.5.2* Previous payment history is not current and I have a hard time finding my current church in the search list. So much easier to use the desktop site. Not sure I will keep this app. ### 2/5 — No Face ID, only touch ID *2022-09-19, version 7.5.2* This app does not support Face ID so you have to enter a pin instead. It supports Touch ID which is less secure and phased out now, and Apple hasn’t added Touch ID to a single new phone for the past 6 years. This is the only finance app I use that doesn’t support Face ID, all my bank accounts and credit cards support it, all high security apps. If Face ID was available I would have rated higher stars, it would make this so much easier to use. ### 4/5 — Works well *2022-09-11, version 7.5.2* I use this app regularly since the beginning of the pandemic. My comments are that it defaults to recurring as opposed to a one time gift. I wish it was the opposite. Also before the last update it saved the amount. My church giving statements accurately reflect each tithe/offering given. However, I’ve always been a bit suspicious of why the “RECURRING GIFT” button is AUTOMATICALLY DEFAULT when you log on?? For anyone who is new to the app they wouldn’t quickly know to switch to “One Time Gift” if that what they wanted to do or what their Tithing budget allowed. But to make that the DEFAULT button could cause some to INADVERTENTLY chose and end up overdraft in their accounts. That leads to lost sheep who think they’ve been “Fleeced by another one of this preachers”. True story from someone I recommended this app to. My suggestion is to make “ ONE TIME PAYMENT “ the default settings… or change the color of the buttons for better recognition. Thanks ### 1/5 — Privacy nonexistent *2020-10-26, version 7.5.2* There should not be an app i the market that should force you to us a phone number to login. I’m sure I am not the only one getting way too many telemarketing calls or text, and this is exactly how It happens. If I can go to your website and login with just an email, then I should be able to do that on the app. There is a suspicious and seemingly dubious reason for requiring a phone number—my guess is to either sell or store unnecessarily. ### 4/5 — Can not make a transaction *2020-06-15, version 7.5.2* Up until now I was able to initiate a transaction and the last two days nothing is working. I am not able to change the $ amount and any other functions are not responsive either. IT please fix it. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Lame Sauce *2020-06-14, version 7.5.2* App doesn’t support FaceId so you have to enter a pin every time. Doesn’t let me over-ride the default of “make this a recurring gift” to “give one time”. Good way to accidentally miss that and drain your bank account. Tech support is very slow Good luck getting a response within 6 weeks. I only wish I could give it a ZERO. ### 1/5 — Customer Service? *2020-05-09, version 7.5.2* I recently, one week ago, installed this app to make a monthly recurring donation to my church. The transaction reported that it had been made but then I see an error without any explanation of what the error was. I sent an immediate support question regarding this transaction and now one week later have not heard any resolution or even that they are looking into it. By the way, the app shows no history of the transaction ever being done. So there doesn’t seem away to look at a giving history. But for them not to respond with a resolution or follow up question is inexcusable! ### 3/5 — Face ID?
