## What is PvCheck?

PvCheck is a mobile app that streamlines the Solar PV module warranty process by providing automated and easy to fill forms, trouble-shooting guidance & education, OEM qualified failure mode data collection templates & checklists and automated professional report generation and distribution with embedded mail composer. Apart from this primary feature of the app it also includes an Audit workflow solution for customers needing a Solar PV system health/condition checkup, audit compliance, system upgrade assessments or general maintenance inspections.

Other sub menus in the home screen of the app include a Defect library with extensive information on all PV module failure modes recorded in academic literacy including additional information from OEM R&D and technical departments. There is a 450+ contacts directory for OEM manufacturers including PV modules, inverters, batteries & mounting kits suppliers. There is also a interactive satellite map that geolocates with pin markers for all available PV module recyclers, storage facilities and drop off points for damaged or EOL panels. Lastly there is a completed jobs page which records and stores history of all completed reports/jobs.

The intended primary users for the app are solar technicians and aims to provide the following benefits to their businesses:

- Revised the solar panel serial number detection function to be more robust and handle more complex serial numbers, combinations and conditions.
- Improved performance of image upload & smooth handling of large photo collection lists making it more robust for large residential or commercial solar systems.
- Removed the large default white header giving more real estate for functional components of all screens.
- Added in NZ recycling facility location info and map markers on the map screen.
- New Analytics screen within the main menu which can provide insight into the users field data metrics and usage patterns.
