I keep coming back to this game and have been playing for about 10 years. I really like the egg machines and the variety of drops. 

the toggle for moving backgrounds was removed or hidden and that’s my only issue :/

### 1/5 — Newer collab units are trash.

If you decide to play this game because of a collab they’re doing, especially the newer ones like MHA or Frieren, just be aware that most of the new units they make are garbage. 

You’ll want to make a team solely with your favourite characters from the collabs, they even encourage this with their collab exclusive badges that you can get from pulling specific units, giving buffs to characters from a specific series or collab, but you’ll slowly start to notice that all of the units are PURPOSELY gimped so you’re forced to use their skills, which will usually evolve the skill or the character making them usable, the unfortunate thing about this, however, is that a large majority of these skills take roughly 30 TURNS TO CHARGE. 

If you have a team that is relatively good, you can finish a majority of these skills content in 10-15 turns. Meaning you are purposefully playing a worse team with longer clear times just to use characters you love. 

Of course, you can TRY and fix this by putting Skill charge ups on all your units you plan to use, meaning you’re LOSING DAMAGE JUST TO USE THE UNIT, however again, most units CANNOT EQUIP THIS, so this point is somewhat pointless.

Finally, let’s say you stall on a round to charge the skills, well, that could technically work, however again again, you’d be clearing floors WAY slower than if you just played another team, and of course the elephant in the room, when you get to harder content, the game gets BRUTAL. I’m talking turn 2 team wipes, literally any floor wiping you if you make ONE MISTAKE, OHKO GALORE! So in this case, you’ll be FORCED to swap to a better team, and I’m not even talking about countering specific status effects like element absorb or damage negation, which you’ll need specific units to counter to make your team even functional.

I’d say that Gung-ho should go back and fix these units, but it’s  clear the only thing they can do is create alternate evolutions for them and I’d seriously doubt they’d do that for ONE negative review. All I’m gonna say is it SERIOUSLY kills all hype around a collab when the units are downright UNUSABLE, except in super specific team comps which I DO NOT CARE ABOUT, I just wanted to play with a complete MHA team!!! 😭

I love this game but it's WAY larger than the 300MB as described in the app store. It's actually quite a space hog which is a shame because there are more complex games that don't require so much device space. I love Puzzle & Dragons Z on 3DS and wish this game wasn't so demanding in terms of device storage so I can play it again but I deleted it because it's pretty ridiculous. This game alone was hogging my storage and slowing my phone down. 

Also the game's focus isn't really on dragons anymore, all the cards you get are weird anime girls. I wish I played this game in its heyday before it went so downhill, but I'll stick to my Puzzle & Dragons Z on 3DS.

So I downloaded this game because I saw Husain play he is a youtuber and he made a ranking mobile games vid and damn this was good i love puzzles and I’m only 8 and the designs too everything is good nice gameplay amazing designs it’s so nice!

11.5 years I’ve had this game. Endgame is too grindy with 20min dungeons requiring ultra rare teams. Abysmal roll rates always below what’s posted in expensive collabs. Not worth it any more. I’d rather give my time to something fun.

Been playing since 2014. This gameplay never gets old. All the collabs constantly make this game feel fresh as well. You’ll pull certain monsters and slowly find the play style you enjoy playing. Everybody has their preference and I happen to be a “match as many T’s as you can” player. My only complaint is the new player experience. This update appears to have consolidated many dungeons into a less overwhelming format. This is definitely a step in the right direction along with end game dungeons telegraphing large attacks. We have had many convenient 3rd party resources come and go due to GungHo constantly shutting down these resources due to copyright. The best solution would be GungHo adding MORE dungeon info. These new end game dungeons are not for the faint of heart so it should definitely be priority number 1 to make the game more accessible so players don’t have to feel compelled to use 3rd party resources.

I love the game, gameplay is great and I think there is a good increase in difficulty over time. The variety of abilities and build styles really make this though. The only issue, as a player who’s been here for a couple years, is the ordeal system and evo system. I don’t know if I’m crazy or the only person saying this but some evos are worse than their previous form, and no I’m not talking about assists. I think a big one for me is Reincarnated Toyotomi. His normal ability enhances and locks orbs, but his ordeal evo completely gets rid of both of those, and the same goes for Takeda Shingeb. Maybe his awakenings are a little better, but I don’t think they justify getting rid of the enchanced orbs ability. I feel the same way about Tomoe Gozen, originally changing several rows to fire to only turning fire orbs into combo orbs. Once again maybe the awakenings may justify it or maybe possible team usage but it just seems inconsistent to me. This is especially due to the fact that some of the new ordeal evos have leader abilities increasing attack by up to 100x whereas these older Japanese and possibly even Greek characters are suffering due to power creep. Once again maybe I’m crazy, and the build opportunities are better, but I just feel some of the things that made the characters good in the first place were removed, but do take this with a grain of salt as I’m not somebody who has the resources to pull off any of these builds.

This game has the perfect amount of content to bring you back but not force you to play constantly, and has been entertaining for around 15 years for me, though I take extended breaks. Devs are generous with free gems and pulls, and there is an incredible amount of skill expression and planning ability. Just needs more official dungeon resources.
