I’ve tried using faceID and my password and it just says error or the spinning wheel of death. Inadequate technical customer support. Easy to fix small issue takes weeks to get resolved. Currently Locked out of account first level support responds but the folks who can actually resolve issue have not done their job. Transfers and re-allocations got stuck somewhere along the way so my portfolio looks the same as it did 6 months ago. A few transactions have been pending for months. Any new contributions that I initiate are just added to my cash balance and not invested into my desired fund selection. It’s turned into an expensive savings account. The customer service rep (seems to be only 1 person) is nice but I suspect overwhelmed with work. Something updated and now when I open the app I get the front screen and then a blank screen instead of the login or anything else. Help!! ### 1/5 — App constantly freezes - can’t access funds *2022-11-23, version 1.48* Currently I can’t even access my account. When you open Q.ai it just freezes. Nothing like not being able to access your brokerage account. Never had anything like this happen on any other trading platform. I’m actually filing a complaint with the SEC. ### 1/5 — Where's my money? *2022-10-31, version 1.47* I deposited midweek (thankfully), because their AI only operates on Mondays (suspicious). Their CEO passed away and the company is falling apart because of it. I transferred my money to the Cash Reserve after reading all the horror stories on the Discord channel. I initiated a "Liquidation" (how can you liquidate what's already liquid?) on October 21st. It's been 6 business days and the money is not back in my bank account. I was told my money would be transferred the next day and it has yet to be sent to my account. I needed this money due to an emergency and they have really put me in a bind here. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DON’T USE THIS COMPANY. I am making a complaint with the SEC and encourage others going through what I am to do the same. I hope they really are FDIC insured. The deposit requirement is too high/risky to attract new investors especially when the application itself is in beta stage. I am unsure if it is a one-time requirement or not but in any case they should provide more clarity on this or just outright remove it. ### 1/5 — Q.ai doesn’t follow through *2022-08-26, version 1.43.0* I signed up for the app through an ad that promised a $100 bonus for initiating a deposit. I never got the bonus, and their support team ghosted me. ### 1/5 — This App Steals Your Money *2022-08-15, version 1.42.0* This app appears to be functioning as a scam to steal user money. It should be reviewed by Apple's security teams. It claims to allow investing like Robinhood, E*Trade and other well-known apps but once you transfer funds into it the money disappears and can't be withdrawn or used to invest, contrary to all the claims in the App Store and the developers website. Can’t complete the sign up ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Won’t let me signup *2023-11-09* So, I was looking for something like this, seems promising, Downloaded the app, but it skips past the portion where I can create an account/login credentials and just goes to the login screen for existing users. Attempting to create an account online through their official website also proved useless because it gives me an error saying an account with my email already exists which is also false because hitting “forgot password” then states no account exists with this email. What is going on? ### 1/5 — Not ready yet *2023-10-18* Not sure about investments or returns- but the app (more likely the back-end) doesn’t work at all. Every single thing I did, failed to work the first time- opening an account, initial deposit, subsequent deposit, initial investment, etc - every single thing needed a conversation with support. Support was good & eventually fixed it - but transactions should just “work” & not need a support call, every. single. time. I closed my account & deleted the app. **Developer response:** We apologize for the inconvenience. On even the best of occasions, response time to simple queries is measured in days, but recently it has gone from days to weeks, and still no response. Tomorrow I will look to see how an SEC complaint might help get a response. I can’t recommend this company to anyone. Back to the app - it’s very buggy. You make a change to your investment choices and there is no confirmation that the change was made or when it will be processed. The strategies underperformed but I found it interesting and wanted to support the idea with my money. 2022 happened and I decided it would be smart to withdraw my money and take tax loss. That was months ago 2022. It is now 2023 and I STILL do not have my money, and I am constantly getting the run around from customer support. Its giving me FTX vibes. Has major software issues. Won’t let you find your account. Customer support is always non existent. Tell you reply in under 2 hours. It’s been 48 hours and this is after holiday hours. Don’t waste your time with this company or App you will regret it. ### 1/5 — Not a good experience *2022-12-31, version 1.49.1* I tried to join but was told their application process had been changed recently and I would need to email them my drivers license or passport AND my social security card. I’m not going to email my social security card. I did email my passport though, but I was told this wasn’t enough. I just closed everything but haven’t gotten an email yet saying that it had been closed, as I was told I would. I hope my information is secure and I haven’t put myself at risk. I joined the discord as well. I’ve been having login issues, support was in the process of trying to figure out why I can’t log in. We’ve tried a few things, so they were going to reach out to another team. Support team was pleasant and genuine but they have since quit all together replying to me now it’s been months I’ve tried to contact multiple times, but it seems they either quit trying, or don’t care. I didn’t invest a huge amount but it honestly feels like they just took my money and ran. I can’t see any of my information, but I still get monthly statements that I can’t access. I invested money and I can’t access anything at all. To be fair I did play around quite a bit with the capabilities, and I signed up during the Beta. It lets me spread my money across dozens of different stocks/ETF’s easily and adjusts investments weekly so I don’t have to stay on top of it. Previous reviews mention issues with connecting bank account but that didn’t happen for me. One thing worth mentioning is that this app is not even publicly available to everyone yet. You have to sign up for a waitlist and get invited to open an account. Since the app is in “beta” occasional bugginess can be expected although the team seems pretty on top of fixing bugs as there are app updates almost weekly with new features and enhancements. I now can invest in whatever strategy I want. Before, I was stuck with the strategy assigned when I opened my account.
