## Newest reviews (15 of 61)

### 3/5 — Great software, but…

*2023-02-14, version 3.4.2*

lot of issues on iOS 15.7.
For example a lot of times you can’t show on map the selected satellites, nor showing passages tracks.
It seems that the App is very low, or entitely not responding, in applying changes to settings.
Please keep on developing this great App!

### 2/5 — It’s completely broken, now.

*2020-12-20, version 3.0*

This app was working fine, until the recent update. Everything in the GUI is completely unusable, the map is the wrong size and the satellite coordinates are missing. I’ve tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Doesn’t work on iPhone XS, iPad Air 2 or iPad Pro 12.9. All are running IOS 14.2

### 3/5 — Please add Apple Watch app

*2016-11-01, version 2.5.1*

Needs Apple Watch app and iOS 10 support.

Needs to utilize built in compass, accelerometer, and GPS.

Not easy to switch viewing modes. Needs a button instead of having to rotate iPhone.

Needs to show more info on each satellite. Such as uplink and downlink frequencies for ham radio satellites.

Should have option to show daylight and night areas on map.

Needs to be able to switch between 12 & 24 hour clock modes.

Not easy to tell when a satellite will next be passing my location.

Needs to utilize accelerometer for augmented reality view.

### 4/5 — Not working

*2015-05-05, version 2.5.0*

The app was working until the latest update. Selecting the Menu produces a grey line on the screen and nothing else. Unable to select any satellites or other functions. Previous version worked well. The developer's website link does not work either!

### 4/5 — Don't work

*2015-04-29, version 2.5.0*

This is a good app but it no longer works on my iPad after the last OS update !!!!

### 2/5 — Latest update broken

*2015-04-09, version 2.5.0*

The display tracj button does not work and the menu button just displays a white stripe on the left side of the screen. Using an iPad with OS 8.1.

### 4/5 — Good but one question

*2014-02-22, version Z.4.0*

Good app. I use for amateur radio satellites plus the ISS.
When I have used the time bar at the bottom is there a quicker way to reset the time back to 'now'?
If I do it manually it takes time but also seems to lose time afterwards even though it shows the clock ticking away?

### 4/5 — Cool

*2013-11-16, version Z.4.0*

Cool app once you figure out how to use it. I would love to know how fast the satellite is moving, not just relV and what the satellite does :)

### 4/5 — Good app

*2013-10-06, version Z.4.0*

Agree with m0aeu re other reviewers. The key thing is that when you go to one of the sites to download satellites, you have to press the refresh button otherwise the list looks empty. Re changing location, the app calls location "station." Work it out guys!

### 1/5 — Ne fonctionne plus

*2013-09-12, version Z.4.0*

Plus de mise à jour des tle
Le site internet semble ne plus exister

### 2/5 — Terse user interface

*2013-08-18, version Z.4.0*

I have been predicting satellite passes since 1999. This app was hard to figure out. Relatively easy to find the features and set them up. Harder to save my changes into the app. So far, it is unclear why I am not seeing passes for all the satellites I have loaded.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2013-06-15, version Z.4.0*

It lacks a few essentials like actually working, it shows only one satellite which never moves!

### 2/5 — iPhone 5

*2013-06-15, version Z.4.0*

Great concept but needs more work. Doesn't work properly on IPhone 5. Tutorials are not broad enough. Would be happy to pay if it worked. What are the yellow and white dots? The satellite moves all over the place when you zoom in and out. It is not sitting on the track.

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2013-04-27, version Z.4.0*

It is a bit tricky to get used to but once you master it, it's a good tool.

### 2/5 — Powerful features with a poor interface

*2013-04-07, version Z.4.0*

When editing a "site" it often doesn't take the changes I make to the position. Lucky I have one at my home's location. Adding satellites works ok once you realise you need to hit refresh as the data it comes with is out of date. It only gives a limited number of future passes, not enough to show when the next good evening or morning pass will be.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Better a decade ago

*2025-08-16, version 3.5*

This app was better 10 years ago. Nowadays we can't even search for satellites—and how the hell does adding TLEs even work? Oh right—it doesn't.

### 1/5 — Difficult to navigate

*2024-12-25, version 3.5*

Could not get app to track ISS or any other satellite for amateur radio. Data base of satellites was found but would not load or display. Could not find how to display predicted pass path. Maybe operator error, maybe function doesn’t exist

### 1/5 — Bloccato

*2021-11-18, version 3.0*

Dopo aggiornamento a iOS 15 non funziona più

### 1/5 — Useless

*2015-08-03, version 2.5.1*

Crashing all the time.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2015-05-24, version 2.5.1*

New update doesn't work. Unable to select plot line. Will have to go back to old version again !!!

### 1/5 — Problèmes depuis la dernière mise à jour

*2015-04-30, version 2.5.0*

Ne fonctionne plus depuis la dernière mise à jour? Impossible de rentrer dans les paramètres de l'application. Blocage total sur mon iPad malgré la désinstallation et la réinstallation....

### 1/5 — iPad mini

*2015-04-07, version 2.5.0*

Dopo l'ultimo aggiornamento non funziona !

### 1/5 — Doesn't do anything

*2015-01-20, version Z.4.0*

I open it and all there is is a circle with lines thru it. There's nothing about satellites in here.

### 1/5 — You get what you pay for!

*2014-02-07, version Z.4.0*

Worthless.

### 1/5 — Deleted

*2013-10-12, version Z.4.0*

... After 10 minutes of nothing but frustration. The developer should have gotten some user feedback (apart from his/her own) before publishing this thing. No clue how to get the view of earth that's shown on the App Store preview. Also needs some spell checking - that must be embarrassing.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — J’adore

*2024-08-24, version 3.5*

### 5/5 — Woo Hoo, ISS Icon is back

*2022-08-31, version 3.4.1*

Thank you! Sure makes locating the station easier if you have a dozen or more satellites you are following.

Great stuff.

### 5/5 — New release is perfect

*2015-04-07, version 2.5.0*

April 7, 2015
Finally, app was updated and works perfectly on my iPhone 6+. Now, I can give it the same review as I would have pre-iPhone 6 and iOS 8. Love it.

Below was review from December 12, 2014 that caused a 2 star review
I used to use this app all the time. Now that I upgraded to iPhone 6+, the maps do not display. You get tracks snd satellites but no map.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2013-07-10, version Z.4.0*

Rien d'autre à ajouter.....

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2013-06-08*

For those who find this app too difficult to use, you probably don't need the app or don't have a use for it. Those who do have a use for this app (other than just wanting to know what's above you), you'll probably know how to figure it out.

This app is great for amateur radio operators who want a good way to track the location of objects like GOES, POES, OSCAR, and many other radio-enabled satellites including the ISS and Soyuz.

You can manually enter individual satellites, insert URLs to download TLE telemetries, or use the preinstalled TLEs to track objects.

It's never been so easy for me to track my antennae and follow a target!

### 5/5 — Works well!

*2013-02-22, version Z.4.0*

Think the other reviewers need to work out what they are doing! Took me 5 minutes to work it all out and configure it for my location and the satellites I wanted. Yes there could be refinements, but to know what's going to be in range and where, it's great! ...and it's free!

### 5/5 — A Super App

*2012-10-08, version Z.4.0*

I use it to primarily track Amateur Radio Satellites.
It does a super job, also like to track the International Space Stn.
Also like to track Tiangong 1, the Chinese Space Station.

### 5/5 — Bravo

*2012-07-27, version Z.4.0*

Super appli mon ptit Xav ! A bientot Stic

### 5/5 — Great application, even for professionals

*2012-01-31, version Z.4.0*

I use this app to track various satellites and their passages over my ground station.
It's a must-have!

### 5/5 — Application Géniale

*2012-01-02, version 2.3.1*

Très simple d'utilisation, positionnez votre station, chargez les TLE et sélectionnez les satellites qui vous intéressent et hop le tour est joué, vous pouvez suivre en directe les passages Satellites. Sympas les notifications.
