Straightforward
I’ve been using this app with my pyramid Wi-Fi for a while now and overall it’s been a good experience. Setup was quick. The app found my device right away and let me get connected without messing around with passwords and logins. It’s clearly made for people who want things to just work without needing to dive into technical settings.
The main screen is straightforward. I can turn the VPN on or off, choose a location, and see what devices are connected. It also has ad and tracker blocking, which I didn’t expect to care about but has improved browsing on some sites.
A couple of things could be better. The app sometimes takes a moment to sync with the router, especially if I haven’t used it in a while. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. I’d also like a bit more detail on the VPN connection like status or recent activity just for peace of mind.

Scam merchants
I signed up for what was pitched as a two-year subscription with Pyramid WiFi, only to have my expectations dashed at every turn. They claimed my plan amounted to 700 days of service—a baffling calculation that scarcely equates to two full years. It feels less like a commitment to quality and more like an arbitrary figure designed to distract from the glaring shortcomings of their service.
The connection itself is nothing short of a nightmare. Imagine trying to access something as basic as reliable WiFi, only to be forced into a maddening maze of trial and error. Each attempt to connect feels like a convoluted puzzle with ever-changing rules, leaving you with a headache and only a vague recollection of the countless, frustrating steps you had to memorise just to get online for a few minutes.
But the final blow comes with the unauthorised debits from my bank account. Even after I decided to sever all ties with their substandard service, Pyramid WiFi had the audacity to drain funds without permission. It is one thing to deliver an unreliable product; it is quite another entirely to overstep legal and ethical boundaries by dipping into your finances uninvited.
In short, Pyramid WiFi is a masterclass in incompetence and corporate disregard. Their inconsistent service, bizarre subscription metrics, and unethical billing practices make it abundantly clear: steer clear if you value your time, sanity, and hard-earned money.
