I fully understand having the banner ad in it; the amount of content you can access without paying is really good and I always appreciated that. And then the last update ruined everything by adding in a mandatory ad after every puzzle, and I instantly got a sports gambling one. It started out great – no ads and an opportunity to win. Lots of endgame rewards. A year or so ago the ad started… In between every single game. Then, after building up a ton of in-game rewards, they took my rewards away. No warning… Just took hours of double bonus opportunities away… Gone. I will continue to play. BAD APP *2026-09-04, version 7.8.3* They begged people to leave reviews. If you app good and actually works you don’t have to beg for reviews!!!! After 9 Months this problem is not fixed!!! There is no 0 stare so it gets 1. The app does not work. Freezes and crashes. For 9 months now you can’t open the app without the boot log coming on and freezing the game. Have not been able to play since December. The developers don’t care and say they fix when they fix it and they have no idea when they fix it. They blow you off and couldn’t care less when you reach out to support to get help. I am sure they won’t even comment on this because they don’t have an update and never will. Don’t download and don’t get subscriptions unless you want to be treated horribly. ### 1/5 — Game reset? *2026-09-03, version 7.8.2* What gives? No thanks. ### 1/5 — Ladbrokes Ad cannot be closed *2026-08-12, version 7.7.2* The Ladbrokes advert has blocked the closure “x” so it is impossible to close it regardless of how long you watch it for. Blocked the entire game selected from being played. This is not a glitch but a deliberate design by the advertiser to force you to sign up. This has been reported by multiple users so your support team is clearly not addressing this issue. UPDATE 11 Aug 26 - the Ladbrokes ad continues to block the game selected from being played as it cannot be closed. As it takes a while to resolve, to option to not view and use tokens to play should be provided. Currently you cannot get past the ad. Response from the developer support team 16 Jul 26: "Thank you for taking the time to report this ad using the form found through in-game support. We review all reports of issues with ads, but unfortunately removing a faulty ad is not an instant process and the ad can continue to appear while we work to block it." ### 1/5 — WHY *2026-08-10, version 7.7.2* Why the heck do you keep issuing notices about new issues when there aren’t any? Announcing issues 18 when they’ve been here a long time. It is totally irritating! I love the page, and appreciate the new ones every day, but stop teasing about new issues when there aren’t any! PLEASE. ### 1/5 — Was good but not anymore *2026-08-10, version 7.7.2* I used to enjoy it every day. Good variety of games despite the ads but lately, it won’t even load. Stuck on some privacy agreement and you cannot move on from that.Shame ### 1/5 — Stealing your data to sell - UPDATE *2026-08-09, version 7.7.2* You have to go through all the vendor preferences and turn them off. There is no reject all option so you have to do it manually yourself. Ensure you turn off the legitimate interest as this is the same as consent I’ve reported this to the information commissioners office who regulate GDPR If you turn off all consent and legitimate interest the next time you open the game it has deleted your preferences and you have to remove them all again I don’t know how much they receive for your data but I assume it will be less than the subscription I will be cancelling if they clear my preferences again ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Needs dark mode *2026-09-04, version 7.8.2* Love the games, the subscription is worth it. Needs a dark mode though. I play at night before bed and the bright white light keeps my spouse from falling asleep. Dark mode would help keep her from being bothered by my winding down and be easier on my eyes. ### 5/5 — Cheated out of rewards *2026-09-03, version 7.8.2* This game worked well the first day, but each day since, upon completing a puzzle, instead of giving the rewards, it goes to an advert. On return to the game, my rewards have not been updated. The puzzles are as challenging. It’s easy to earn “money” that you spend on the puzzle for assistants like revealing a letter or checking for errors. So there isn’t too much risk if you choose to spend it. But don’t take my word for it. Check this out and give your brain a nice workout. Also good for a slow dopamine release-helps with addiction. ### 5/5 — Mind Soothing & Time With My Mom!! *2026-08-24, version 7.8.1* My Mom use to do crosswords and other word puzzles every day, all thru out the day while drinking her coffee. She passed away in 2007 and 2 days later I had the urge to start drinking coffee and doing puzzles also. So when I came across Puzzle Page with different types of puzzles I had to start playing it, and every time I would be working one of the puzzles I would feel her presence with me. After a a while of this I knew I had to subscribe so that anytime I was missing my Mom and best friend 🥰 I would be able to go work a puzzle and she would be with me. I used to love this app for the puzzles obviously. Now the ads have taken over, first they showed up at the bottom of the page which was ok. Now they’ve become completely invasive where the app store download page pops up every time the add changes at the bottom disrupting game play causing unintended clicks on stuff I’m not interested in. I’ve amassed a ton of the in-game coins and tokens over the many years I’ve been playing and stand to loose those which is probably the only reason I haven’t deleted this app and looked for another one.
