## What is Q?

Q-Tel is a messenger for people who take their privacy seriously.

NO PHONE NUMBER, NO E-MAIL
Your account is made of two keys that your device creates itself and that never leave it. Instead of a phone number you get a random Q-ID. Contacts are only added by personal invitation – there is no user directory and no random chat.

END-TO-END ENCRYPTED
Messages, photos, files and voice messages are end-to-end encrypted, and so are voice and video calls. Push notifications only say “New message” – never content or senders.

SAFETY CODE
Compare a safety code with your contact and see immediately if keys change.

DISAPPEARING MESSAGES
Set messages in a chat to disappear after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days.

Q VAULT
A separate area, additionally protected by code and Face ID, for photos, documents and notes – with folders. Contents are stored only in encrypted form on your device.

SIGN IN WITH Q-TEL
Sign in to supported websites with a QR code – no password, no e-mail. Each website only gets its own anonymous identifier.

SAFE AND FAIR
Report and block at any time. You can delete your account completely in the app.

Q-Tel is available in English, German, Turkish, Arabic and Spanish. Light and dark mode included.
