## What is Pylon?

Pylon is the native iOS app for your organization's Field Operations Platform — the same web app your team already uses, with native speed and field-ready tools.

Built for technicians, dispatchers, and managers in the field:
• Receive and complete jobs with photo and video documentation
• Native push notifications and app-icon badges for new and updated work
• Full-screen camera with pinch-to-zoom for inspecting devices and sites
• Face ID / Touch ID confirmation for sensitive actions
• A terminal key bar for on-site SSH work
• One-tap setup — open the link your administrator sends and you're ready

Pylon is a secure shell: it only opens the recognized, authorized deployment your organization uses — it is not a general-purpose web browser. Your session stays on your device.

Just exploring? Tap "Try the live demo" on the first screen to walk through the full app with sample data — no account or sign-in required.

Pylon is published by Logan Technology LLC. Your organization operates the platform Pylon connects to; your account and work data are managed by them.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-30

• Finishing a job, done properly — record the parts that came off your van (or say you used none), write the end-of-job report in the same step, and read it back on the job afterwards. Your organization decides whether either step is required.
• Follow Up Needed — raise a follow-up job straight from the one you're finishing. It lands in the office's triage queue, linked to the original.
• Parts Used — a card on the job itself, so a job that gets reopened still has somewhere to record a part.
• On call — a separate support rotation alongside the technician one, each with its own handover day. Managers assign either from the schedule.
• Notifications you can trust — the schedule and the people list now show when someone's phone has actually stopped receiving notifications, and tell the difference between "not getting them now" and "will stop soon". Pick who should be told if a particular person goes quiet.
• Fixes — the app now asks iOS for a notification token properly, so push works where it silently didn't; a note stays above the keyboard as you type; tapping a notification about jobs awaiting review opens that list; a manager's note is no longer forced private; converted leads and closed opportunities stay visible; billing totals now match the office on discounted and contract-covered work; and swapping a device no longer moves monitoring to the wrong unit.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-19

• My Van — see what's on your truck, what you're short on, and record what you used with a tap. Driving more than one van? Pick the one you're in today, and run a full count when you restock.
• Time off — request PTO and see your upcoming days off without leaving the app. Scheduling a job now warns you if the assignee is off that day.
• Quotes — turn an accepted quote into a project in one step, see a "Converted" badge on the ones already done, and filter the list by what's left.
• Tasks — @mention a teammate in a note, see and change the job's project, read site credentials right in Site info, and see the whole-job discount on billing.
• Site alerts — managers can set per-site offline thresholds, choose who gets notified, and send a test alert to their own device.
• Fixes — the Power cycle button now appears on iOS; a permission change takes effect on the next refresh instead of requiring a sign-out; and device sync no longer leaves a partial site list behind.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-13

• Pylon now offers to turn on the Face ID lock right after you sign in, and it's cleared automatically when you sign out. You can change it anytime in App Settings.
• Fixed: tapping a notification right after opening the app now reliably opens its task.
• Fixed: dashboard workload counts and colors now match the filtered task list.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-10

• Now a completely native iOS app. No longer a web wrapper. Full sync and cached data right on your device.
• Delete a photo or video you uploaded by mistake — right from the task, with undo. Start/end photos update the task's timeline automatically.
• Tap a technician or customer on the Dashboard to jump straight to their filtered tasks.
• You now stay signed out cleanly when your session expires, instead of the app silently failing until you relaunch.
• The setup screen's menu now links Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Support, and shows the app version.
