### 4/5 — Qalo slim smart ring

*2026-08-12*

I’ve had the ring for several months so have quite a bit of experience with it. Over all it’s pretty good. No fees just the upfront price is nice. My main use case is sleep tracking as my watch does the rest. A couple things to note, if I go sit in bed to read maybe to catch an evening show it will start racking up time I’m not sleeping and is tracked as me trying to sleep and gives a negative rating. I end up taking it off until I am really trying to sleep so I get accurate numbers. The rest of the sleep tracking works very well for zones tracking and I believe they are accurate. The HRV and resting heart rate number are a little squirrelly as well, every other day they will be listed as high or low but viewing the graph things look fine.

### 4/5 — Tracking sleep issues

*2026-07-28, version 1.44*

I really wish you had the ability to edit sleep times (falling asleep and waking times). Last night it tracked that I slept from 18:49-04:30 which is far from accurate. Now it’s being counted against me when I didn’t actually get into bed until 20:45. It did ask if I took a nap and I said No.

### 4/5 — Love this incredibly intuitive

*2026-07-26, version 1.44*

Like the title says, this is an incredibly intuitive app. Everything that I check on a regular basis is already on the front page.

### 2/5 — Not worth it

*2026-07-17*

I purchased the QRNT slim in January and loved it initially. Primarily to track sleep and cycle as I’m postpartum and learning this new life. Now, it’s July and two ring replacements later, I wouldn’t repurchase. The battery life has been the most frustrating for me. Battery will be charged to 100% and after 4 hours of wearing - without a workout - the battery drops to 50%. This has happened to me twice now. brand new, it lasts 5/6 days but 2 months in, fails. Also, I dislike that I don’t get any notification about my battery life from the app. This should be an automatic push notification that the battery is below a certain percent. Actually now that I think about it, I don’t get any notification from the app. It would be nice to get notified when you reach the Qscore or if your heart rate is showing abnormalities. Since I did purchase this for cycle tracking it’d also be great to have the app alert me that I’m about to start my cycle. With my frustrations about the performance of this ring and the app, I will say customer service has been great. I’ve reached out to troubleshoot with them and usually get timely responses with some basic things to try. I’m excited for them to work out all these bugs and hope that the future of QRNT exceeds my current feelings.

### 3/5 — Loved it but then disappointed

*2026-07-08, version 1.43*

I have only had mine for a little over a month and i workout everyday. I love to see my steps but recently over the past week and a half my ring has not been tracking steps or showing any activity in the movement column. I only had good things to say but now i am very disappointed because i have tried factory reset, deleting and reinstalling the app, letting the ring die and fully let it recharge, and still nothing is working.

### 4/5 — Overall pretty good

*2026-06-29, version 1.43*

I love it but unfortunately it’s really awful at tracking running and walking. It’s almost 3/4 of a mile off the total mileage every time and I use a GPS app for accuracy. I wish I didn’t have to use multiple apps but the rings doesn’t track those workouts accurately.

### 2/5 — Pretty well!

*2026-06-14, version 1.42*

Overall I have love my QRNT ring, I love being able to see all the data. My only flaws are, I HATE the way the body temperature tracking is set up I just want to know my exact temperature, I also don’t like I have to do activity for a heart rate tracking. I wishhhhhhh that we could have tips on sleep recovery as well. Also I would love to see illness tracking/ biometrics. Hopefully these are all things we could possibly see in the near future, but overall great purchase!

### 4/5 — 4 stars for hopeful potential..

*2026-06-09*

All in all, a fabulous free app with an affordable health ring! I really really appreciate that. With it being free, I expected some features to be lacking, and that’s fine as I don’t need *everythinggggg* to be exact…. However I am honestly shocked that my workouts from my Apple Watch don’t sync over to the app 🥴 I track workouts on my Apple Watch because it shares to so many other things that I find helpful, but according to my ring/app, I don’t workout and that impacts my overall scores. Therefore, the info I am getting is skewed because I don’t want to have a million apps/devices going at once. Pleaseeeee allow workouts to “write” data over to the QALO app!!! 🤞🏼 also do agree with the other review about wishing we could edit sleep patterns - there are a lot of “light sleep” times where I know I was awake and would love to have the “manual add” or edit option! Perhaps a “manual add” activity option could help for now if it’s too hard to get apple workouts to sync. Thanks for a great option so far - hopeful it only continues to improve!

### 3/5 — Great but workout tracker is cumbersome

*2026-06-07*

When starting a workout, the app takes way too long to sync with my ring. Should be able to start a workout right away without waiting for a sync. Then when trying to end a workout, I have to hold down the “end workout” button for several seconds, followed by a confirmation that I want to end the workout. Did I not just hold down the “end workout” button for several seconds? I should just be able to hit end workout. That’s it. Should not be this cumbersome to use the workout function. I will only be using this for sleep/vitals from now on until the workout function is improved.

### 4/5 — Health app integration

*2026-06-05, version 1.41*

I love the ring and the app I just wish that it had more integration with the health app and vise versa. I’d like for it to communicate temperatures and cycle tracking with my health app.

### 4/5 — Easy to Use

*2026-06-03, version 1.40*

This is a really good app that is easy to use and understand. I like the data provided. One thing that could use improvement is the connectivity between the ring and app during exercise

### 3/5 — Meh

*2026-05-29, version 1.40*

I wanted so badly to live this ring but the sleep data is rarely accurate and my workout data also is never accurate. i do like the stats that it tracks however with the workout and sleep data being inaccurate i’m unsure how accurate the rest is. i do love that the app doesn’t require a subscription and has recently started tracking menstruation. all in all i dont love the ring but i dont hate it either

### 4/5 — Step tracking not great

*2026-05-28*

I would say overall, I really like this ring. I like that it attracts my sleep and many other things but overall the thing that really gets me the most is that it doesn’t seem to track my steps as well as my Apple Watch does for example. There is always a very large discrepancy between what my Apple Watch says, and what my QALO QRNT slim smart ring says. I absolutely love my ring, but I would appreciate a better or more accurate step counter for things like my exercise score to be improved because I really don’t know how well it’s accurately capturing something like my steps.

### 4/5 — OKAY

*2026-05-28, version 1.40*

The only issue I have is with the step count. It only measures about 50% of my steps. I compare it with my IPhone and watch.

### 4/5 — Night Shift!

*2026-05-22, version 1.39*

Love everything about the app. The only thing I would love to see is being able to adjust your sleep times! I am a night shift nurse, so it’s hard to track accurately on the nights I work.

### 4/5 — Wish it had more

*2026-05-15*

I agree with other reviews that the cycle tracking features needs some work. It needs to tell you your actual skin temp and not just how it varies from “baseline” which it also doesn’t tell you what that is in degrees. I wish it gave the illness warning predictions and insights to recovery - it has those metrics but leaves it up to you to interpret and doesn’t alert you to your metrics or what they mean ever… which is kind of a bummer. All this info and still not entirely sure what to do with it all. Wish the app was more interactive.

### 3/5 — Customization

*2026-05-09, version 1.37*

It would so nice if there was a customization feature of how we want the app to look. Like, I don’t actually care about my score…I wanna open the app and see where maybe my steps are at without having to scroll. Or whatever else metric. Or change out the icons at the bottom of different features within the app. I switched from Oura bc we all appreciate the no subscription part, but honestly still love and miss their app the best.

### 4/5 — Qalo slim smart ring

*2026-05-05, version 1.36*

Love the ring. There are some discrepancies with sleep times/identifying naps. I also wish the app could track food like the oura ring app. On their app you can take pictures of your food and it tracks it for you. I think having all of that in one place would be so great.

### 3/5 — Good enough

*2026-04-29, version 1.35*

The ring is good enough. The battery is really good. The thinness and style is as well. It doesn’t always track my sleep as well as I would like. There are times I know I wake but it does not show. The resting heart rate statistics also seem a little high.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Inaccurate data

*2026-05-15, version 1.38*

Bought to mainly track sleep issues and workouts. I’m often awake for an hour or more each night but the ring says I slept all night. I walk a mile after I workout every day. The ring tracks it as .6 mile. The step count also is typically 1000 steps different than apple fitness. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times but they won’t reply.

### 1/5 — I love the ring but hate the app!

*2026-05-01, version 1.35*

The app unfortunately needs serious updates for a smoother experience and user friendly interface. Specifically, The entire cycle tracking tab is AWFUL. Can’t edit or delete a period. It should be an option to see a calendar view and then add / edit periods from there just like any other cycle tracking app. The app is going in the right direction for sure, but I’m desperately hoping for some useful updates regarding women’s health.

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2026-04-17, version 1.33*

I just got this ring and was so excited to try it out because I wanted help with tracking my cycle and a little more information on sleep. Ever since I got the ring I’ve been trying to connect it to the app. I’ve tried everything, including shutting down my phone, re-downloading and downloading the app turning off and on my Bluetooth fully charging the ring. I tried contacting support and they haven’t responded back to me. I have no idea why it won’t connect to my phone. I haven’t found anything online that can help me with my ring. It sounds like a great product. I just wish I could get it to connect to the app.

### 1/5 — No response to Help Inquiry - Ring not connecting after latest update

*2026-04-15, version 1.33*

Ring not connecting after latest update. I have done all the troubleshooting and it is not working. I have the ring in the charger and it lights up for a second and no other lights come on. I have emailed the app support 3 times and not have gotten a response.

### 1/5 — Update causing issues

*2026-04-03, version 1.32*

Since my app updated my ring won’t scan for my stress and other features. Worked great before the update.

### 1/5 — Ring stopped connecting

*2026-04-03, version 1.32*

My ring won’t connect after the newest update, now I have a feeling I’m stuck with a useless ring

### 1/5 — Battery is not good

*2026-03-31, version 1.31*

I’m on my 5th or 6th qrnt slim. After about a month the ring’s battery doesn’t work for more than a couple of hours. QALO keeps sending me a new one but the product just isn’t great. This past time they said it’s best to use it for leisure activities and not weightlifting. I can’t even use it for weightlifting because the battery doesn’t last long enough during one of my sessions.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-03-27*

This app and ring is not worth the price you will pay for it. I am on my 7th wearable product testing them out etc this is actually my 5th ring I have tried and I am going back to a previous device. This ring constantly loses connection does not accurately track. I have used it for months in hopes that app updates will fix basic connection issues. Additionally when I purchase it said auto detection of workouts was a feature that still has not been delivered everything is walking. I get asked did you workout my HR is over 117 for a prolonged period yes I did indeed workout but it auto detects walking not a CrossFit workout ( and I get it it doesn’t have to say CrossFit but the point is there) this should be better. Alerts don’t even come through that the battery is low amor below a threshold. This is basic stuff that every other ring or wearable delivers. QALO cannot deliver that on a consistent level. I also began to realize that the app and ring didn’t cost me that much va other wearables and I am getting I guess exactly what I paid for by the app which is nothing. In this day and age it should not be this hard. QALO stick to making rubber rings because at least those were quality.

### 1/5 — Do not buy qalo

*2026-03-27, version 1.30*

Ring died and customer support has taken over 10 weeks to resolve this. Claimed they were shipping replacement but has been over a week.

### 1/5 — false advertising - no women’s health feature

*2026-03-18, version 1.30*

claims to have women’s health but doesn’t. i’ve contacted support multiple times and waited for weeks. no response. please inform the community or stop advertising as such. returned the ring as a result.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Smart Ring

*2026-06-23, version 1.43*

Great product!! Love the app and very user friendly. Lots of data to look at to help pay attention to areas in your life that can improve.

### 5/5 — This ring and customer service are trash.

*2026-06-13, version 1.42*

I’ve attempted to contact customer service 2 times - I replied to a message they sent me saying my inquiry got sent to spam. I’ve had my ring since August and it already doesn’t work. It’s snug to my finger and no longer reads anything - sleep, HR, etc. and I’ve asked for a replacement.

Update: after the above review, I got my ring replaced and it has been working great. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Keeps me on point

*2026-06-06, version 1.41*

I love using the QALO app and ring because it keeps me active and dialed into all of the health point check-ins that really matter!

### 5/5 — Qalo

*2026-06-02, version 1.40*

It’s an easy way to track your health, including your sleep and heart rate during exercise!

### 5/5 — Streaks

*2026-05-07, version 1.36*

Hate that you work hard to keep your streak and when you accomplish it early in the day and then it’s taken away because of a glitch. I had 26 days of hitting 80 or above and my step count is off by 10k this evening and I lost my streak at the end of the day. This has happened on more than 1 occasion.

### 5/5 — Love this App, but..

*2026-04-29, version 1.35*

One thing i would love to see as the future progresses is friends and having it read data from Apple Health so that I do not have click two workout apps moving forward

### 5/5 — Mindy

*2026-04-29, version 1.35*

I love the ring especially the sleep tracking

### 5/5 — So user friendly and insightful!

*2026-04-20, version 1.34*

Love the App and the experience. Super user friendly and insightful!

### 5/5 — What’s the point of

*2026-04-18*

I had to get my first ring replaced because the battery wasn’t lasting a single day, and Qalo was great about that. Got this ring and for a week it was fine, and now it stopped tracking sleep, and every time I open the app it says my ring is unpaired (likely why it’s not tracking sleep) and that I need to repair it. Not convenient when you’re about to do a workout and you don’t have the charger with you to repair. Pretty bummed about this. Considering throwing in the towel.

### 5/5 — Bad first impression — edited

*2026-04-10*

Just got my ring and am trying to pair with the app. As soon as I type in my email I get a “can’t connect to server” alert, and when trying to pair the ring I immediately get a “something went wrong” alert. This is a horrible first impression for QALO when there’s several other fitness rings on the market.

Edit:
Issues has been addressed with the developers and I haven’t had issues since.

**Developer response:** Our team resolved it quickly, and the app is now fully operational. If you experience any other issues, please reach out to appsupport@qalo.com for assistance.
