But immediately and abruptly comes backs when any dialogue or other sounds come in from the movie. Any ideas how to fix? But the service is very good. ### 5/5 — Unbelievably amazing! *2020-12-11, version 2.40* It is maybe not for an average user however if you are just even a bit tech savvy, it is the greatest entertainment application on iOS. Edit: I just read the other comments talking about Chromecast connection issues. I have no issues at all, they need to update their connection settings to the closest server to them instead of the automatic option. It works perfectly!🥰 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Rubbish app *2025-02-02, version 2.58.0* The new transfer button is missing, this is a cheating app. ### 1/5 — PIP - Picture-in-Picture *2023-01-12, version 2.56* Where did PIP-functionality go? ### 1/5 — Amazing service, horrible iPad app. *2020-03-02, version 2.36* I use put.io literally everyday; however the iPad app is sooooo bad compared to the android phone app and browser app. Downloads often fail for no reason, and worst of all, I can’t open downloads in other apps like VLC, so I am forced to use the put.io media player, which is bad. 10/10 for the service, 1/5 for the iPad app. ### 2/5 — Overpriced Compared to Android *2026-07-26, version 2.58.0* Works as described, but I still need to use the web version for some tasks because the app can’t handle everything. It’s also very expensive, especially when compared to Android apps like uTorrent, which offer similar functionality at a much lower price. Overall, it’s good, but the pricing doesn’t feel justified. ### 2/5 — Videos do not play anymore *2019-11-03* I have 2 downloaded videos (MP4) and the app does not play them. Also, when attempting to play any video which is not downloaded -nothing happens. It’s as if the tap on the list-entry is being ignored. :( **Developer response:** Hi fabianmu2, we have recently refactored our downloads feature and hopefully it should be performing better now.  Could you please give it another try and let us know via in-app support chat if it doesn't work out for you?  Cheers! ### 3/5 — Why is this here….. *2026-01-14, version 2.58.0* What good is this app for iOS? I mean on a computer It works well and I’m allowed to do all sorts of things however, on my phone, I can only look at the files that I have gotten. The option that is available on the website to get the direct link to a file so you can stream it with another app like VLC would be very helpful here. ### 4/5 — Works well but has playback issues *2024-08-01, version 2.58.0* Works well but the media player doesn’t remember where you last left off. You could watch for 30 minutes, stop the file and when you try to restart it will only remember maybe the first 5 mins into the file. The only solution I found was to start and stop at the point of the file you want to continue from and eventually the app will remember. Most times it takes a couple tries, other times it takes quite a few tries to get the app to remember where you left off. Would be perfect if this issue was resolved. This is happening with downloaded files, not sure if the issue happens when streaming files online too, but I’d imagine since it’s using the same media player. Picture in Picture works great and is a nice feature. ### 4/5 — Cool app *2024-07-28* The app is very nice but it’s kinda bad at playing audio.
