BUT *2024-10-16, version 1.13.2* Firstly I absolutely love this game. The concept is excellent and the gameplay most of the time is great. But the amount of times you get matched against someone and they get matches of 10+ and you can’t make more than a four is crazy. Simply cannot be random. Seems to spend money, which I’m not willing to do on games. Such a pity as I do love the concept of the game. ### 3/5 — Good but could be better *2024-08-09, version 1.12.12* The game is fun but with no chat feature it makes it hard to find a clan that is active. Also no way to see what clan opponents are in if you want to join them. Clan system needs to be revamped also add a chat feature ### 4/5 — So very very close *2024-05-25, version 1.12.12* This is probably one of the best F2P puzzle battle games I’ve ever played, i am not F2P but i enjoy doing the monthly season pass and thats about it, however why did the weekend tournaments stop, and why does it say max valor cap is 140 at max level, however characters get capped at 100 valor and can’t go over it even legendary characters, those are the only 2 reasons why this is just short of a true 5 star game for me, and im usually bored of games very quickly but this one has actually held my attention and daily play for over a year now and is still phenomenal to play every day trying to max things out ### 3/5 — Make the game more balanced *2024-02-07, version 1.12.12* The game is fun but it’s wildly unbalanced. I would like you to have rating based matchmaking or add a surrender option for the battles. I keep being matched up with players who have level 18+ heroes with 800+ health while i only have level 15 heroes with 600 health. I end up closing the game for a minute to do something else because playing those games is a waste of time. And please either reduce the time to get keys or just take the Clash Royale chest mechanic, having to wait a full day to get 5 keys that can’t open a regular box is frustrating. ### 3/5 — Where did the free gems go? *2024-01-30, version 1.12.11* I really like this game but for some reason the gyms that were free are now gone and the price of the extra power up has gone from 20 to 30. It made the game more flexible and playable for those willing to go through the effort of watching the ads to improve their game play. Can this be fixed and I’ll definitely give 5 stars. Thanks JimCactus ### 3/5 — Great at first! *2024-01-16, version 1.12.9* I downloaded this game because I was looking for something new that I could play real quick and not have to spend hours playing. I was able to build my heroes up fairly quickly to lvl 18, and then it took some time to get them to lvl 22. But for some reason the game has completely changed after the most recent update. For example if you are in a clan you can do what is called Glory Road. I could get to the Boss and even Granny on a constant basis. Now I can’t make it past the Mexican lvl (which are lvl 18 heroes) and I have lvl 22. The color tile drops are so completely one sided it is ridiculous. I might be able to string together 6 in a row where the “opponent” or bot would easily get 10-12, it’s so bad that because they get so many color tiles, they are able to steal my character with ease. I thought maybe it was me and I have been going through a rough patch, this has been happening now for well over a month. It’s unfortunate now and looks like I will be going back to one of my old tile matching games. ### 2/5 — Game play *2024-01-05, version 1.12.9* This is about the most uneven playing puzzle game I have ever played. The matchup between players is always so one sided either you get a crap load of matches or the opponent gets all the color matches . After losing 16 matches straight before getting a win it might be time to find a better game. Sorry but it needs a lot of work to balance the game out. ### 2/5 — Mostly luck *2023-12-11, version 1.12.8* This game is 90% rng/luck and very little strategy involved. You are basically at the mercy of what tiles show up that determines if you win or lose. 99% of the time I can tell what move the opponent is going to choose which makes the game really boring, you always have to choose the largest color group no matter what which makes it too predicable and gets stale fast. ### 2/5 — So much potential, but just gets worse every patch *2023-11-24, version 1.12.7* I’ve been playing this game for a while. They keep adding features and continue to make it interesting however a couple items have made it worse; 1. The support is terrible. I don’t bother submitting anymore even after gathering all the evidence to support the problem…nothing. It’s never fixed and there is no compensation. 2. Given it’s a 4 colour systems it’s incredible how often the opponent get a ridiculous number of same colour drops. If I change 8 of a colour, it’s unbelievable how often the opponent will get a statistically improbable drop. I’ve seem a 8-9 sequence followed by a 8-9 like colour drop for my opponent. The equivalent of rolling multiple ‘1’ on a 4 sided die. It happens so often that it’s normal. I have friends that play this game. It’s noticeable. Over the last several updates, it’s gotten worse. This game is not worth playing anymore and it really can be fun. Too bad. Avoid this game! ### 2/5 — This game is awesome, but… *2023-11-23, version 1.12.7* … once you get to a certain level, the “people” you’re playing against (let’s be honest, they’re bots) suddenly have all the luck and opportunities in the world to beat you; no matter what you do, however you anticipate your and your opponents moves, you just don’t stand a chance. They’ll tease you and let you win a few games, raising your score just by a few points, and as soon as you’re advancing in the game, you’ll go in such a losing streak that you’ll lose a few hundred points and be stuck to where you’ve been for the past few weeks. Patterns I’ve noticed: 1) you start a game against an opponent that’s several levels above you: you start with players at lvl 15, they start with players at lvl 18 or lvl 22. Or their players are at lvl 15 as well but their valor is 50+ 2) a few moves into the game, the opponent will almost always have a better move than you: you get 5-6 tiles the same color, they get 12-15, or they steal your player 3) the opponent has all power tiles at the right time 4) you’re not playing real humans as advertised, you’re playing bots These patterns have happened several times, and there’s a difference between losing a game and not standing a chance in winning no matter what you do. I’ve already contacted the team, to which they’ve replied that my “feedback has been relayed to our development team and has been marked as a top priority for consideration.”, but I have yet to see any sort of improvement. It’s a shame, this game has so much potential but these issues make it very frustrating and make me want to delete the game in the end. ### 2/5 — Bad Algorithms That Make It Easy For Opponents To Win *2023-10-28, version 1.12.6* I love the concept of this game and have been playing for months. I have purchased my fair share of Puzzle Passes. I don’t mind the matchmaking as it seems to be set up as win = play somebody higher rated and lose = play somebody lower rated. Makes sense. What I absolutely despise is how tokens are generated in a game - or, at least, how they are generated for my opponents. The tokens on my side of the board seem relatively random most of the time. For my opponents? Even though there are four colors, the new tokens for my opponent are almost always the same color. So 6-9 new tokens hit the board and they are all the same color! On top of that…funny…it just happens to be a color they need to make a massive match AND use a power up! I’m sure this was all programmed in to make it more fair or more challenging or whatever. Stop it. Just stop. I can’t take this seriously as a skill based PvP puzzle game. And I’m also not inspired to spend more money on a game that’s not fair. Turn off your ridiculous algorithm and just have random tokens. It’s not challenging. It’s frustrating. ### 2/5 — Could be a great game, but falls short *2023-10-23, version 1.12.6* I liked the game originally. But the game is completely tile dependent. So if you get a bad board there’s no way you can win. You get 5 tiles, they get 15; you get 7 they get 12. 80% of the time I get a bad board. How is this supposed to be fun. The only thing I don’t like about it is that they make it so hard to upgrade your cards. It’ll cost like 16,000 coins to upgrade ONE card but you only get like 25 coins per win. I used to play all the time but now only play once in awhile because of that. I played for hours everyday and still couldn’t get enough to upgrade 🙄 ### 3/5 — Yeah sure *2023-08-27, version 1.12.3* Game is fun at first like everyone says. But matches are totally determined at the beginning. Opponent would magically have all same color tiles on their side not matter what strategy you use to try to disrupt their tile path. Even worth spending money on. Don’t kid yourself. The game is heavily monetized and even with higher level character you can stomped bc of the tiles and the way they fall. I’ve played many a game and mahjong is more fun. ### 1/5 — Fun At First, But Don’t Bother Going Further. *2023-12-19, version 1.12.8* Like the title says, the game is fun at first, but once you get past the first few arenas (currently at arena 4), good luck going further. The game has a weird way of completely turning against you in the middle of a match. For example, in the last match I played I had 200 more trophies than my opponent, my characters had higher base stats, I got them down to like 1/2-1/4 health fairly quickly. Then, out of nowhere, they started getting enough matches to get 40+lvl characters while I could barely make a lvl 20 character. Oh well, surely I can whittle away at their health to win. NOPE. They get a single turn that completely heals them to 100% and steals what few characters I had. And this isn’t a one-off match, either. It feels like it’s literally every match. ### 1/5 — Nope, could have a good game but nope *2023-12-04* No ads-awesome You can buy but you don’t have to-awesome Fun game that you can replay and not get bored-awesome I thought that until playing for a min. There is no rhyme or reason to the squares except for the opponent. They go first even more of a stomping you are gonna get. It’s not even a close but still feel like you put something into the match. Nope, you get your characters stolen, your characters get creamed every round, and just when you had more than 3 matches. The opponent has 10 and you lose and you die. Thanks but no thanks. If I want to get stomped without have a decent shot at taking them with me, I’ll play CoD. Let’s take forever to refill. If you start winning the game your opponent will only spawn one color on their side while you spawn four. Makes the game a joke.
