### 3/5 — Jerky

*2025-07-26, version 5.12.9*

When pointing to a graph to move the time cursor, the graph becomes very jerky and in unstable. this happened after the last upgrade yesterday

### 2/5 — Tạm

*2025-02-06, version 5.10.1*

Giao diện kém, thường xuyên thị thoát ra phải đăng nhập lại. Luôn update mà chẳng hơn, thêm gì...

### 1/5 — Updates?

*2024-06-14, version 5.2.0*

Our app stopped tracking > one week ago.

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2024-06-11, version 5.2.0*

It was never the greatest app but now it hasn’t updated for nearly a week. It keeps saying 0 power.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2024-06-09, version 5.1.1*

Not working

### 1/5 — Sloppy app maintenance

*2024-06-07*

This app is useful when it works, however, updates are sloppy and break more than they fix. App frequently shows my system offline when it is not offline. That issue happens after most updates. App has degraded over the last 2 years to the point it is mostly non functioning.

### 2/5 — False Readings Since Last Upgrade

*2024-05-30*

Overall, I love this app. Previously, my only “wish”. Was that system status was closer to real-time. Since last week’s upgrade, however, the app routinely shows 0watts solar even after refreshing. Now, I can’t trust it.

### 1/5 — Don’t forget your passwords!

*2024-05-12, version 4.6.0*

No tech support if you forget your password! I have been locked out for several days after this stupid program updated!

### 2/5 — App is not worth the free cost

*2024-04-05, version 4.5.1*

This app is next to worthless. The monitoring screens do not update in real time. Latest version unusable on ipad with current version of ipados.

### 3/5 — Font size

*2024-01-29, version 4.2.2*

On the “power flow” is WAY too small. Hard to read even with my cheater eye glasses donned.

### 2/5 — Mediocre at best

*2023-12-08*

Very confusing layout and very hard to make some things work. Comparing to other apps, this one seems very outdated and hard to use.

Update: now the power flow disappeared and you need to shutdown the app and started again to see the power flow. Every app update gets worst!!

### 1/5 — Well…. It works

*2023-11-24, version 4.2.0*

Hard to believe that after ~2005 there would be an app launched with such a horrible UI, but here we are. At least it works.

### 2/5 — Pushes bad updates that break things

*2023-09-15*

Also, current version which they said to just revert to you shows incorrect graph data from previous day. This app could be so much better if they just keep a little more thought and QA.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App kém

*2026-02-09, version 5.12.22*

App kém không gui otp về mail hay bị thoát ra thường xuyên

### 1/5 — Cannot set parameters online

*2024-12-03, version 5.7.1*

Cannot set parameters online

### 1/5 — Horrible App. Once the password expires you are locked out forever

*2024-09-15, version 5.6.0*

I cannot believe how bad this app is.

Also I think the data is held in Red China.

### 1/5 — PV Pro

*2024-07-17, version 5.4.2*

For the last 2 months the app shows no power use or charging! My Solark inverter is working. The app is not showing any battery charge, kilowatt made or used!

### 1/5 — Caveat Emptor - User Agreement Nonsense

*2024-07-14, version 5.4.2*

I urge users to always read User Agreements rather than blindly accepting them . This app’s User Agreement is a perfect example of why. This agreement is utter nonsense. It is painfully obvious that it was not written by a competent contracts professional and/or reviewed by a competent attorney. It makes no sense whatsoever, and in places even states the opposite of what was (hopefully) meant! I will site a few examples, just for reference, but there are glaring issues with practically ever paragraph of the document. “1.2 All ownership right, explanation right and operation right of all PV-CSP or PV-APP services shall be possessed and covered by E-LINTER.” What does “covered” even mean in this context? “1.3 E-LINTER shall not cover the notification obligation. “ So, E-LINTER reserves the right to change the terms at any time, but feel no obligation to inform the other parties to the agreement? Wow! 2.Attentions 2.1 After the completion of registration, you should keep confidential all account numbers and passwords, and you should disclose the same to any unauthorized third party.” So, let me get this straight - you WANT us to share our account number and password with unauthorized third parties? Starting to see a problem here? “3.2 A client shall comply with relevant laws and regulations, shall not upload any illegal information, and shall not infringe any patent right, copyright, trademark right, reputation right or legitimate interest of any third party. In case of violation, the client shall independently cover and bear all liabilities.” So, we are expected to protect E-LINTER’s reputation? Let’s see them come after me for my review of their absurd User Agreement. They’ll need an attorney for that… “3.3 A client shall carefully keep its PV-CSP or PV-APP account numbers and passwords.” Do they mean we should keep them “secure”? “4.1 E-LINTER will not publicize, or provide any third party with individual client's registration information and the client's non-publicity contents in PV-CSP or PV-APP when it uses PV-CSP or PV-APP, except any of the following circumstances: … (5) If E-LINTER is to improve the service quality of PV-CSP or PV-APP.” So, it’s OK to disclose client’s “non-publicity contents”, as long as it improves the service quality of the app? I don’t think so! “While we use reasonable measures to protect information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff, we cannot guarantee the security of account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of account information at any time. We cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us…”. So, is it standard procedure that workers in China who have access to your private information aren’t required to not steal it for their own use? Asking for a friend. Finally, it seems ALAPAKI feels compelled to defend this app with his rebuttal “review”. Could it be because it is the only app available to use with the systems he installs? He berates other reviewers and even other solar installers in defense of this pathetic app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2024-07-05, version 5.4.1*

The initial app worked well. Now it doesn’t work at all. Why did they upgrade it?

### 1/5 — No data for a month

*2024-07-04, version 5.4.1*

Well, there’s been two updates to this app, and I still am unable to view my system

This app is complete garbage. Not having visibility into my solar system is not a good thing fortunately it’s summer so I don’t have to worry too much but if it was winter, I wouldn’t be traveling and leaving my system unattended.

### 1/5 — No data

*2024-06-29, version 5.3.0*

This APP was working for a year, then suddenly it is not collecting data; I have to physically go to my inverter to double check usage.
Is there a glitch??? Any help???

### 1/5 — What happened to the readings?

*2024-06-17, version 5.2.2*

I get that they are trying to improve it, but I’ve been 13 days with everything saying 0W. Too long for them to fix a bug or provide a reasonable ETA or communication as to when it will be fixed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — User

*2026-05-15*

The accuracy of the information differs from the device data, even though the internet connection is good. Also, the application often appears offline despite the signal being available.

### 5/5 — Why low ratings?

*2026-04-02*

So, I’ve been using this app for 6 months and I don’t understand the low ratings, I see all the info I could need and there is a lot more info, I can change my inverter setting, I can change my battery settings from anywhere, any time. Once after an update the realtime reading broke, I emailed the developer, they confirmed the bug after the update and they fixed it like 2 days later. The app probably is too technical for some people, but the app is far from bad. I think it’s great.

### 5/5 — App funktioniert tadellos!

*2024-10-03, version 5.6.1*

### 5/5 — Installer with over 50 plants, not the illegal kind

*2023-08-25*

To reiterate “DieselArt”s post, this app has way more data for your inverter (and EVERYTHING connected to it) than you could possibly get from any other means.

A rant for those users that have given 1 star because they don’t know how to use a product:

If you don’t want to give your main email then use an alternate. I’ve never been asked for my phone number. If you still have a tinfoil hat on you can also give your inverter inaccurate personal information so you can sleep at night knowing the Illuminati won’t know your address. You can remove your dongle when not in use.

If you don’t like that it is the only monitoring app out there then develops your own.

Your phone has a dimmer if the app is too bright. It is bad for your eyes to use screens in dark rooms, turn on the lights.

I have not experienced any bugs, close the app and reopen it if something seems off.

If you don’t like foreign developed apps then you really don’t want to know where the computer chips in your inverters are from.

If you want real-time, down to the second plant information then stand up, walk to your inverter and look at the screen. The app will update every few minute or less if you refresh the page.

If your solar company didn’t help you to share your plant properly then you likely hired the wrong people. That happens when you choose the lowest bid just because it was the cheapest. This also covers “inaccurate” plant data due to installers using the wrong time method, PVkw or pricing. Perhaps the solar company should get the 1 star instead of the app.

Some guy gave a 1 star because he has to sign in occasionally, pathetically lazy and ignorant!

A lot of these 2 stars say they’re mad that they don’t know how to use a product that they have never used before, it is called learning. Practice learning.

### 5/5 — Best app for the best Inverter in the market

*2022-08-27*

I’ve been using this app for a few months now and after the initial learning curve I’ve learned to love the data being right at my fingertips.
That being said, this app isn’t for everyone.
Even with my electrical engineer background
some of the features available in this app were
not exactly intuitive. Once I learned what’s
available in this app I’m amazed how useful it is.
I would suggest to anyone that has a hard time operating their ring cameras maybe stay away from this app. It’s obvious that this app was created by engineers jamming everything they could into it. Anyway it short I find this app is nothing short of amazing approaching 99% perfect. Luckily it is continuing to evolve and improve. Hopefully people will hesitate to leave one star reviews simply because of their ignorance. If this app is too hard for you to understand maybe switch to something more
consumer friendly and watered down like a Victron cerbo GX.

### 5/5 — Pretty solid app, a couple small fixes would be nice

*2021-11-28, version 3.1.2*

If you could make the weather portion interface with weather.com or accuweather that would be cool. Just allow the zip code to be used for the lookup and then populate based on that.

Everything else works very well in this version. It would be cool if there could be some year over year comparisons for energy use, generation, etc, but those would be enhancements.

Overall, this app works very well.

### 4/5 — Recent upgrade issues

*2024-04-01*

Please put the Power Flow back.i rely on it for maintaining systems when I am not at this remote off grid site. Please put it back to functioning.
SAH

### 4/5 — Great app but a bit over complicated

*2023-10-19*

The app is great but its a bit cramped with loads of options that basically lead to the same information.

Would recommend/love to see Dark mode! Please make it happen! It could be added under the personalization settings.

### 4/5 — Okay

*2023-07-26*

Has a few issues. Like logical view just constantly reloads and never displays properly most of the time. The cost/payback stat doesn’t take into account that the rate can change over time, or can vary during a day or even account for all the different types of buyback. But minor issues aside, it does a pretty good job of monitoring your PV system overall.
