THIEVES! SCAM ALERT *2018-08-17* Wish there was an option for 0 stars. Just terrible. I should’ve read the other reviews. I got Pythonista 3 instead. Luckily they didn’t steal my money at all. I type in print(“Hi, welcome to Ping Pong.”) and it won’t work, it will just say the console had an issue. I’m a professional programmer and even if you’re a novice. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! To the developers, there are no excuses whatsoever. Please Apple, delete this! The developer should give people money back. Just a pure scam. ### 1/5 — Not free *2018-05-25, version 11.1* You literally have to pay right from opening the app. I wanted to download it to see why the reviews were so bad and, with low expectations, was still disappointed. I was confused as to why it’s 600 KB. I use the app to try different ideas when I'm not around a computer. The app provides feedback when a program doesn't build enough to get me to the line of code causing the problem. All in all it is good basic app for writing Python code. To the reviewers complaining about charging for compilation, $1.99 for unlimited compiles is well worth the price. I enjoy using this app to type code. Two typing enhancements in this app make it a pleasure typing code in this app - a scrollable symbols line above the regular keyboard and the ability to move the cursor by dragging your finger - I wish the latter was a standard feature in iOS. Running code involves connecting to the internet. You can get 100 compilations for $1.99 or unlimited for $2.99, which seems fair. The server times out if the code is too long/slow, which basically limits how large a program you can write. So overall, this we is great for casual coding but probably wouldn't be suitable for a professional - probably no phone app would be though. ### 3/5 — I use it. *2018-11-04, version 11.1* I purchased the full version to practice writing python code. It works fine and it has worked each time I upgraded my iOS.
