Searching everywhere just to add boarding pass to wallet….. but once logged into privilege club it’s impossible to get out. I have no interest in bidding for football matches, I just want to be able to switch to upcoming flight details! I don’t want to download, I just want to see “add to wallet”. The site is too busy and does not steer customers correctly to using the Avios rewards which is/was extremely frustrating. It feels as though I’ve invested in a product but not able to experience the benefits. My partner and I had a confirmed transit hotel booking for our 21 hour layover in Doha after a long journey. We planned this rest period as we had more long flights ahead and needed proper recovery. On arrival, we were informed that the allocated hotel was outside the airport and we could not access it due to visa restrictions. My passport details were provided during the booking process, so this should have been checked before confirming the accommodation. I approached the transfer desk and multiple staff members, but no proper solution was provided. I was assured alternative accommodation would be arranged, but after hours of waiting we were still left without a place to rest. I contacted Qatar Airways through multiple channels, including Facebook and email, but received no meaningful resolution. He is from turkey. Thank god and the universe and I thanked him especially for helping me. I wanted to give him something but didn’t have cash so I Ran to atm but none found. He said “I'm sure you would do the same if you were me. I was also very happy that the visa was approved immediately. I hope a nice holiday is waiting for you now. It's time to enjoy the holiday. I am in the service industry. The cabin crew worked tirelessly to assist all customers with a smile and the chief flight attendant was very courteous and helpful.
