In Cell Block there’s no instruction on how to choose an odd number of cells and I can’t work out how it works. Introductions are not clear. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! You pay (in-game currency) to unlock a puzzle but get the same amount of coins rewarded once the puzzle is completed, so I never ran out, and you could go back to archived games from weeks you missed. Always fun and it was ad-free. Now I don’t know if it was a glitch that my version was ad-free, but all of a sudden I now get an ad after every puzzle I play, and it has truly ruined the experience. It was one of the only ad-free puzzle apps out there, I loved it and I would literally spent hours on it, but now it’s ruined. I hate this era of hounding users with ads. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. I was looking forward to the new ‘Event’ puzzles - a new feature in the latest update. There’s a countdown clock now in the bottom corner of the home screen showing when the next ‘Event’ puzzles will be available but for several days now I’ve tried to open these new puzzles but NOTHING happens when you tap on them - they don’t work!! Recently the game just does not fully load, it goes straight to a screen with all the games and they’re stuck on the same one every day. Still does this after deleting and redownloading. Can’t tell if this is a glitch or the game is just supposed to be like this now, but can’t really play anymore **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your feedback! Kindest regards, Joanna, Customer Experience Team. ### 3/5 — great app, can’t play *2025-01-19* i really enjoyed using this app when i first got it because each puzzle gave a reward of the amount it cost to play however after about a week it stopped rewarding me with that and now the only way to get tokens with which to play puzzles is to wait for my one free puzzle a day, buy tokens, or subscribe to the paid version which has drastically decreased my enjoyment of the app. instead of it being something to help me relax and have fun, i now have to wait an entire day between each puzzle and choose very carefully which puzzle i play each day. If I were to ask anything, could you please, please add a feature where you can clear the whole puzzle to start over, rather than having to delete each individual cell. Without purchasing a monthly subscription, you have to spend scarce in-game currency to play each and every puzzle. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough gameplay as a free user to keep me around past 10 minutes. Game is designed well otherwise, but wouldn’t recommend in its current state. ### 4/5 — Problem with cryptic crossword *2024-12-05* I have only just installed this app and so far it has been great, until I got to the cryptic crosswords. What they didn’t mention is that it NOT free to play. ### 1/5 — Codewords *2025-08-05* Why is this puzzle no longer available. It’s a really good game but now tells me I’m not connected to the internet, when in fact all my other devices are fine. It’s really disappointing. **Developer response:** Hi there! This is a huge let down and the endless ads after each game drove me mad! Uninstalled it in the end ### 1/5 — Refused to work after viewing video *2025-06-12* I was already disappointed that the old sudoku puzzler app was no longer supported as I loved it. Then I find this inferior replacement app which doesn’t have the same easy game play, isn’t designed for iPads and doesn’t offer the option to buy puzzles, you have to win coins or watch videos. I gave it a chance, watched a video to access a puzzle. And it just froze on the video, wouldn’t let me back to the puzzle. I have now deleted it. What a disappointment. After the in-app shop didn’t seem to work when buying new puzzles, we found what looks like a new replacement app designed for phones which works completely differently and uses the awful pay-to-play coin model. Our old app will be completely useless after finishing the few remaining puzzles. ### 1/5 — Money hungry *2024-12-17* Cant even earn coins to keep playing anymore. You finish a game and only receive gems, meaning you cant play more than 1 game per day unless you want to spend on in app purchases.
