### 4/5 — Minimalistisch

*2022-01-21, version 1.1.0*

Und suchterzeugend. Die Möglichkeit auf mehreren Geräten einen Spielstand zu haben wäre noch nice 🙃

### 5/5 — Clever new puzzle

*2020-02-14, version 0.9.6*

Always nice to see a clever new puzzle design. And the presentation as economy building and island graphics are lovely! The first few levels are quite easy, but they ramp up soon enough to require a bit of thought. Enjoying it!

Edit: The more I play this, the more I like it!

### 5/5 — Very well done

*2020-01-12*

I’m a casual gamer. I just started playing. This game is very well designed. The tutorial is great, the rules are clear, the user interface is smooth. It’s fun to learn and experiment. I applaud the developer for making this at such a fair price with no IAPs. Great job! We need more developers like you! 😀 Edit: The only thing I wish was added is a hint system. I’ve had to search online for solutions, and I’d rather just get a hint if needed.

### 4/5 — Fun quick puzzles

*2019-12-25*

Puzzles are complex yet simple. I am playing with my 11 year old. He is embarrassing me!

### 5/5 — Fun brain game

*2019-12-19*

Update: I love the new islands! I’d definitely pay for “add-on” islands too! I love the challenge of figuring these out.

Original: This was a fun and sometimes challenging game! I do wish there was a “hint” option. I need more islands please!!

**Developer response:** Hello Kimberly! Thanks for the review! Your wish was granted, there are more than 40 new levels now :)

### 5/5 — My new obsession

*2019-12-19*

I bounce from one puzzle game to the next and am currently loving this one. The puzzles strike the perfect balance between simple yet challenging.

Don't let the preview screenshots fool you, the game plays in portrait mode!

### 5/5 — Fresh puzzle.

*2019-12-07*

More like 4.5 stars. There are still some bugs, UX/UI annoyances, and the language in the tutorial is either written by somebody who’s non-native English speaking, or just not great with concise technical directions. Other than that, great puzzle. Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Great game

*2019-12-06, version 0.9.6*

Fun, challenging and and really great. Go one like this. More levels, please 💪
Endlich mal wieder ein richtig gutes Spiel. Mehr Level wären cool.

### 4/5 — Pretty Good

*2019-12-04*

Not my favorite puzzle game, but I got many hours of play from it.

### 5/5 — Challenging puzzler

*2019-07-04*

Fun to play! Combo of logic and spatial puzzles. Can’t wait until they release more worlds.

### 5/5 — Clever and thinky

*2019-04-24*

Awesome game, really offers a unique twist to the connect-the-dots puzzle genre. Can’t wait for new levels!

### 5/5 — No nonsense fun puzzles

*2019-04-20*

Fun puzzles; clean and easy to understand. Well worth the price. No gotcha daily limitations.

Issue is the sounds: wind blowing keeps playing even with all sounds sliders down.

**Developer response:** Hi! Thanks a lot for the review! I put the sound issue on top of my list for the next release - thanks for reporting it. Have a nice Easter weekend!

### 5/5 — Interesting and Innovative

*2019-04-19*

Feels fun so far, the developer obviously put a lot of thought into each puzzle. Well done and beautiful artwork. Definitely worth the price for 56 increasingly challenging puzzles.

### 1/5 — Needs a Mouse?

*2026-03-06*

Was struggling long enough to just look up the solution online, and the solution is just plain does not work/contains impossible moves on my phone. Guessing it may play better on PC, 100% not worth it as a phone game tho

### 1/5 — Please reconsider some design

*2022-01-20*

The pattern in the introduction panel is a rising sun flag from the time when Japan, a war criminal country, ruled Southeast Asia illegally. It's like a Nazi flag in Europe to Asian.

**Developer response:** Hi Eugene, thank you for the feedback! I was not aware of that, sorry if that looks offensive. When i find the time for the next update I will revise this.

### 1/5 — O the regret

*2019-05-02, version 0.9.3*

This game on paper seems really good... except it doesn’t work, it tells you how to carry out a task you go to the next mission and there is no way of carrying it out. Either there is a glitch or it’s not giving you the correct instructions.

### 1/5 — What a waste of money

*2019-04-16, version 0.9.2*

Thought this would be a good buy but boy was a wrong. The biggest load of tosh ever. You can’t do half the things it expects. It’s hard to drag the stuff. Controlling the game is impossible. And very very repetitive.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2019-04-16, version 0.9.2*

Boring

### 1/5 — 20 levels then crashed (£2 for 20 levels...)

*2019-04-13, version 0.9.2*

Was a great game until level 3.3 Ardently Carpentry... the level loads briefly before throwing you to the sea where I’ve been stuck for the past few attempts of opening and closing the app. Disappointing as let’s down an otherwise well designed and addictive game

### 2/5 — Drop the white hand

*2020-03-11*

This game is cool except for the white hand that comes up and scolds you every time you are trying something out. Makes it unplayable for me. It’s a puzzle game you should give me the option of doing it on my own. Every time I lay something down I have to second guess myself.

**Developer response:** Hi, developer here! Thank you for the feedback! I added the hand to give feedback to new players, a lot of whom find it helpful. But I see your point. I will try to add an option in the settings for disabling the hand, in the next update!
Thanks for playing,
Christopher

### 2/5 — Stuck

*2019-06-13, version 0.9.4*

[14-06-2019]

Couldn’t make it passed the intro - there’s only so many options and I exhausted all of the ones I had thought of. It looks alright but is just a bit too hard and now I’m disappointed it cost money just to end up being nowhere. If I got passed the introduction stage, I probably would’ve experienced enough to make a higher rating.

### 3/5 — Would Easily Be a 5-Star Game with Some Minor Fixes

*2021-01-23*

Review for People Curious About Buying This Game:
The core design of this game is excellent and really holistic (which is my sort of game). It's solely a puzzle game (not a city-builder) that formats its puzzles around geometric arrangement of buildings and trait characteristics of resources (and their subsequently developed future resource trees) produced by said buildings.

Your goal is simple but obviously non-trivial: some squares contain villagers that want different types of resources and your goal is to drag out buildings from resource squares and sometimes drag out subsequently produced resources from those dragged out buildings (e.g. drag on a tree tile to make a lumber mill -> drag on a lumber mill to produce a carpentry building). The challenge arises in making sure you optimize the space your buildings take up in order to meet the needs of all the villagers in order to advance to the next level. It’s actually a really elegant design that affords some neat depth.

It’s also really visually pleasing (with colorful untextured “flat design” assets) with some suitably relaxing music. It’s actually a really great game but...

Feedback for Developer:
The introduction tutorial has a written copy that is likely from someone who’s first language may not have been English. Normally I’m charitable to people from different locales, but the phrasing is poor enough to make the first few experiences with the game needlessly more confusing and startling than it needs to be for no reason other than communication problems.

Secondly, while the game lets you zoom in and zoom out to see how pretty the game looks, the game’s controls experience a lot of inconsistent behavior at certain levels of zoom (I liked playing somewhat zoomed out on a smaller phone). Basically what happens is that you’ll begin a drag gesture but then the arrow that indicates where the building will be created will just suddenly stop responding to inputs while my finger is still held down from that same drag gesture. This same behavior doesn’t happen when I’m zoomed in, but the game is a lot less easy to play when not fully zoomed out. Honestly, even though the game is pretty, one suggestion I’d make is just to lock the camera at a single zoom level so fine-tuning the drag gesture code is easier. You could still have neat camera animations in-between levels starting and completing. I’m sure if you watched people playtesting your game you’ll see that 95% of the time people play at the same zoom level and only really care about zooming in to see the pretty visuals during the first 3-4 minutes of play. Just a personal suggestion! I respect you offering zoom controls but the control issues that arise from it are not a fun tradeoff if you could solve that.

If you fixed those two issues (the tutorial written copy and the control issues at different zoom levels) I’d easily give this game five stars! Awesome work though!

### 3/5 — Stuck

*2020-12-24*

Sculptures level 5 is impossible??

**Developer response:** Hi there! Thanks for playing and rating Puzzle Pelago!

Yes, all the levels are indeed solvable! If you need assistance you can either ask at the Puzzle Pelago Discord server or search for solutions online.

Happy new year!

### 5/5 — Fab wee game

*2022-08-14, version 1.1.0*

I really loved this game. Can’t wait for more levels!

### 5/5 — Fun Puzzler

*2022-06-01*

This game is fun. The puzzles are challenging without being impossible. It gave me a sense of accomplishment when I solved the most difficult challenges. The little fireworks that occur and the word “Success” that pops up had me celebrating along with the little towns. Also the graphics are cute and the music is pleasant. Hoping the developers update with more puzzles. I’m a fan. 🥰

### 5/5 — Unique puzzle game

*2022-04-23*

It took me a bit to get used to the rules. It’s not very intuitive, but once you understand how it works it’s a pretty fun game. Even though there is no a whole lot of various combinations, it can be easy to get confused on how to make stuff. Clicking the houses to see the steps really helped. Hope to see more levels in the future!

### 5/5 — Anno 1602 as a puzzle

*2022-01-24, version 1.1.0*

Fun little puzzle game, that reminds me of the commodity cycles found in city builders like Anno 1602. The levels are short and manageable even for people that are not that into puzzle games.

### 5/5 — лучшая головоломка

*2022-01-23*

слов нет, насколько она приятная и насколько местами сложная, а разгадка и осваивание механик, это просто наслаждение, покупайте не задумывайтесь.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2022-01-22*

I really like the progression of the chapters. This game is very well laid out and I’m enjoying the brain teasers!

### 5/5 — Just started

*2022-01-20, version 1.1.0*

Finished two chapters - nice design and good puzzles. I really do like the design though.

### 5/5 — Very clever and engaging!

*2020-12-20*

I think this is a very well done puzzle game. Some of the levels are quite tricky and others take less time but are still fun to solve — if you like puzzles I really recommend it!

### 5/5 — 5 stars but there are problems

*2020-04-17*

I think that this game is really creative although I think that the pictures showcasing the game don’t do it justice. There definitely needs to be a video of what the game is like because this game is totally different than I expected it to be (which personally this is better than I thought it would be)
I think there should be an option in the settings that disables the white hand that tells you to blow up stuff because it can get annoying. Also I personally wish there was an easier way to get rid of things other than the bomb. Maybe a simple double tap to destroy stuff instead of having to reach your thumb the whole way up and then double tapping. Other than that this is an interesting puzzle game.

### 5/5 — Fun game but small bug

*2020-03-18*

Very fun game. Only minor problem is whenever I make barrels it won’t let me drag the barrel to another square, so I have to keep removing and remaking the barrel until eventually I can use it to make new buildings

**Developer response:** Hi there! Developer here! I have recently found the reason for the bug and will issue a bug fix soon. For the time being you can prevent this bug from happening by releasing the finger a bit later when placing the barrels building, since the bug is timing related.
Thank you for playing!
Christopher
