Rebooted phone and still crashed. Ran on iPhone 13 Pro running IOS 16.0.2. I don’t see it after 2 months of using. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Excellent App *2022-07-06, version 10.0* PV Solar Forecast is an ideal Application for anyone who has Solar Panels installed. It does everything that it says on the tin and if you have any problems just contact Igor the developer and he will try to address your concerns. I had a problem with seeing some data on my iPhone SE because of its smallish screen but I reported it to Igor and he fixed it on the latest upgrade. Well worth the Subscription. ### 4/5 — Great app but too big for RV *2023-04-26, version 15.0* App seems very useful for setup and testing of an rv system. However it’s monthly derive fee is high for my application. I see they made an RV lite version for android but nothing for iOS. I’d be willing to pay a one time fee but not subscription. I just wouldn’t use it enough. A smaller version to allow 50-800watt systems would be nice ### 4/5 — DC / Inverter Power *2023-01-02, version 13.0* Inverter power 5 kW DC power 5.5 kW If I increase the dc power to 7 kW, the yield does not increase. I would have thought that the yield should increase, especially when it is cloudy. ### 4/5 — Very handy! *2022-07-14, version 10.0* A handy app although quite expensive. Removed a star for the following: 1. Blue font is almost unreadable in some screens 2. Current days total prediction is missing for some reason. I can see hourly, and future days but not today (v. weird) 3. Only supports two aspects. 4. Graph of predicted generation over all aspects would be great. Currently just a list of expected gen per hour. A Apple Watch Funktion would be also very nice. 20 € per year would be perfect :-) ### 4/5 — $10 a month? *2020-12-30, version 7.0* Listen, app so looks good, but I hate the monthly paywall. I wish it was one time payment not monthly fee. Free 24 hour prediction unless you pay $10/month. Also, needs a feature where you enter your actual KWH production and it adjusts future projections based on how far off it was from past performance. ### 3/5 — Puzzling *2024-09-15, version 19.0* This App isn’t as intuitive as I’d hoped. Dealing with two arrays on different orientated roof pitches wasn’t simple to configure - only one can be viewed at a time. I’d like to be able to display the combined generation forecast and see that on a single screen as both strings are connected through a common inverter. The displayed data is not clear to me yet; how i can utilise it in the best way in terms of making decisions about whether to force charge/discharge batteries or not. Early days, but not the easiest to understand by a reasonably informed householder to enable useful decision-making. ### 3/5 — Not sure what to think *2021-04-24, version 8.0* My 300 watt (.3KW) 12V system recharged me every day other than cloudiest days. But I was curious to predict my solar efficacy. So I downloaded this. Don’t know what to think! I was pouring in 19V at 8A and the app is showing .07KW for me. The numbers are half what I’m doing. I’ll keep monitoring over time. I just wish I got 5 days or even three days but ‘one day’ is all you get and pretty much at that point you just about already know. Not much to plan for. If the numbers matched up better I’d feel better about but my skepticism isn’t assuaged yet. ### 2/5 — Temperature *2026-06-21, version 21.0* No temps displayed ### 2/5 — Geometrie stimmt leider nicht *2025-04-29, version 20.0* Die App soll den Gesamtertrag von bis zu 4 Teilanlagen mit unterschiedlichen Ausrichtungen berechnen, das ist zunächst vielversprechend. Aber wie kann es sein, dass an einem wolkenlosen Tag mit Sonnenuntergang um 20:40 die Prognose um 15:00 einbricht und um 16:00 auf null ist, trotz Ausrichtung eines Teils der Anlage nach Südwesten? Das kann nicht sein, andere Apps weisen Ertrag bis nach 20:00 aus. Das kann nur auf ein fehlerhaftes geometrisches Modell schließen.
