As long as you don’t use a library package which calls a sub process library (eg:webbrowser, PIL), it won’t crash out with access permission errors.  For simple text output, works fine.
Maybe it will work with library packages when using the paid version? Personally I do not know and I am also quite unlikely to spend money on this app to find out.

This app is the best app I’ve found for creating, editing, and running python code. You can change the appearance of the app in settings to make it suit your preference better. So far there hasn’t been any pop up adds, just banners, but they are easy to ignore. The app fully functions without needing to purchase anything. The only problem I’ve come across is that i can’t load a python file that already exists on my phone. I know its there in files, but there is no option to load it. EDIT: There IS an option for loading files I just didn’t know where it was. When you are on the code editor, tap the arrow thing in the very top left corner, and then from there, tap MyCode Filepath and you can select the file you want to edit/run there.

Leider läst sich die App nicht öffnen (1 Sekunde lang wird der splash screen angezeigt und dann beendet sich die App/crash).

This app is not good at all. If you look at the code template you can see by default it has semicolons (this thing: “;”) in the script. The real python prints an error code if you use semicolons. The Apple Watch version says that it is unsupported when I try to execute the code (series 7). The editor doesn’t work right as well. When I use the editor it undoes deleted characters that I had previously typed.

Unfortunately I don‘t understand the interface. Left window is clear. Middle window too. I can run examples from middle window in the right window. However if I repeat the same examples manually by writing them into the right window then I get an error message. And I did not find a description of the interfaces. Even on the app support page of the author I could‘t see a place to ask a question. So this is an almost useless IDE for me.

E.g. executing print(“Hello“) from an example in the middle window works, but writing it directly into the execution window causes an error message. May be this is all documented in the standard python help files but a short walkthrough through the apps features with a few samples is the least I expect from an App writer.

If I find it, I‘ll increase my rating.

And do you know what it said?
Invalid syntax!!!!!
It can’t even process a print command!!! How can I trust it do anything?!!????
