## What is Pybot Labs?

PyBot Labs turns coding into something you can touch. Drag Scratch-style blocks or write real Python — either way, your code controls actual hardware: motors spin, LEDs light up, sensors respond. No simulators, no guessing what your program "would" do.

The full drag-and-drop block editor and Python code editor — write, upload, and run programs on your Beaver Board directly from the app.

ON IPHONE
PyBot Labs is your wireless remote: connect to your Beaver Board over Bluetooth and drive it live with an on-screen joystick, browse tutorials, and manage your account. Write and upload your code on iPad or a computer first, then come back to iPhone to drive.

WHAT YOU NEED
PyBot Labs works with a Raspberry Pi Pico W running MicroPython (a "Beaver Board" or any compatible Pico W setup). You don't need one to explore the tutorials — but connecting real hardware is where it comes alive.

Improved Bluetooth reliability
- Reconnecting to your robot is now much more dependable. If your robot was already running a program, connecting to it now properly pauses it first — so uploading new code always works as expected, instead of sometimes failing partway through.
- We also fixed a couple of issues that could cause the Bluetooth connection to drop unexpectedly during use.

Bug fixes: device readings now open correctly from My Devices (previously bounced back to the home screen), and the My Projects action row no longer overflows off-screen on iPhone.

Drive your robot live with a virtual on-screen joystick — no extra hardware needed.
• Upload a small program from the Blockly or Python editor, then open Remote Control to drive forward, backward, left, and right with a draggable joystick
• Attach to a robot that's already running — no need to restart your program
• New "remote command" block in Blockly, and pybot.remote.command() in Python, so you can customize exactly how your robot responds
• Built-in safety stop: if the connection drops, the robot stops automatically
• Quick access to Remote Control from My Projects
