Extremely difficult to register and almost impossible to get it to work. Instructions useless. ### 2/5 — App review *2018-02-13* Prior to the last update, you used to see a percentage Hart showing at what capacity your system was working at which was handy so you knew there wasn’t any issues. Please bring this feature back !!!! ### 2/5 — The most useful feature removed *2018-02-05* Can you possibly bring back the “power” meter? Instead of the photography of panels. This update sees the removal of the dashboard dial that shows current solar generating capacity. Replaced by a static photo. Es ist eine absolute Frechheit, sowas auf den Markt zu bringen. Hätte ich gewusst, dass die Apps so schlecht sind, hätte ich mich für einen anderen Wechselrichter entschieden. ### 1/5 — Zeigt falsche Stromrichtung an *2022-12-18* App zeigt den Stromverbrauch immer in die falsche Richtung an. Hingegen Sems Portal die richtige Stromrichtung anzeigt. Dadurch leider unbrauchbar. Which I did however it’s show me that I am located somewhere in China (however I live in Australia) when to the website and tried to set this monitoring system up, however know it has block me altogether from my phone and my computer is still tell me I am in China. Go figure. Not happy! ### 1/5 — Hopeless App *2018-08-06* Really difficult to set up. Initial installer unable to help and had to send “specialist” along. Worked fine until I had to change to nbn then had to re-install. Managed that myself having watched the “specialist”. Somehow though, since one of their updates (which seem to make the app worse and worse” every now and then it stops sending information so my charts now have big gaps in them. Btw everyone with complaints 1) connect device to wifi 2) go to goodwe site - go to 'sales and support' click on 'monitoring website', login with your initial made account details and here you can edit everything including the location of the device. Refresh the app and done. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2016-09-01* The app has great functionality with its ability to dissect your Solar power generating capacity by hour, day, week, month, year or longer (but you need to go to their website to set up the feed in tariff, so the app can show you how much money you're 'making' by seeking back the solar power to the grid). But something was not right with the early version, or the current firmware built into the inverter, because in the past, the app would lose connection to the inverter (or server) and you'd see gaps in the daily chart, where it appears that no power was being generated, even though the inverter itself says that it was being generated (and the sun was fully shining the whole time). But over the last two days, the latest update to the app has been showing the whole day generating, which is great. Hopefully they've fixed this issue. Now... WHERE'S THE ENGLISH DESCRIPTION OF EVERYTHING?!? It's VERY annoying that everything is in chinese, even the app update description! Put up an English version immediately please!! ### 3/5 — Good but drains battery *2018-12-08* Works well if you setup an account before installing the app. If you tap on your inverter at the button, all the inverter vitals are displayed including the importance AC voltage. When your local grid has an excess of feedin from solar this voltage rises and trips the inverter. The app significantly drains my battery unless I kill it after each use. That is, double press home button and swipe the app upwards to stop it running - it then does not run in the background. ### 2/5 — Guter WR, träge SW *2023-04-01* Der Wechselrichter ist wirklich super. Allerdings ist die Software stark verbesserungsfähig. (zu träge, zeitweise unlogische bzw. falsche Anzeige) Und wieso funktionieren Sems Apps eigentlich nicht im Querformat??? Los Leute, das könnt ihr besser! ### 2/5 — Poor update *2020-02-20* Most recent update has no ability too show total PV generation for the day. Was about the only useful function it ever had and now it’s gone. May be an app aimed for installers more so than homeowners but why remove the function? ### 2/5 — Text too small *2019-07-27, version 3.6.4* The text in app is too small to read and colors too faint ### 2/5 — Need improvement *2018-08-25* It was working fine for about three weeks and suddenly Solar-WiFi connectivity stopped. Cannot access the local configuration directly from Solar-WiFi and cannot connect to home WiFi either. Not much diagnostics can be done through the app. System was installed on the 20th June 2018 but the app shows the warranty starts from September 2017. Location is unknown. ### 2/5 — Needs major improvements *2018-08-04* I have just installed this for our new system and it’s has lots of issues. It shows my location as being in the middle of the ocean near South Africa when I actually live in Australia. I select Australian currency from the dropdown but it displays as British pound for total income. As others have mentioned , the wifi setup is confusing . Lastly the graphs are not accurate for example the monthly Kw hours is a higher number that for the yearly view.
