But I really love Little White Bear’s TanZen game, so I gave this one a try. It's smooth and has had no glitches/bugs the whole time I play! It's a very good app to pass the time because it has hundreds of puzzles, varying in difficulty, and shapes. The music, colors, and shapes of the puzzle give this app a happy atmosphere. The only things I would suggest is that you start out with a few hints when you first play the app, and that a few more background songs are added. I use the free hints which do ghost until the indicated piece is placed. After that, the ghosting disappears with no way of reviewing. Also, the finished puzzle disappears so quickly that it cannot be studied to see how everything fit into place. There’s not a way to skip a puzzle and come back to it later nor a way to retrieve competed puzzles to review them. The game is a good one, but needs several improvements to be great. ### 3/5 — Fun game and hard! *2016-11-13* Puzzle games should be fun and simple, but not too easy. This one gets a 4-5 for that. My caveat is that when you buy hints, and reset your puzzle you lose any hints you paid for. So don't reset a puzzle. It also had no ghost indication where your hints revealed at all. You can get 1 hint for watching an ad, unless you buy hints which I did. Then until you consume all your hints, you cannot. Developer could fix this but they won't, yet. 2 more stars are available, just not yet due to those issues. ### 3/5 — Waste of hints. *2015-05-02, version 1.2* Update: The game always freezes when you ask for 1 free hint. It's been doing this for weeks now. My rating is lowered because of it. I like these puzzles. Though my complaint is when you use a hint, sometimes it gives you a hint for a piece which you have already placed the exact piece on, thus wasting a hint. I'm not sure if this was intentional or a mistake. Also, I have not beat all puzzles yet, but it would be nice to have a feature to go back to look at puzzles you have already completed. ### 3/5 — It's fun but..... *2015-04-24, version 1.2* This game is really fun. I enjoy puzzlers but this game has its problems. Sometimes when I get a notification or do something else the phone freezes and I have to reopen the game again. It's done it too many times to where I barely play it. So if you fix that you get 5 stars. ### 4/5 — This innocent little game has me hooked! *2018-10-30* I’m a big fan of little white bear studios games. They are colorful, interesting, and keep me from going postal in waiting rooms. What more can anyone want? I have both versions of Puzzle Bits, as well as TriZen and more. The only thing I could wish for is to save my finished Puzzle Bits and Puzzle Bits 2 boards, then easily erase to start playing them again! ### 4/5 — Outside of the shape thinking *2017-03-04* Great game. Some puzzles are easy, some are very hard. Sometimes when you're sure you know where a piece goes, you later find a different place to put it. Even if the puzzle is asymmetric, be warned the pieces won't be so nice to you.
