I got the app hoping it would compile python files on the go. After downloading, i was asked to upgrade for other libraries which costs additional .

Bonjour,
J’ai validé pour un essai gratuit de 3 jours, mais l’application n’est pas fonctionnelle sur l’iPad, de toute façon je ne la souhaite plus. Je voulais faire un test.
Mais je ne trouve nullement l’application dans la liste des abonnements !
Merci de me confirmer très rapidement comment faire pour ne pas avoir à payer d’ici trois jours ?

When i click the left hand side program, it do not sync with terminal at the right hand side. Quite hard to change the folder when you want to click another program module at the left hand side.

For anyone looking for serious python scripting on an iPad/iPhone this app is good. I tried Pythonista too, and while I prefer it’s UI/user-friendliness, last time I checked it didn’t match Pyto in terms of third-party package support. I have to say though the app became overly buggy recently, 60% of the time a script is launched, the app crashed, rendering automation impossible. The developer is also no longer apparently maintaining the app

I’m new to Python programming and find the lack of documentation appalling. I expected some “growing pains” with learning a new language and editor, but think I’ll give up on the iPad version and probably just stick to programming on my Linux machine. 

I haven’t programmed in years but was proficient in C++, Machine Language and BASIC.

Мало того что весит почти гигабайт и скачивалось больше часа ТАК ЕЩЁ И ЭТА ПРОГРАММА ПЛАТНАЯ не программа для кода а не пойми что разрабы жадные идиоты, ну можно же сделать бесплатную урезанную версию но разрабы так видимо не решили

Overall I like the app.

Really wish I could shut off the autocomplete.  I spend so much time fixing the mess it creates.

I just want one option to shut off the autocomplete, autoindent, autobraces, autoquotes, and anything else that the editor wants to type for me.

For example…

for i in range(

The editor will add the closing parentheses. Then after typing the number I have to move the cursor to the end of the line to be able to type the colon.  It’s more work than just typing the two characters.

In addition, because of the terrible autocomplete,sometimes I end up with my typing appearing in the wrong place, random “m” characters when typing single quotes, and extra characters when the editor guesses incorrectly.

I just want to turn this garbage off.  The editor is really frustrating to use.

Vous pouvez faire tout ce que vous pourriez faire sur ordinateur. Libraries ... terminale ... . Certes cela reste plus restreint mais ... c'est comme même énorme : d'avancer sur ses projets dans le métro, bus, dans la rue, en marchant... Pratique non ?

You do have to pay to use it, but remember, most things like this are installed on PC or laptop (PC is immobile, neither are touchscreen) where you have to pay even more, MONTHLY. You do get a 3 day trial though, which helps. (Plus, the payments are one-time!)

J’ai testé de nombreuses applications  Python sous iOS et c’est celle-ci que j’ai choisi car beaucoup utilisent un interpréteur sur serveur qui ne fonctionne pas hors couverture et d’autres ont une console trop simple. J’aime aussi les librairies et les exemples spécifiques à iOS comme l’interface avec la musique ou celle avec la localisation. Et oui, j’ai payé car ce qui a de la valeur à un prix. 
Bien sûr comme pour tout programme des améliorations sont souhaitables. Voici les miennes par ordre de préférence :
- quand on ouvre un script, aller dans le mode édition pour pouvoir agir vite. 
- optimiser la vitesse de la console car dans tous mes programmes 95% du temps est pris par print()
- corriger certains exemples qui ne fonctionnent plus par déprécation.
